[The Great Robotnik]

"So you are proposing that GUN will publicly accept and work with me to put the peoples minds at ease? Are you certain that GUN's reputation is strong enough for that?"

["Trigger"]

"Don't be naive, Doctor. As far as GUN and the rest of the world are concerned, you're still enemy #1. That is why we plan to orchestrate a crisis which will turn the public opinion of you from a power mad dictator to a savior of the people. And though the commanders of GUN will never be willing to trust you, rest assured, every soldier in the field will certainly feel different when your forces are there aiding them when they are at their most desperate moment. People are like a flock of birds. When they see one do something they are not all as quick to act, but when a great crowd of them acts the rest will follow. We've already begun amassing a force of our own that will aid in you and when others see them working along side you they will be quick to support your aid. And when all is over and done with, they will be grateful, and at the least indifferent to you taking control."

[The Great Robotnik]

Robotnik rubs his chin thoughtfully as considers the idea. "Sounds like you've put alot of thought into this. That's some pretty quick thinking. How long until this 'crisis' comes up?"

["Trigger"]

"Soon, I assure you, Doctor. While we have quite obviously been planning this for some time, only now have we been able to start gathering forces and resources. Had we begun to do so in advance, suspicions would naturally be aroused. The first stage for us is gathering materiel that we shall need, in addition to man power. To an extent that includes you. We don't believe we could be successful without your participation. We also plan to 'remove' potential threats before they have a chance to learn of our plans and attempt to stop us."

[The Great Robotnik]

"Very well, I'll lend what I can. Just don't expect me to trust you immediately. While I like the sound of what you propose I don't know you well enough just yet."

["Trigger"]

"Very good, we shall speak again in a few weeks time. I suggest you begin preparing your forces till then. We'll contact you soon on the same frequency as we are now and you'll be able to recognize our codes so you will know it is us. Until then, Doctor."

With that, the signal cut out and the computer monitors returned to normal. Trigger, who'd been listening closely to the entire conversation was greatly confused as to what just happened here. One minute he'd just declared that nothing would come of Robotnik's transmission, the next, he'd been proven dead wrong. "Uh... what just happened here boss?"

[Sorry for the confusion about the time warp etc. I hadn't been aware of the condition Lynx had let you go by. Disregard Trigger's earlier implications about the time warp and assume we are still prior to it. Once Blitz gets his intro done, then we shall skip ahead as we are supposed to. Also, my apologies for the long wait Blitz. Feel free to join the party now.]

[Yes, let's go ahead with the warpy-ness. Once all that are present have responded we can put in filler. Being that we are on the carrier it'll be easy to say we've been kept separate from everything else going on. Off the top of my head I know Trigger, Blitz, Rose and Byrain are here.]

"It seems I just got someone to support my cause. I think this is going to be.... fun.", Robotnik states followed by a hearty chuckle.

[Blitzkrieg]

Blitz stepped up behind Trigger, one hand morphed into it's blade-claw mode, and tapped him on the shoulder, just heavily enough that he could feel the point digging into his clothes. He cleared his throat slightly, a very aggrivating noise considering his metallic voice, akin to a nail being scraped over a chalkboard. "Ahem... that's all fine and dandy and all, but aren't you forgetting something, Trigger?"

["Trigger"]

Trigger hardly took the veiled threat of the knife seriously since his armour included shoulder pauldons to protect that part of him. He simply threw a hard elbow back into Blitz's chest. (Not so much to hurt the metal chested bot, but to knock him away and assert he's not worried about him. "Oh, and one other thing, you asked me to go find that lead-head bot that broke into the island base, and here he is. Calls himself Blitzkrieg, and he says he wants to join you."

"So many seem to be flocking to my cause..", he stated quietly as he studied the newcomer. "Tell me... Blitz was it? Why do you wish to work for me?"
