[Nail Strafer]

Nail stared at Giichi. He hated to admit it but those were some good points. But he couldn't shake the feeling that even taking Giichi's observations in mind, there might be something that the cat was missing. What could it be though? He just hated the idea of putting himself at the mercy of a larger power than his own. It sure didn't work out too well the last time he let that happen, when he temporarily allied with Priscilla.

"What was that about trying to hook up with the other Freedom Fighters?"

Gail asked, peering down into the circle of conversation over the top of Nail's and Giichi's heads. His huge height compared to the other two allowed him to easily look in over them.

Nail frowned. He hoped his father wouldn't blab loud enough for the Yudanese to hear.

"Don't talk too loud, Gail," he said, pointing discreetly at the Yudanese.

Gail sighed, hating to constantly be reminded about what he was doing wrong by Nail.

"Could you say that a little louder Gail, I don't think they heard you back on my home world!" Am hissed under his breath.

"seriously now though, do you think they would help?"

"By the stars, none of this makes sense!" Amero sighed, "even if the freedom fighters will help us, it's not like they're going to be able to get to us before these guys need an answer. I mean come on..."

"We should come up with a distraction so Rog can sneak out of signal, if we're still doing that, that is" Era interrupted, clearly irritated by the galaxy of unknowns swirling around.

"right, ideas?" Amiroo said.
