“Here that?” Rose started off in a smug tone, “No. Wellitwasnicetalkingtoyou-”

“HEYhey-Hey!” Byrain blurted out hurriedly, “NOW just…hold on a darned minute!”

Rose face palmed. “WHY the HELL do you even care about getting someone into the empire anyways? Do you –KNOW- him?

“…No.”

“THEN WHY ARGUE!?”

“Well let me think…other than the fact that YOU want me dead, there’s a badger who probably wants me dead and a boring android who…looks like he hates everyone….like you. Anyways, he’s not exactly what you would call –harmful- or anything. Just another tech-y guy with a gun. The only thing he might be a problem for is competition for the boss on a certain level.”

Rose blinked, as she stared angrily but dumbfounded at the computer screen. She shook her head slightly.

“…What the hell do you mean by ‘competition on a certain level’?”

There was a pause on Byrain’s end.

“Uhhhhh, nothin’.

Robotnik's brow furrowed in agitation, "Competition for me? I find the mere suggestion of such a thing absurd. Has he built an empire? Created a vessel of doom like the Egg Carrier?! Does he have a massive army of thousands of robots at his command? What proof does this fool have to offer that he can compare to my genius?"

“Heh, heh well I didn’t mean –that- kind of competition.”

Rose continued to look baffled.

“Then what kind of competition do you mean?!” Rose asked demandingly.

“Well there might not be much of a problem with it, but I’d hate to see ya go off and break the boss’ heart and all….”

Her eyes began to squint and brows furrowed as an expression of angry slowly crept onto her face. She started to tape her left index finger on the table next to the computer.

“…What are you….trying to say?” The words she hissed out in a slow, menacing manner was more like a demand than a question. The tempo of her tapping finger began to rise as her anger was slowly rising.

"Yes, just what are you trying to say, Byrain?", Robotnik asked as he began a systems weapons check.

If it was possible to see Byrain on the other end of the line, then they would see the one eyed Cyclopes grinning mischievously from ear to ear. He didn’t feel like making his cousin angry at the time, but he might as well; considering the fact that he was very far away from her. He sighed, beginning in a whimsical tone. “It’s just that I’d hate to see my cousin flock to this new tech-y guy when you to are already together!”

Roses eyes jolted open, brows furrowed even more and a long frown emerged, her left eye twitching every once and a while. Her body completed tensed up with her shoulders raised and fist clenched tightly as rage was obviously filling her. She didn’t reply, though it was obvious she was trying as sounds of withholding anger came out of clutched teeth, and her shoulders reacted with a twitch when doing so.

Byrain had tried to hold his snickering in, but it could be faintly heard on the other end.

Rose didn’t really know how to act. So instead she didn’t. She simply just showed a raged filled yet baffled expression, still tensed up and still trying to say something.
