[If everyone is okay with it, I think this would be the best place as any to activate ye olde time warp and bring this time paradox to a close? If not, let me know, but otherwise I think it would be good to get my story finally rolling.]

With a chuckle Robotnik stated, "Thank you for the permission. Now, we have some choices ahead of us. For the time being I am legit. A politician, so to speak... and by the sounds of it a faction of GUN is joining our cause. What do you make of it all, Rose? I'd like to hear your opinion."

“I don’t like it.” She stated simply. “It’s obvious to me that they simply want the resources that the empire has that they don’t. It also seems as they want to use you as a ‘figurehead’ to some sort of puppet government, which is unacceptable by all means.”

She paused for a moment or two, seemingly in deep thought before continuing.

“Though you can obviously use this to your own advantage. Despite this…’realization’ of the government being fraudulent, G.U.N. is still G.U.N. and their ignorance knows no bounds. Not only do their actions during the Ark Crisis show this, but in the past with the Ark incident as well. XXXX* people died over 50 years ago for absolutely nothing, even though they could have well lived IF G.U.N. would have taken the many options that all could of avoid the complete genocide of scientific minds; and later on the sanity of the greatest mind. And there tactics seemed to have stayed the same somewhat over those years. So the possibility is, while they try to deceive and use the empire to their own whim, the empire can do the very same to them , using their ignorance against them.”

(* This is the number killed in the Ark incedent. As far as I know there are no numbers stated to how many died so I simply put 4 X's in place. )

"Yes, it's a puppet game. You just have to make sure you're not the one on the strings.", Robotnik said with a smile. "Besides, if I do somehow end up being the puppet I know how to cut the strings. But, there's no sense in worrying about that at the moment. What I need to do is try to keep my head level and keep track of what I'm doing."

The evil genius sighed and leaned back in his seat to mull his thoughts for a moment, "Ah yes, I was running for leader of the planet! Have we gotten any calls back on that yet?"

Robotnik grumbles. "Fine... but this waiting game is boring me. Here I have the Egg Carrier, a vast army of robots and some elite troops at my beck and call! I need to hasten the leaders decisions somehow. Hmm, maybe our new GUN allies could be of use in that respect. Contact them back and find out what they know about the various leaders. Perhaps there are weaknesses we can exploit!"

She was about to leave, when she remembered the reason she had even came to the Doctor in the first place.

“Docter…this may sound like a stupid question, but you wouldn’t happen to know anything about…nano technology, would you?”
