[Nail Strafer]

Underneath the helmet, the ranger gave a little sigh. Stormer's reply wasn't very encouraging. A kid who took one karate class could claim to know martial arts, but that didn't mean he could fight.

However, the ranger surmised that if he kept trying to fight alone, this would be the end. Stuffing his gloved hand into the pouch, he withdrew two items that looked like gold bracelets.

"Okay then! Put these on both of your arms, and then cross them. Call out 'Cat Changer, power up!'"

The ranger quickly thrust them into Stormer's hands. Fortunately for the both of them, these minions appeared to have stopped to do do their 'dance around the heroes' routine instead of, you know, attacking.

Giichi continued to watch from behind the bushes. He eyed the bracelets curiously, wondering what the purpose of them could be. Are those their morphers?

[By the way, you still need to post as Sonic in Something New. I know Stormer's left that topic, but Sonic's still in there. I think everyone's waiting for you.]

[Stormer Aurion]

Stormer had a stunned look on his face, but realized what to do. He took the bracelets, put them on and yelled, "Cat Changer, Power Up!", as he crossed his arms.

[Morphing sequence time!]
Stormer's body was covered in a white light, as he stretched his arms outward. A projection of a black panther ran past his body, leaving behind a black spandex suit with long, white, claw-like gloves and boots, and a cat's claw emblem on his chest. A black helmet, shaped like a panther's head materialized over his face, and a visor formed over his eyes. "Pantherranger!" Stormer was now morphed into a black Ranger.

When the dust cleared, Stormer looked at his new form. "No way.", he said, "I'm a sentai hero."

[I'll take care of Sonic ASAP.]

"No way!" Giichi stood up from his hiding place behind the bushes, his jaw wide open. "This is real!"

Unless they've just figured out how to do the morphing sequence live, which I highly doubt.

Giichi suddenly covered his face, his eyes shooting open and alarm.

And that means these minions are real too, and I just yelled out loud so they know where I am. Genius, Giichi.

He quickly ducked back down behind the bushes.

Meanwhile, the red ranger hoped he'd made the right choice, as he shimmied back into a fighting stance. The little break had given him some time to recover. He just hoped it was the right decision giving that morpher to this human. While staring down the evil minions, he glanced off to the side at his new ally.

"Okay, are you ready to fight, stranger?"

[Stormer Aurion]

[I'm gonna have the mooks be called Hadeons if you don't mind. I'm also assuming each ranger has his/her own unique weapon and mine will be an axe.]

With a confident smirk underneath his helmet, he replied, "You bet I am. Let's do this!" A small group of Hadeons charged right at Stormer as the new black ranger readied his weapon: a small one-handed ax. The Hadeons lept right at him, but got a swift chop to their chests. "Let's see what these powers can do!", said Stormer, "Come at me!"

[Don't worry, I'm glad they have a name now. I was getting tired of calling them minions. By the way, don't forget to have them attack my characters. They're under your control, so I can't make them do what I want to in my posts. It's hard to make posts without anything to react to.]

Typical of most red rangers, this red ranger whipped out a sword and jogged back into the fight. He made a downward horizontal slash at one of the Hadeons as he approached, before cutting back up as he ran past.

Suddenly, a small group of Hadeons caught sight of Giichi and charged right at him! "Look out!", Stormer yelled.

[Don't forget to say how the hadeons are attacking Lionranger and Pantherranger. Generally, you need to cover all characters in every post in a fight scene.]

Giichi continued to crouch behind the bushes, until he noticed that the "minions" were rushing him. With the live ranger morph, he doubted that these were just guys in suits. They sure wouldn't break the script just to attack him. With that, Giichi whirled around, running as fast as he could to get away from the fight.

Meanwhile, Lionranger spotted the small sand cat fleeing from the battle. Could it be a coincidence? He had a Cat Changer for Sandranger here as well.

"Kid! Catch!"

Giichi whirled around, surprised that the red ranger had called out to him. Before he knew what was happening, two small golden, bracelet-like objects came flying through the air right at him. He handily caught them. For a second, he was in too much disbelief to do anything. But then the realization hit him like a ton of bricks.

Real rangers, real minions...and now a real morpher. I can't believe this.

In any case, with these weird skeleton dudes rushing him, he guessed he should probably do what he was thinking. Crossing his arms, he called out "Cat Changer! Power up!"

A projection of a sandcat rushed past him, leaving in a similar yellow spandex suit to the new Pantherranger's suit. A helmet shaped like a sand cat formed over his head, completing the uniform. Giichi looked down at his gloved hands, in complete disbelief at what had just happened. He was now fulfilling one of his childhood fantasies...becoming a sentai hero.

In any case, the Hadeons were still charging him, so he reached down for his weapons. He pulled a sai out of each holster, and prepared to face the oncoming group of enemies.

"All right! Another ranger! This'll turn the tide!", said Stormer as he saw Giichi's new ranger form. The three rangers proceeded to clobber the Hadeons. Stormer was running through groups of them, chopping them down with a blow of his axe. The Hadeons that were chasing Giichi readied their deformed swords at him, but Giichi used his sais to snap their swords in two, and proceeded to stab away at them. Lionranger, though weakened, managed to cut away a decent number of Hadeons with his sword as he limped around the battlefield. After a decent battle, the Hadeons were all beaten and disappeared into purple fire. "Looks like that's all of them.", said a relieved Stormer.

Meanwhile, back in Tartarus...

"What is this? New rangers? How can this be?", said a furious Chronos.

"I don't know, my lord. But let's see how they do against a giant-sized Lizfalos!", said Prometheus. He raised up his hand, and created a blue fireball, saying, "Fires of rebirth, fires of destruction, make this monster grow to fight!"

The fireball was sent to a field near the park, and once it hit the ground, a column of blue flame erupted from the ground. When it stopped, in it's place was a giant-sized Lizfalos!

[Sorry, but I think I confused you with my last OOC comment. I don't want you to literally control every character in the fight scene. I just want you to make sure that every PLAYER character has something to respond to, by positioning your own bad guy characters. Anyway, let's move on.]

"They're sending in the monster fully grown, already?!" Lionranger gazed upwards at the creature, exasperated at how quickly the bad guys were escalating the battle.

"Yeah, don't they usually send them in small first?" Giichi mentioned off to the side.

Lionranger turned to the sand cat, with his jaw gaping open but hidden behind the mask.

"What?! How do you know their tactics? I only just gave you that morpher!"

"Uhhh...." Giichi looked off to the side, as he rubbed the back of his head with a free hand. "Well, it's a long story. Maybe we should focus on beating the monster down first, right?"

Despite wanting more answers, Lionranger supposed he was right. "Okay then. Throw your hands up to the sky, and copy me."

And with that, Lionranger cast his hands to the heavens, and cried out the activation phrase.

"Cat Zords, descend!"

[Sorry about that, Nail. Won't happen again. I'm assuming we each control our zords as well.]

Stormer held his hands to the sky and did likewise. "Cat Zords, descend!"

One by one, three large mechanical cats descended from the heavens above: A red lion, a yellow sandcat, and a black panther. Stormer lept into the air, as a beam of light came from the large panther's head, and he was teleported into the cockpit. "Let's get this overgrown lizard!" He grabbed onto the twin joysticks in front of him, and prepared for battle.
