Beth Amella
Name: Beth Amella
Age (Real): 27 Age (Appearance): 12 Gender: Female Species: Human / Feline Eye Color: Hazel Hair Color: Blue Height: 3" 11' Weight: 77 Lbs. Alignment: Villian Image: [image] Appearance: She wears a black shirt, that has after the waist a splits in the back that makes two tail ends a little ways down, it has a white trim around the back and on the edges. She wears matching puffed up black pants. She wears black shoes with white shocks that peek out just a bit over the edge. Her wand is often seen across her back just above her tall, with its rope ends oven swing on the left side. Her dark blue tail often is seen hanging low at all times. She wears a perfectly rounded black with white trimmed, beret on her head off to the left, covering her dark blue ear and leaving the right ear out in the open. Her hair is a more brighter blue then her fur, which makes them seem like they aren't real, she keeps her hair short. She overall looks thin and frail, which is very much how she physically stands. Personality: She is dark, negative, and know-it-all-ish to boot. She has a great deal of disposition towards those who call her a child or a kid. She has a deep mother complex that will drive her to do anything for mother. She has a love-hate relationship with the world in general. She seemly has a bit of a duel personality disorder, possibly due to her untreated mental trauma. She switches from being playful and childish, to objective and cold at the drop of a dime, despite this it seems she enjoys what she does regardless which personality it is. History: Beth was born into a middle class family on the more rural side of Station Square, with a human mother, Nancy and feline father, Pat. When she was born she had no idea of the troubles or complications that would follow in her wake. Her mother despite giving birth to Beth, became very ill. The complications to giving birth to a hybrid cause great strain on her body during her nine months, and during birth. Her body never recovered from the troubles as she lived her life with constant medical troubles. The medical bills and the costs were constant trouble for the family of three, so Pat often wasn't home. He was working heavy over-time attempting to pay off family medical bills for both his wife, and his daughter. So Beth grew up with a constantly sick mother and a work hard dad. She was forced to become independent very early. Her mother tired her best to do her motherly duty but constant pains and side effects from medication left her close to being bed-bound. Beth's fathers had to work very hard to pay the medical bills, put food on the table, and keep the house. She grew up most of her childhood watching her mother suffer from unseen pains, and an overworked father. Despite that her parents did there best to keep her happy, she got toys so often, and other child items. They loved her as much as they could and they spent as much time as possible with her, even if it was limited. Beth found herself doing stuff like cleaning the dishes, washing the table, and taking out the trash when she was only seven years old. She was taking care of the house when she was home, and working hard at school. She was academically very good with her studies. Her parents didn't know but she was following her childish idea to become smart and cure mom. She was determined to do her best to cure her mom from her unknown pains. School life wasn't very friendly for Beth, being a hybrid. She had to deal with kids pulling her furry ears and tail. She was later placed in a furry school due to her smarts and high grades, but even in that school kids would pull at her tail and ears, trying to see if they were fake. She put up with most of it at school, and unlike many kids her age was able to completely ignore them in the end. She had more important goals in life, like saving mom. It was around 11 years old that she had her own medical problem. She was entering middle school and was already expected to do great things based on testing and other things but physically her appearance wasn't changing. Her growth had stopped, or at least that what it appeared. For a year, they did nothing. They though that maybe her growing into adolescent was just delayed, that maybe her body was just being 'slow'. Beth by 7th grade, had not gained any height, nor looked any older then when she first entered middle school. Her parents worried about something being wrong took her to the doctors. Her body when going through puberty, with the chemical changes in the body, didn't go right for Beth. Her body had somehow 'resisted' the chemical change over, in turn drastically slowing down her aging and her growth from child to adolescence. She was going through puberty but at very slow pace, predicted over five times longer then the average. Her mentally was still growing but her body in general was going slower then her mind. Beth didn't understand at first the dramatic affect it would have on her life. The older she got the more it became noticeable and more pressure from not only peers but teachers and anyone else that met her. She was becoming an adult stuck in a child's body. She was still only mentally 14 and she didn't understand how 'scary' that was till she became old enough. It was also at this point it became clear that cause her body wasn't growing right that her physical body was handicapped. She looked like a child and her body physically was a child. This made her a far easier target at school, being a hybrid was handicap enough but now as a child hybrid. Beth managed to avoid fights in middle school but as she finished 8th grade, the danger became even more noticeable. She still wanted to learn about her mother's illness but ironically she couldn't find anything in books or Internet. Her mother's illness was non-existent in common searches and average medical textbooks. It was at the end of her middle school years, that her mother and father, discovering about her 'goal' in life sat down and talked with her. She took it rather well, she got depressed and she cried, being told that it because you were born that caused the illness was hard but her mother helped her get over it. "If I could do this all over again. I would, because I love you." Those words stayed in Beth's heart as she grew up. She didn't take it depressively, but in fact positively using the fact her mother loved her as all the more reason to try and make her parents proud of her. She would manage to get through high school with this new determination, as it would prove to be the most difficult time of her life. High School, at first she was told by her parents when she was younger that those would be the most memorable years of her school life, they would be for Beth... in a negative way. She was drastically shorter then everyone else in the school, her own appearance acting to ostracized her from everyone else. It was hard to get over being constantly mistaken as a 'lost child', it proved that there were plenty of good people in the school but despite that she couldn't help but be annoyed by it, especially when it was done initially. Her own size was saving her from being a target for bullies, she was so small that most bullies couldn't bring themselves to beat up on a 'child', which relieved Beth in one way and utterly annoyed her in another. However that advantaged was short lived, her excelling good grades and constant high marks easily started to make look at her in another way, aggressively. Her first fight, resulted in her going to the hospital. Her body was just as frail as her appearance, the difference between an almost full-grown human male and a child hybrid was simply huge. She ended up with a broken arm, fractured ribs, dislocated kneecap and a mild concussion. The bully was charged on all accounts and was easily put away with the overwhelming amount of injury caused to Beth. She stayed at hospital for almost an entire month before being released. She managed to keep up with her schoolwork by her mom and dad brings her, her work. She also was able to recover quickly once she got back to school, her smarts and academic know-how, quickly brought her back up to speed with everyone. However the trauma from the attack was heavy. She had never been attacked before, let alone on the scale of going to the hospital for several injuries. She became rather scared of anyone that threatened her. She was becoming scared of anything and anyone bigger then her, which was a lot of people. Her parents noticed it and took action, to try and get rid of her fear they decided to try to get her into a self-defense program. It was a good idea but Beth physically wasn't good. Karate and things didn't hold her interest and cause of her growth problem her body had trouble developing strength or anything else for that matter. It was a no go on standard self-defense, she physically was too heavily handicapped to be of any use for her. It was her mother that discovered another type of self-defense, magical. Her mother had also been worrying about self-defensive, especially with the raise of conflicts with the evil Robotnik and Sonic, which was all over the news at the time. She too was too physically handicapped to be able to effectively defend herself if someone came after her, her illness made karate useless to her. She discovered, though rare, there were magical self-defense courses. She spent some time looking but managed to find one in their area. Beth and her mother started going to magical defense courses. Magical self-defense needed more mental focus then anything else. Beth had pertly of it, she had excellent mental focus, easily proven by her remarkable study habits and her ever-increasing grades. She was able to excel rather quickly in basic self-defense. She was a blue class or more simply, water class. Her specialty and later to become her primary element, was water based magic. Her mother however was more incredible then Beth. Her mental focus from her years of experience and many years of pain from her illness, was absurd, she too was blue class. It quickly became a family tradition. After school, they would take a slow and careful walk to the dojo and practice together everyday. Her mother bought her one-day a pendent, with a little star in it. She gave to Beth as a gift, one day after practice. Her mother said it reminded her of Beth... "Cause you my little star of hope." Beth treasured it with everything she had. She loved her mother very much, despite the difficult of the illness she had. She wanted to be there for mother, as much as possible. She redoubled her effort towards school and her dream to be a doctor. Her mother and her kept on going the self-defense courses without fail, only stopping once and awhile for when her mother fell ill once or twice. It was more of a hobby and family thing, her mother not able to do anything exciting or difficult do to her illness was now at least able to practice something with her daughter, Beth. At school Beth was left alone, as not many kids her age knew magic, let alone enough to able to defend themselves with and most being clueless on magic decided it was best to entirely avoid her completely. This didn't brother Beth too much, she enjoyed just sitting in the corner reading a novel or any other story. She never considered becoming a master at water based magic but as she got more into practicing magic, she got deeper into the study and comprehension of it. It became a rather obsessive hobby for her and her mother. She even got in trouble several times at school for practicing magic at school, apparently classifying it under 'Possession of a deadly weapon', which was a bit extreme in her families view but had to respect it anyway as she needed to get through school. She was eighteen and ready to graduate from high school, however she only appeared to be going into middle school, as her appearance still hadn't changed much at all. She was the shortest of the entire class. She had to be placed at the front of the class, not cause of alphabetical order but cause she would never be seen otherwise. It was a great moment for Beth as she had plans for college and further ideas for her education. She wanted to become a medical doctor, to help research her mother's illness, however it was wasn't met to be. Her mother taken by the excitement of her graduation had another episode of pain strikes and passed out in her father's lap. Instead of being it a memorable moment for her life it became a haunting point of her life, the sounds of the ambulances rang in mind for hours it seemed. Her mother was taken directly to Capital City General Hospital. Beth and her father stayed for three days straight at the hospital, waiting for her to wake up, only to be told on the third that she might never wake up. The shock of the moment did it, and with her health as frail as it was there was little or no hope of her waking up. Beth and her father heart broken finally went home and to a depression spree. Her father managed to get drunk at a few bars and Beth went to the library to try to read, only to find her mind too distracted by the thoughts of her mother. It was a harsh time Pat, Beth's father, threw himself back into work to pay for the new medical bills piling in. He did not want to pull the plug on her. He wanted to believe that she would wake up one day. Beth attempted to find work to help out as well, but was turned away at the door. It was the same answer at every door. "Silly girl. You're too young for a job." Her appearance made it impossible for her to get a job, her ID often being considered 'fake' despite being the real thing. No one would believe she was really 18 with a high school diploma, no way with the look of an 11 year old. It was horrible, she was mentally an eighteen-year-old girl but physically had the appearance of an 11 year old, and worse yet she couldn't even get a job cause of her appearance. She couldn't even help her mother out or her father, she threw herself to her only outlet, magic practice. The next five years, Beth threw herself into magical studies. She went beyond just 'self-defense', she went in all she could possibly due with it. She easily found more official schools that taught more advanced magic. She had trouble getting in at first but her education and practical knowledge with magic gave her the edge. She just keeps putting in more and more time into it, all to escape her problems. Her inactions with her father almost seized completely, he was working harder then ever and she was constantly practicing magic. It was when she learned as simiply as much as there was to know was when Beth finally broke down. She couldn't handle it anymore. She felt horrible, her father and her didn't talk, and she didn't do anything and couldn't do anything even if she wanted too. She did something that might be closer to her physical age then her mental age. She ran away from home, without the 'running'. She just decided one day that she wasn't going back to her house. She was tired, distant, friendless, and without any family. She couldn't get a job, couldn't go to college, couldn't even help mom. She was nowhere in life, even her magical practice wasn't able to fill in the void in her life. She had no hopes, no dreams, no goals, just nothing. Her mother was alive but in a state that might be considered 'worse then death'. Her father became a work-a-holic, who came home to only sleep and eat, then to rush out the door again to repeat the cycle. She couldn't even have romantic interesting with the appearance of a child. What reason is there for me to live? She kept thinking that over and over again as she walked through downtown Station Square. The police, being mistaken as a run away child, picked her up. It appeared she couldn't even run away now, the police would come and bring her back too. She started to think about why she was stuck this way, with this way of life. It didn't matter what she did, she couldn't do anything. Her own appearance was her problem. She was still attached to her mother even at her age as her mother was virtually her own friend in life. She had never made friends with anyone else, she didn't need anyone else and even as her mind grew older, there was still no one else but mother. It was the next two years, when she was 25, Beth's mother complex was getting more deadly negative. The more time passed, the more she became paranoid. Her mentally was going in complete reverse as all she wanted was mother again. Her father barely around attempted few times to try and help her but it quickly resulted in an outburst, and the father with barely any time for work often left before anything could be solved. It was around the time her father had decided it was time to pull the plug. He had hung on for so long but he noticed how horribly Beth was being warped by the events, had decided that it was best for the family. He realized that her connection to her mother was only becoming more and more mentally 'bad' for her own health. He also arranged to see if Beth could see psychologists as the mother complex was clearly not good for Beth. When Beth found out, it was out with the mother complex and in with complex full of hate and anger. It was mixed emotions, from anger from her own appearance to her father's work-a-holic stats, to her in ability to do anything. She wasn't going to let them pull the plug on mother, not the doctors, not the nurses, not even her own father. "I won't let you kill MOM!" She yelled and screamed and argued with her father. It became a huge blow out between her and her father, however it ended with her father yelling loudly and commandingly. "STOP THIS INSTANT BETH!" That was it for Beth, the way of his voice, the way he acted. Her father was treating her like an 11 year old. She wasn't even considered an adult in her own family... her appearance even robbing her of her adulthood even in the presence of her own family. She started to shake in anger as it finally came all out. "Did you forget... I'm not a KID!" She used her water magic, 'Eternal Aqua Claw' as her hand turned into a large water claw using a small star shaped stone in her hand as a focus point. She then used the claw to grab her father's shoulder and began to drown him in the water that made up her claw. She was tired of being told she was a child, she was smarter then most adults and yet simply cause she was stuck with a 'child' body, she was considered a child. She was so filled with her own anger that as she thought about all the things that had happened to her. She screamed the out as she let it all out for several minutes... and during those several minutes her father drowned in Beth's claw attack. She would protect mother at all costs and it didn't matter how. She went out onto the streets for the third time in her life, this time she couldn't go back. She wouldn't go back. All she had was the cloths on her and the star pendent her mother gave her. She wandered the streets, in the pouring rain, for a good while till she ended up on the back streets. She was like a lost soul with nothing left till he came. She ran into three people randomly beating on somebody in a back alley. She at first didn't care but they apparently did. They didn't want witness so they quickly ran towards her, she rose up her hand that still had her the pendent her mother gave her. The few moments it took them to reach her was one moment too late, as a powerful focused hydro-pump came out, her 'Hydro Dragon Spike', piercing them horribly and almost instantly killing them as she slowly moved the hydro pump between the three of them, piercing into them with incredible power. She was about to turn around in leave when the person they were beating up approached her, defiantly posing innocently to avoid the same reaction the other men had gotten. His name Nathin, he was a no body and former gang member of the local gang. He was smart but not strong. He had tricked his gang leader into doing something but catch finally and they were beating to him before Beth came along. It was a bit awkward at first, but he could tell by the look on her face she was a lost soul with lots of magical power to waste. He spent the day with Beth by talking to her as she walked the streets, often only getting one-word answers. He avoided the issue of her appearance entirely, not wanting to offend her (especially after what he had just seen). He inadvertently managed to get her to talk about her family, especially on her mother. Beth came on to something, and almost with completely about face with a course finally in mind. The Station Square General Hospital, to visit her mother. Nathin followed, and could easily be seen as scheming on possibly using her potential to maybe help him get even with his former gang. Beth couldn't careless about his scheming, she was going to see mother even if to just see her. She stood in her mother's hospital room, soaking wet, she was breathing and alive but her mind somewhere far far away. She also found out something, the bills hadn't been paid for her care. She was horrified as she inquired further, it appeared to try and save money and cause of the decision, he had already stopped paying her bills. She quickly was able to explain off that it was a mistake. The hospital was one of the few places that people knew her real age at, easily treated it officially. Beth would take care of the bills but it was due in a few days, how would she get the money. Nathin saw the opening and took it. He pointed out that with her skills she could steal it. Beth at first was like she wasn't going to steal as that was wrong. Nathin was a bit surprised, she had out-righted killed three men less then a few hours ago. Stealing would be a minor thing compared to that. He then decided to point out without the money that surely they would pull the plug. Beth knew it was a bit of a classic setup but in the end, she would do it for her mother. She wouldn't let her mother die. Nathin was going to come up with a plan for how to get the money needed but before he could even think, Beth took control. She wasn't the one going to listen to orders, he was. She made that very clear to him once they got outside using her Aqua claw to only 'enforce' her point. It was very clear to Nathin that Beth had a form of double personality disorder. She was regaining herself, she had a mission, a goal. It seemed now that she had a task in her mind she could work sanely. She devised a plan to rob a bank. She knew it was crude and simple but with the deadline, she didn't have a choice. She plotted it carefully, just like she could with her study habits. Nathin would go in with the standard gun and the basic get-up, just the day before the deadline. Nathin at first didn't like the idea of doing all the work but then Beth explained why it would work. If he did it right he would be fast enough to get the money and leave the bank before the police appeared and escape into the sewers, and that's where she came in. If the police attempted to case him down in the sewers they would find themselves being flooded away. It seemed like a simple plan with many holes, but it was the only way. Beth then added as incentive to it. "All I want is enough money to pay mother's medical bill with whatever is left is all yours." He had seen first her obsession to her mother and knew that she 'wouldn't' allow an answer of no, and she also wouldn't let him fail in getting the money. It meant too much too her, he had been mock iced into bigger thing when he was in a gang so he fingered it was for the best. She had killed off his pursuers and she even added the fact they might come after him cause of it and that with her level of skill she could easily 'protect' him. He was cornered as she pointed out the facts to him. He did it, he robbed the Station Square Bank. It went down for the most part as planned, Nathin was a bit slow as when he left the bank the police were coming down the street. He dived into the open manhole that Beth had forced open from below with a simple tidal wave, Nathin and Beth moved miles through the sewers. The police being non-magical and easily losing sight of them in a short span of time had to put out an issue on the money stolen. However by the time the police found out which specific bills were stolen, Beth had already paid her mother's medical bill with it. The money was given to the hospital only an hour after the robbery. Nathin had also gotten a good deal of money, or at least he thought. Beth saw finally somewhat to make progress and money in her life. She didn't care at this point and in a way it was fun for her. She hadn't felt danger or excitement like that since she was a kid and she wasn't about to let Nathin, who may as well be the medium get further in to this darker side of life, go away. It was easy to point out how the money would be very useless if not spent right away, as soon a notice on the stolen bills would go out which would mean they would have to be careful. She also pointed at that this was an excellent point for both him and her to become something far bigger. It was a bit grand and it seemed silly a grown thug following the advice from someone that looked eleven, but he too saw opportunity. If he were with her, then she would protect him from his former gang and cause she simply looked like the average eleven year old girl, she needed him to do business for her. He at first thought it was just robbing bank but as they sat back in an abandoned building and talked, Beth seemed to be filled with excitement and ideas, with the concept of morality no longer existent in her mind, her thinking became a rather deadly tool. It wasn't just banks, she wanted to do anything and everything. She never thought of being an outlaw, and with her appearance it wouldn't be normally possible. She needed to have some sort of income to pay for her mother's medical bills but at the same time she also needed something to do. She knew what happened when she had nothing to do, she had been through that already. The real reason she said explained for why she wanted to do anything and everything. "Because I think I hate this world." She didn't want to do it just for fun but out of anger. The world, that treated her by her appearance instead of her age, the world that shunned her from the next step of life cause of her appearance, was going to pay. She would do anything to anyone cause she hated the world so much. She was always mad but she couldn't place her finger on it and now that she had figured out her anger, she was going to let the world have it. Nathin didn't mind her objective as long as he got some of the pie, he was happy. The next few years were different for Beth and Nathin. It was interesting so of the tasks they got, from money collecting, thug beating, to out right murder. It simply didn't matter. Nathin was clever enough to avoid the cops and didn't tasks that might involve risk that he knew they were better off without. Beth being smart, tactically sound, and magical strong, and despite her appearance, commanding, proved to make things easy. Her magic making short work of the simple thugs and other common scum. They didn't involve themselves in gangs or big targets, it was a bit too much for Beth and her magic alone to handle and carried simply too much risk with it. They took on smaller things, but even though they were small Beth was gaining a name for herself. Beth became known as 'Poseidon's Daughter' and Nathin becoming her 'Contact'. It wasn't long before the police found out that stolen money was appearing to fund her mother's hospital bill but the money was often coming in different each time and sometimes it was non-stolen money. The police attempted to stake out her mother and even prevent payment entirely but with nothing but theories and ideas, and combined that some of the money was coming in randomly with non-stolen money, the police were forced to abandon the stake out. They couldn't legally prevent payment, especially if the money was not reported stolen. Beth, who had grown to hate the world in general, was enjoying doing what she wanted. Mother was safe and alive, and she was doing anything she wanted. She didn't care about morality anymore and still doesn't. She recently had wanted to step-up a nock to bigger things and wants to cause more destruction. She seemed to interested greatly in the movements of both F4 and Robotnik, both being interesting groups that seem to share the same dislike for the 'current' world. Weapons - Aqua 'Star' Wand - A special wand made for Beth by given to her by Nathin, he had ordered it for her. The wand has a small detailed star at the top that her mother gave her, surrounded in a dark blue orb that looks like water. It has two black fabric ropes with frilled ends, coming from just under the blue orb, that is just a bit longer then the wand itself. Its often carried under her dress, behind her backs to perverse her 'defenseless' appearance. Magic - Water - Master - Beth's water magic relies on her small more quicker spells for defense, while for offense using a mixture of stats and brute offensive attack power to finish it off. Her most favorite move is 'Eternal Aqua Claw'. -Since Beth is a master I list out the moves and there skill level since she is only allowed ONE master attack.- Eternal Aqua Claw - Magic Weapon - Advanced - The formation of a large aqua claw on her right arm and wand. It is a three-finger claw, made of water that mimics her right arms movements. It can extend outward for about four yards beyond Beth, and at full size is about Beth's height. The claw isn't effective for injuring someone but acts as her primary defense and offense to counter melee fighters. She can cause impacts by used pressured water strikes for strong 'thrust' attacks but since its water it will only 'push' people around and can not pierce, but its primary ability to grab the target's upper body, by using two fingers of the claw to latch over the targets shoulder and create powerful directional current *that pushes them forward*, while the palm creates a directional current forward effectively pinning the victim and (if held long enough) putting them to sleep by them having to breath the water. It could be used to slow down a melee attack, but is completely useless ageist ranged attacks. The move does have several problems, it still requires a wand that means if during the spell if the wand is knocked out of her hand (often inside the claw) the spell will end. The claw itself is still water making it still easy to escape from, push through it, and disrupt as you can still hit the wand even though she had water around it. Beth cannot use any other magic while its in use (since her wand is already being used for this spell). In order for a person to be 'caught' they have to be facing Beth. If a person is caught, it is still easily possible to escape through the sides (as the claw itself IS only water). The claw does take a good deal of magical stamina, as Beth will often only use it for at most a minute. Her max time with this is about five minutes before she comes magically exhausted. Tidal Abyss - Massive Storm Attack - Master - Beth's master skill, her most deadly attack. It takes an two entire post/moment to prepare (by chanting) but once done it is an attack to be feared. She creates a high-speed water twister about two stories high around herself that gradually expands to about three yards diameter (with her in center). The twister throws water everywhere at incredible speed, making a drop of water do damage of that of a good rock by pure force for three seconds and ends with the twister contracts back to her with the water suddenly stopping and coming down to form a medium tidal wave from her outward, that goes for about ten yards before dieing down to nothing. The most can only be performed once and brings Beth's stamina down to complete exhaustion. The move requires her to chant and have her wand. Beth can also be easily shot during the move as the twister offers no 'real' protection from projectiles. The move has a blind spot, if the target is directly above her during the launch of the move, they would be in the 'eye' of the storm and completely out of harms way. Water Block - Massive Directional Defense 'Block' - Intermediate - A massive block of water. It take one turn to prepare but once launched it creates an artificial 'block' of water, about five feet tall and five wide. The block has an active flow of water in it, making it that anything that is pushed inside is pushed out by the force. The block is thick enough, and due to the internal force from the block, can effectively stop projectiles. However, it takes a good sum of magical power to maintain the 'Block' and its current and therefore Beth can only case it about three times before become exhausting. She can maintain a 'block' for about two minutes before it will break down and Beth will be forced to remake another. Like Beth's other spells, she cannot cause any other magic as long as 'Water Block' is still in use. The block itself doesn't move once castled therefore even if Beth moves away from the block it will still stay where it is. The block can only effectively block projectiles if it goes the full distance through the block (5 feet), projectiles that come in the angles or the sides will more then likely still go through with minor power loss. Higher calbur bullets above 9mm, can go through with only mild speed loss as well. It also obstructs view of both Beth and her opponent. Hydro Dragon Spike - 1 Heavy Piercing-Hit - Advanced - After charging for one whole post, Beth unleashes a powerful but thin super focused hydro pump attack from the tip of her wand. The highly focused hydro has a range of 50 yards before losing its effect but it is powerful enough to pierce equal to that of an armor-pricing bullet. The beam last only for a three seconds per use, allowing her to move it (slowly) to make a moving hydro pump of death. Beth needs to use her wand, and like her other spells cannot cast another one while this is in use. She can move it while in use but in order for it to retain its effect, she must move the hydro pump (her wand) slowly, otherwise it will not retain its pressure and will be equal to that of a garden hose. The move itself doesn't cover aiming, therefore it entirely ups to Beth how to aim and as she is traditionally not a distance fighter by nature, her aim is not that impressive. She also is limited to 3 uses before she becomes too exhausted to perform another. Skills Aqua Manipulation - Advanced - Beth has a highly developed sense of water magic, to the point she can alter water on a scale that is above the normal magic. Her skill is to alter water's density. This allows her to perform moves like 'walking on water'. Her most noted skill as to use water to move, in fact she rarely moves herself but allows water under her feet to move her along. It doesn't affect her stats but it allows her to conserve her physical stamina. She is very skilled at this but can not make large scale 'water' based objects, her limit being at most a chair for her to sit in. This art however DOES NOT require her wand, but it does bit away at her stamina if used for long period of times. She can not alter her attacks with this skill but she can use them on herself *Etc, stand on water*. -NPC- Name: Nathin Kaln Age: 22 Gender: Male Eye Color: Red Race: Wolf Fur Color: Black & Gray Height: 5" 1' Weight: 139 Lbs Appearance: Brown baggy pants, with a simply baggy blue shirt and has a smile that no one would trust. He has black fur everywhere but his chest, which is entirely gray. He is often seen with a black fabric rope around his left arm, that dangles all the way down to his legs. He has gun holder is behind his waist, under his shirt. A long chain comes off the side of his gun holder, that has all holds three smoke grenades by their pins. he has a black almost tench coat that hides both his gun and his smoke grenades. Personality: Smart and calculating are two words to describe him. He appears dumb before Beth. but he merely goes along with her. He comes off as the last person someone would want to trust, for very good reasons. He does seem to have an exception from his normal to Beth. He gives a rare but small hint of protectiveness. History: Being saved by Beth, being dragged into robbing a bank for Beth. It at first seemed like a nightmare come true. He was being ordered by an eleven year old. However it quickly changed. He was smart but he didn't have the power to do much using it but Beth does. A partnership was easily formed, he would handle getting jobs to do and then they would do them, mostly Beth would do them. He got money and didn't even have to really work for it. He simply needed to weed out the bad jobs from the good one, and being the talker he is he was very good at it. He likes Beth position and talent, and from his current position he see no reason to go anywhere else. The pay is good, he doesn't do any of the REAL hard work and best yet Beth doesn't mind it that way. He couldn't figure a better position to be in, a boss who pays you well and doesn't mind you never doing the hard work. He has learned to put up with both sides of Beth's personality rather well, being talkative and give giving when she is in a playful tone and most of the time only confirming and agreeing with the objective side. He enjoys it very much, as he seems to have figured out when she switches, and because of that he can be ready for either side of Beth. He got the wand for Beth's magic only a little while into their dealings. He wanted to make sure she would be properly equipped to use her magic. He placed her pendent in the sphere on the top of the wand. He almost got killed for taking the pendent in the first place but Beth forgave him almost instantly when she got the wand. He knew it would only help keep her attached to him somewhat, as he didn't want to lose this easy way in life, hence why he is very careful of what jobs Beth gets, and which ones she won't get. He seems a bit more stable in life now, and sometimes is mistake as her 'bodyguard', which to both Beth and him, is a joke. HK USP Compact Tactical Pistol - Handgun - Nathin uses this more refined gun, he managed to buy one using some of the money he has earned with his 'job' with Beth. It uses 9 mm bullets with each clip having 13 rounds. Nathin carries his extra clips often in his legs pockets of his pants, often having four clip in clips (five if you count the on already in the gun). He has the additions for his tactical as well but he only uses them or puts them on if he feels they are needed. -See Special Moves- Smoke Grenades - 3 Pack - Nathin has a string of three smoke grenades that hangs on a chain, with every pin on the chain. Nathin simply has to yank it off the chain and the pin is pulled. Ranged - Intermediate - Nathin at first was just decent with a gun but it seems he has practiced since joining up with Beth, he doesn't have anything very special, and he doesn't consider himself very good but he feels safer even if he isn't very good. Suppressor - Attachment - Nathin always carries the suppressor with him, simply cause he never knows when he'll need to shot someone and not attract attention. It drastically reduces the sound the gun would normally make if fired without. It takes a moment to screw the additional barrel onto the front of the gun, as well as take off. Nathin isn't as accurate with the extra weight on the gun, or adjusting to the suppressor. Laser Sight - Attachment - Nathin also has a laser sight, for long aiming as well as intimidation reasons. It is easy to intimidate someone when a laser sight is pointed at this and a gun connected to it. It takes a moment to mount it under the barrel of the gun, and another moment to sit it properly. It makes it so Nathin can aim with better accuracy then normally. The laser sight can also give away his location when used at a distance, and is a dead give away to people when he has them in his sights. Smoke Bomb - Escape Tactic - Nathin take a smoke grenade and throw it upward and fire a round from his USP to cause the smoke grenade to explode. The smoke, since it comes out all at once, is thick and is way to thick to make out anything at a distance. However, unlike a normal smoke grenade, it will disappear faster making it often only enough to block everyone's sight for at most two turns, depending on if they are outside or inside. (1 turn for outside, and 2 for inside.) |
