"I'll do what any government would do. I'd start with negotiations. Isn't that what would you do in such a situation?"

[Kitty O'Brien]

"It depends. Correct me if I'm wrong, Doctor, but haven't the 'negotiations' you've participated in in the past usually involved some sort of threat? 'Hand over the Chaos Emerald, Sonic, or your girlfriend meets her maker!' Does that sound like the kind of negotiation you would make? If so, it's hardly any way to get on someone's good side."

[The Great Robotnik]

"Well, if that's what everyone wants me to do I guess I can... not what I had in mind, but certainly not beyond my means. Tell ya what, we'll let the viewing public vote on how I handle negotiations! They can choose whether I do it diplomaticly or aggressively."

[Kitty O'Brien]

"Would they vote on what they would want you to do, or what they would expect you to do? Either way I'd anticipate a landslide."

[The Great Robotnik]

"Then let's go that route. We shall allow the viewers to vote on how I handle my negotiations to the world nations that don't accept my rulership! Setup a phone number for them to call into, Miss O'Brien. Let them cast their vote." Robotnik seems to look off camera and motions at a serving bot. "Bring me a soft drink and Miss O'Brien another milk."

[Perhaps it's time to setup a poll. ]

[Kitty O'Brien]

Kitty nodded.

"Did you hear that, viewers? Later today we'll set up a poll on the KBS website's main page to see just what your opinions are regarding how the Doctor here ought to make his negotiations. You'll all have two weeks to cast your vote, and please be honest; remember that we're dealing with a potential ruler of the world here."

She turned slightly. "Anything else you'd like to say before we close the interview, Doctor?"

[The Great Robotnik]

"Only that I am pretty sure the turn quicker than two weeks. I would expect the results to be in soon.", Robotnik stated with a smile.

[Kitty O'Brien]

Kitty nodded. "We'll see about that. (She turned her attention back to the camera.) Okay, everyone, that wraps up this session. Remember, when there's news to find, you know Kitty O will find it. This is Kitty O'Brien of KBS News signing off!"

As soon as the RECORDING light on the camera died, Kitty turned to face the doctor again.

"Well, Dr., I've fulfilled my end of the bargain. Now what?"

"We wait, of course. More than just your average viewer was watching this broadcast. I've let everyone know of my intentions, so by now there are political figureheads being pulled out of bed into meetings to discuss the current events. Soon we should be getting contacted.... or attacked, if they can find me.", he stated with a nonchlant shrug. "Either way it should be pretty exciting!"

"Does this 'we' include me?"
