Okay, so I just had to remake the account for this character, due to the fact that even though I just made a post about an hour ago, it was deleted. If this was an admin action, why? If not, can one of you guys look into it to see why it happened? I'm afraid to post anything again because I don't want to see it be deleted all over again...

That's odd. The same thing happened with Shaz's profile. Is there something wrong with the system?

I don't think Shaz lost his posts when his account was deleted though. And I dont have the permissions to PM anyone right not to ask a mod directly.

I can't find any reason the account would get deleted, nor do I see any recent edits to the user profile. I unfortunately do not see any reason the account would have been deleted nor do I see any record of it being deleted. Where was the post you first made? What topic? When did you post it?

I posted it roughly two hours ago in the Soleanna section, titled "Something New." It was this character's introduction into the world.

I will say that I did have some email filters and IP filters set up as a stop gap until Viper took care of the spambot problem. It looks like we may not need them now so I've removed all the filters in case this was the source of the deleted account problem.

By the way, your account is approved again so go ahead and post.

Well the last edit record I got for the non-existent account now was Nail's edit yesterday. After that the account disappears. The only reason I found it is because of logging and the fact the ID he edits 'does not exist' anymore on the board.

Nail, what the heck did you edit?

Viper, I don't mean I literally approved the same account twice. I just approved this new Zyra account that Alpha just made.

No, I'm referring to the account you edited yesterday. The account approved today was 'created' today. You could not have approved an account that did not exist till today. The file you edited yesterday was in fact the account that reportedly 'disappeared'.

I know cause the primary key for the file you edited yesterday was #35801 but the file today for Zyra is #35803. I suspect I know what is going on but I wanted to double check. If the post count was reset (which you can do) it might cause it be deleted.

Likely what happening to the accounts is the user pruning is removing them. This is because it has a two day restriction. You have two days to confirm email and then two days to make 3 posts before the system assumes you are a bot and deletes the account (along with all posts). If the account has not been approved yet then the post limit does not count till after its approved (confirming your email). I adjusted the post limit to 14 days instead to avoid this in the future. I'm leaving the two day limit on email confirm though.
