RE: Aquatic Base
[Calling All Robotnik Empire personal. Might be a good time to join in again. ;D]
-ONE MONTH LATER- “You have –got- to be kidding me…” Rose, in some ways, couldn’t help but snicker. Of course she did nothing to change the decision in anyway. And she had already taken out the likely-hood of Robotnik playing any part in this strange decision. Which was what made it funny. She thought that the world would want –peaceful- negotiations…. Instead, they wanted the Doctor to rage war. As Rose quietly snickered to herself, she began out the door, going towards Robotnik’s ‘workspace’ in order to deliver the final verdict of the people of the “free” world. Passing through many corridors, and getting into an elevator later, Rose managed to find herself at the entrance to the lab. She pressed a button on the control panel for the door turning on a very small intercom that would go to the other side’s control panel, hopefully in reach to where the Doctor would hear. “Dr. Robotnik, The results to the polls has arrived.” |

RE: Aquatic Base
Robotnik was busy, as usual, in his workshop. Today he was putting the final touches on... well, something. Something big and powerful looking. It was a pill shaped device the size of a large car with cables and high pressure hoses coming out of various places on the thing.
When Rose enters she doesn't immediately see Robotnik, but knows exactly where's he is at by following the sounds of a ratcheting spanner from behind the device. "Is that so?" she hears from the other side of the object, "What's the word, then?" |

RE: Aquatic Base
She walked in closer, trying to get a look at the other side of the strange machine in which she assumed he was working on.
“Surprisingly,” she started out taking a deep breath, “ They want you to use force” |

RE: Aquatic Base
"Really?", he said with a bit of surprise, "They must be bored or masochistic. Either way, who am I to disappoint my people?" There's more turning of the ratchet, slowing in pace as what he is adjusting reaches torque limits. "So what do you think? Should I listen to my people?"

RE: Aquatic Base
She blinked. “Dr. Robotnik, I doubt you need my ‘opinion’ on things.” Rose replied |

RE: Aquatic Base
Robotnik gets up and addresses a nearby computer terminal. After a few taps on the keyboard the enormous device powers up giving off a soft blue glow in places and hums energeticly. "Initiate test run, one one gamma.", he orders then turns to face Rose. "And why's that? You've been working with me for a while now, why should I not be interested in your opinion?"

RE: Aquatic Base
She looked to the right, and then to the left before staring at the doctor dumbfounded. “…Because I’m a parasite, and compared to your intelligence I don’t see why my opinion would be of any importance.” Rose replied, simply yet confused. |

RE: Aquatic Base
Robotnik just looks at her with a bemused expression, "You've been watching soap opera's, haven't you?"
A chime sounds and the computer pipes up, "Test run, complete. Efficiency at 99.7 percent. Power output levels nominal." "Ah, good... not perfect, but good. I can live with that for now." |

RE: Aquatic Base
The bottom left of her eyelid twitched.
“Idonotwatchsoapophras.” She replied, defensively and quickly. Looking over towards the strange device though, Rose changed the topic, pointing at the contraption. “Doctor, what are you exactly working on, over there?” |

RE: Aquatic Base
"Oh, this thing? It's just a little something I whipped up. It boosts the power output of Carriers reactor. Simple, really... it sends the energy through a sort of resonating chamber, bombards the conduits with particle accelerants that react with the electrons and excites them. I used a coil of spun organometallic gas sealed in a coil ring to help produce the effect. Energy production is boosted quite a bit, but you only want to use it for a short amount of time or else you could possibly melt the systems. Once I hook it up I can direct boosted power to any ship system I desire. Think of it as a turbo for the carrier."
