RE: Hiding Out
Tifa gave a small cough as she lowered herself slowly to the ground and stretched out her injured leg. "...Been better..." she replied quietly as she blinked hard. Her hands were shaking slightly now, the pain causing her body to experience a small degree of shock.
With a shaking hand she reached into her belt pouches and rummaged around for a moment. When she withdrew her hand she was holding a small vial, just one. She looked at it for a moment and then at Kazuki before holding the vial out towards Ajiryn. "Here, this will help numb her pain a little. At least, perhaps enough for her to walk with your help. You need to get her to a hospital quickly." Tifa took a deep breath, her free hand now pressed against the open wound on her thigh. She closed her eyes for a moment, giving a small smile. She could tell her two companions cared for each other, whether it was just a close friendship or something more didn't matter to her but she wanted to help them. She just wished that someone was there to help her too...but M was back in Station Square and even if he was here it was unlikely he'd find them. |

RE: Hiding Out
Ajiryn gave her a terse, but heartfelt smile, and took the vial. "T-thanks..." He eased the cap off, and gently wrapped his bandanna over the wounds,[/color] but Tifa's words struck him as quite a deterrent- but true. Looking at the situation, he didn't feel at all optimistic about this.
A group of three. None with any sort of actual healing or medical professions or abilities. Two of them wounded. Stuck in a run-down city with little activity, much less enough to warrant functionality of a hospital. His confidence fell just as fast as it had come back. "This isn't working out at all...!!" he said bitterly, pounding the ground out of frustration. It was almost as if he let her down by losing sight of her before... ---------- "You what?!" "You heard me! A promise needs somethin' special to mark it!" "But- but- why? It's just seems so silly." "It's not silly! It's a family tradition that's been done since the first of the Kajimoto line met with the beautiful maiden Maia! In just the same way, with a flower and a ring, he swore upon his life that he would protect her from any and all harm to ever threaten her being!!" "That's what kinda scares me, Kaz... And isn't that a little... um, deep? I mean, I'm only eight years-" "Nuh-uh nuh-uh, Aji! Everyone in my family, since then, has done it! How romantic!! A bond between a young boy and girl... Daddy even did the same with Mama!!! It's unique! It's tradition! It's romantic! It's-" "Okay, okay, I get it! But... isn't this the kinda thing that the adults do?!" "Because... because, your my friend! The bestest! And because it's a symbol of friendship like no other... And I wanna do this with you!" "I- I guess so. I mean- er, seems odd, but... o-okay!" "Really? Yaaaaaaay! I knew you were my best friend! But wait- once you make this promise, ya can't go back, nope nope nope! I'm only gonna give ya this flower if you really mean it!" "Okay, fine, whatever floats your boat. I, Ajiryn, do here forth, on the front lawn of your house-" "Be seeeeriooooous!" "-do , erm, swear on my life to protect and defend you from all evils n' stufff. And especially your dad, once he finds out we're up this late." "You could've said it better, but okay!" ---------- At the time, it seemed as if it were only for fun. Nothing more than something to entertain an extremely young, bored, and hyper vixen. But now that she was here, shot down and bleeding, that promised felt as genuine as ever to Ajiryn. |
