Shazbot
Here is the re-submission of my character sheet, so that when you move it it will be under my name, and I'll be able to edit it.

I have arrived, bringing with me an ancient mary-sue OC that I used to run with back on Ye Olde Middle Ground. I've kind of abandoned it over the years, but that doesn't mean I haven't been refining the backstory to a point where it doesn't suck. Probably.

Name: Shazbot (Shaz'rael)

Age: 21

Sex: Undeniably MAN.

Species: Cyborg Echidna

Faction: Council of Soleanna

Alignment: Neutral Good

Appearance:

(wow, I haven't looked at those in YEARS...)

Personality: If asked, he would say he's the sort of person that defies description. In truth, he is a very insecure echidna who hides behind bravado and tacky humor. On the surface he appears to take nothing seriously, treating life as one big comedy and prancing through it with a song on his lips and a skip in his step. He generally avoids relationships with others and goes out of his way to isolate himself. He hates crowds, and often wishes to be left alone. Among those he calls friends he is boisterous and loud, seeking to improve the morale of any group no matter the situation. Always seeking to help others, he avoids rewards and payment, shrugging such things off as "what anyone would do." Shaz adores children, and never hesitates to make a fool of himself for their enjoyment. Some might say he has no pride, and in a way they are right. His sense of self-worth is tied to the happiness he is able to bring to others, and he generally has a very low opinion of himself. He often acts outside the social curve, stating the obvious and pointing out the emperor's lack of apparel. When in a fowl mood, he becomes very sarcastic. He is prone to the occasional fit of depression, but he always bounces back cheerier than ever. His motto is "nothing is ever so bad that time cannot mend it." He abhors murder and child cruelty as the two most heinous crimes anyone can commit, and his usually relaxed, forgiving nature has been known to give way to uncontrollable rage when faced with such things.

Family: Shazbot has no known relatives, though it is rumored he has a sister.

Transport: When he snubbed the Dark Legion, he stole one of their airships, a large, battleship-sized vessel with powerful engines and a respectable arsenal of anti-ship weapons. However, it is currently crashed on the coast and in dire need of repair before any attempt can be made to fly it. It needs a new power source, a replacement fusion coil, and navigation software bare-minimum just to make it off the ground. It also needs a new starboard cannon, renovations to the crew quarters and mess hall, several thousand square feet of armor plating, and ammunition for all the weapons. (Which include a port cannon, two chaser cannons, one aft cannon, a foreward-facing Ion Beam, and five 45mm gun turrets. (Two fore, Two aft, one on the under belly)
Minimum crew to fly: 6 (two in the engine room, 4 on the bridge, including the captain)
Full crew compliment: 45 (10 cannon operaters, 5 gunners, 5 engineers, 10 maintenance, 5 officers, 1 captain, 4 mess hall operators, 5 specialists.)
Passenger space: 15
Contained in the ship's docking bay is a small shuttle, capable of making short flights and able to carry 3 passengers and a small amount of cargo. It has been modified by Shazbot to use the False Emerald as a power source. It can only be flown while Shaz is present, or else when he has parted with the emerald.

Weapons: Shazbot's body IS his weapon. His skeleton is laced with metal, and his fists are as strong as iron. He keeps himself modular enough to make adjustments to fit any situation. Most notably his arm can transform into a variety of configurations. The two he currently runs with are arm cannons, dubbed the "Green Buster" and "Orange Buster".
The Green Buster works much like an air cannon, except you swap out the air for pure energy. Extremely short-range, this shotgun blast has a lot of stopping power, but inflicts little damage. Its wide blast radius allows it to hit multiple targets, even passing through targets in front to hit those in back for half the effect. An unusal quirk of the Green Buster is that it ignores armor and other solid objects, projecting the vibrations from the blast through the target and beyond, until the energy hits its natural half-life and dissipates. This means that against soft targets (like mobians) it has little to no effect beyond knocking them off their feet. However, it has been known to shatter delicate components within machines, and inflicts strong, reliable damage against heavily-armored foes. (like robots)
The Orange Buster works more like a traditional rifle, firing in a semi-automatic fashion with reliable accuracy at mid-long range. The bolts of pure energy this gun fires are about the size of a marble, and when traveling through the air the leave a trail of light in their wake. Upon impact these shots have a splash effect, transferring all their impact momentum into the target while exploding like a tiny firework. As such, these bullets do not ricochet, and can cause 3rd degree burns. The bullets always explode on any impact for any reason, so firing this gun in a rainstorm is almost pointless.

Biography: Shazbot was born Shaz'rael of the Knuckle Tribe, and in his timeline he grew up a normal echidna, with the time of Eggman long passed and the Acorn royal line having held the throne for over a century. His family moved to the city of Knothole to further his education, much to the chagrin of his elders, who wished him to have a proper military upbringing. When he was 19, he and his parents participated in the grand unveiling of a new machine, a clean, renewable power generator capable of producing its own chaos emeralds. However, something went horribly wrong, and the machine exploded, devastating a large portion of the city. When the disaster relief crews ventured into the center of the blast radius, they found one survivor, miraculously spared by the enormous blast. However, his injuries were many and life-threatening, and by the time they got him to a hospital the doctors were questioning how such a pitiful creature had managed to remain alive. In the end, he lost both his feet, his left leg, his right arm, and the entire left side of his face, including his eye.

When he awoke, he was the picture of despair. The doctors offered prosthetic replacements, and the king paid him a visit to honor everyone who lost their lives in the tragic accident, but nothing could bring him out the dark pit which he found himself in. Then one day he was approached by an echidna named Rimgar. He was the current leader of the Dark Legion, an ancient group still regarded as fanatics and technophiles by the general public. He offered Shaz a chance to participate in an experimental procedure to unite machine and mobian into one powerful whole. Shaz'rael, feeling he had nothing else to lose, took the offer and became a member of the Dark Legion.
The operation was traumatic, but successful. In the end he emerged a new echidna, and formerly changed his name to "Shazbot" to fit his new mechanical appearance. He became an advocate for cybernetic enhancements, helping Rimgar further the Dark Legion's agenda by spreading their doctrine of perfection through technology. However, everything fell apart when, one night at Dark Legion HQ, Shaz stumbled across a sealed vault filled with evidence of the Legion's secret dealings with the criminal underground and the black market. Of greatest note was the strangley-colored emerald in a small case next to a box of computer chips. The chips turned out to be flash memory of a deal involving the power machine that was the source of the accident. An order by one of the company's competitors called for the sabotage of the machine and the recovery of a sample in order to replicate it for themselves. Apparently, the unintended meltdown and the existence of a survivor caused everyone to get cold feet and the deal went bad, and the emerald was never handed over. Also contained in the chips were all the research notes and blueprints for the original machine.
Shazbot, now filled with rage at his new-found friends, copied all the data to his personal memory banks and smashed the chips. Shattering the glass, he snatched up the false emerald and stashed it in a small cavity in his chest. Before he could leave, he was confronted by Rimgar, who was no longer charismatic as he saw what Shaz had done. He reached for his personal sidearm, but Shazbot was faster, changing his arm to a gun and pointing it at the deceptive echidna. Rimgarr merely grinned and said "You won't kill me. I made you." For a moment, it looked as though Shaz might back down. Rimgar noticed this as well, and tried to draw his gun, firing from the hip. The shot went wide, and the shock caused Shazbot to shoot, punching a fist-sized hole through his assailant's chest.
Mortified by what he'd done, but with no time to dwell on it, Shaz made a run for it. He dashed out of Dark Legion HQ, never stopping or looking back. With his cybernetic body he could run far longer than any ordinary mobian, so it was no surprise when he found himself on the edge of the city, near the ruin of the old blast crater. Stopping for a moment to collect his thoughts, he reached into his chest and pulled out the strange emerald. There was a dull light emanating from within, and the more he stared at it, the farther away the rest of the world seemed. He glanced around and spotted an airship, docked at a small depot next to the crater. It had the sign of the Dark Legion, and seemed to be undergoing some minor repairs. Thinking he'd like nothing better than to hinder their schemes, he snuck aboard, where he found the ship itself largely abandoned. He single-handedly managed to get the ship in the air, but without a crew there was little he could do to control it. It also seemed that the "minor" repairs were being done to the plasma coil, which was left behind at the depot when he hijacked the ship. In no time at all alarms were blaring and the ship seemed about to crash. Suddenly there was a light, like the one shining forth from the emerald, and instead of flying nose-first into the city, Shaz seemed to be heading towards a sandy beach. Having appeared so close to the ground, the ship didn't have very far to fall before grinding to a halt on the coast.
Later, Shazbot found his way to Robotropolis, where he met up with a group of freedom fighters. Out of place and out of time, he seeks a place to settle down and stay out of the way.

Moves/Combat Style: (I'm a big LoL fan, so I'll detail my abilities in League style.)
Abilities:
Green Buster: Fires a shot-gun-like blast in a cone shaped pattern from the tip of the barrel. (Range: 5 feet. Spread: 4 feet.) Inflicts minor damage and knocks opponents and objects back, up to five feet. (affected by size, weight, etc.) Passes through anything in its path, dealing half-damage and inflicting half the knockback whenever it does so. Deals 250% damage to machines. En cost: 8 per shot.
Orange Buster: A mid-long range rifle attack. Fires incendiary bullets that explode on contact with any object, regardless of size or density. Inflicts burn damage, and is accurate up to 75 yards. (125 yards when using the "Cyborg Perception" skill) Fires in three-round bursts. En cost: 2 per shot.
Hologuise: Using a built-in hologram projector, Shaz can disguise himself as any other mobian of similar height and build. The disguise is not perfect, as the hologram is merely bent light particles, and therefore not solid. A close inspection will reveal the truth, and the projector will overheat if used for more than 5 minutes at a time. Shaz must have used his "Cyborg Perception" skill on a target in order to disguise himself as that person, but any person he has scanned this way is stored in his memory banks, ready to be recalled when needed. If used to imitate someone whose build is drastically different from his own, the result will be a comically proportioned caricature of the target. After each use, it must take 30 minutes to purge the projection chamber of ambient light particles, or else it runs the risk of imprinting previous projections onto the crystal. (A crystal with a partial image burned into it would result in, say, a hedgehog's face on a squirrel's body.) New crystals are expensive, so care must always be taken when operating it. Additionally, while it is in use the energy required for his other abilities is doubled. Costs no energy, and can be used any number of times per day.
Rocket Slam: Activates the small rockets in his feet to propel Shaz at high speed, using his considerable weight to tackle his target at maximum speed. Can hit multiple targets if they are in the impact zone. En cost: 10
Gravity Field: Drops a small round probe that hovers in place, targeting any enemy that comes within 3 feet of it and increasing gravity's effect on it by 1.25 times, slowing the target considerably and hindering their ability to fight. Especially large or heavy enemies will sustain minor damage when affected. The probe has enough power to remain for up to 10 seconds, after which it must recharge for at least an hour. It has a smart targeting system, so allies who enter the field will not be affected. Shaz is able to carry up to 2 probes at once. They must be recovered after each battle, and charge automatically when not in use. En cost: 15
Grapple Hand: Shaz extends the length of his cyborg arm up to 20 (About 35 feet) times its length, reaching out to grasp an object or opponent. Once the target has been grabbed, he yanks it back to within 5 feet of his current position. He then proceeds to hold his target with an iron grip, until he either releases them or they break the hold. While in this grip, the target is free to move and attack like normal, but they cannot travel more than 5 feet away from Shazbot without breaking the hold. (Grip strength is roughly equal to that of a bodybuilder.) While he has an opponent locked down, Shaz cannot use any of his abilities (except his emerald burst) and he cannot regenerate health or charge extra energy. Otherwise, he can move and attack like normal, pounding away at his opponent or dragging them away from the fight. The ability costs 5 energy, plus 5*the subsequent number of his turns he keeps an opponent locked down.
Team Blast: Shazbot has a hard time forming relationships, and although he works well with others, he lacks the trust necessary for a full combination attack. If he ever met anyone that could reach through his barriers, he might be able to pull something spectacular out of his hat.
Emerald Burst; Iron Juggernaut: Calling upon the power of the false emerald, Shaz supercharges himself for 30 seconds (5 turns), drastically reducing the damage he takes and increasing his own power output. He also loses the forced shutdown from his "Should've Used Duracells" weakness for the duration of the ability, and gains an additional 5 energy at the start of hist turn.
Skills:
Cyborg Perception: As a minor action, Shaz can concentrate his cyborg eye on a single target, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and overall status. While concentrating, he loses track of things around him, and if distracted the result will be an incomplete scan. He can use this ability on a variety of objects, machines, etc. to learn more about them. Scanned people/objects are saved to his personal databanks until deleted.
Jack In: Using a number of small chords and wires from his metal dreadlocks, Shabzot can log into any computer, projecting an avatar of himself into cyberspace. From here, he can explore the cyber-world, traveling through the system as through he were infiltrating a building. This enables much faster computer slicing/repair than normal. He can connect himself to any number of robot or cyborg allies to bring them with him into cyberspace. While jacked in, he is completely unresponsive, and cannot move or take any actions in the real world without logging out first. Shaz can also connect himself to any computer without "jacking in", and instead project the screen directly into his eye, enabling him to make other actions like normal.
Nanomachines: When injured, Shaz enjoys accelerated healing and a degree of damage resistance from sources such as fire and electricity. As a free action, Shaz can activate the nanomachines in his bloodstream to recover 1.5% of his health every few seconds. (3% over the course of two major actions, or a full turn) He generates these naturally, but only has enough in his blood to recover up to 50% of his health per day. A full night's rest replenishes all nanomachines. Additionally, so long as he has any nanomachines in his blood, the duration of poisons, burns, and paralysis are decreased by 35%.
Warrior Poet: Shaz has a rather big mouth, and BOY does he like to use it! Shouting out songs, excerpts from great speeches, and zippy one-liners, any allies within earshot gain slight boosts to their attacks, evasions, and defenses. (Shaz can affect himself with this skill.) Alternatively, he says unspeakably horrible things to any opponent who crosses his path, seeking to anger them and trick them into attacking him. Sometimes, this works too well for his own good...

Strengths:
Sturdy: A metal skeleton and thick skin reduce the damage inflicted on Shazbot by a small amount, as well as making him harder to knock prone or render unconscious.
Gearhead: Machines and other mechanical devices are second nature to Shaz, enabling him to repair broken machines and inflict extra damage against robotic opponents. Before he goes to sleep, he often makes minor adjustments to his modular frame, improving abilities and reducing the strain on his system.
Outside the Box: Shaz is crazy, or at least, that's what he'd like you to think. Utilizing off the wall tactics, he is harder to predict than most, enabling him to confuse opponents and get the drop on them.
Defender: Shaz often steps in to block for his allies, using his strong, sturdy body to protect them from harm.
Perceptive: Shaz can often quickly reach a solution to even the most baffling problems, and in combat he will blurt things out, almost without thinking. He is perceptive enough to catch what others miss, and likes to keep his allies informed of new developments.

Weaknesses:
Slow: Being so heavy, Shaz cannot even attain a decent running speed without the aid of his shoe rockets. Because of this, he has a hard time dodging attacks, and quick opponents give him trouble even on a good day.
Can't Swim!: Shaz has a small air tank with enough air to keep him alive for 2 minutes. Beyond that, he is helpless in liquid environments, sinking like a rock and being unable to use his abilities.
Suicidal: Shazbot runs on low morale pretty much all the time, and while this means he won't often break and run from combat, it does mean he is liable to throw himself in front of the enemy with no avenue of escape. Whenever his morale hits zero, he will attempt a heroic sacrifice rather than flee.
Undisciplined: Shaz has no formal combat training, having relied on improvisation and quick-thinking to get him this far. His hand-to-hand fighting ability, while bolstered by cybernetics, is little more than schoolyard brawling. Skilled opponents can easily overpower him in a straight fight.
Should've Used Duracells: Shaz has a limited power source, which is replenished by the false emerald. His base maximum energy (En) is 50. At the beginning of each of his turns (before resolving other actions, conditions, etc.), he automatically regains 5 En. If his En ever hits zero for any reason, he ceases all action and enters a shut-down state. While in this state, he cannot dodge or defend himself, and any damage from any source will be enough to knock him prone. At the beginning of his next turn, he must spend his first action "booting up". During this boot-up process he cannot make any other free or minor actions. If he was knocked prone, he must spend another major action getting to his feet before he can resume combat as normal. If he wishes, he can spend his entire turn Charging. Doing so precludes any other actions, and he cannot regenerate health while doing so. If he does, he starts his next turn with an additional 10 En (15 total).

Other info: The False Emerald is a machine manufactured prototype that has the same general properties as a real emerald, with only a fraction of the power output. It cannot be used with other emeralds to allow a character to go "super", and in fact has a unique energy signature that only Shazbot knows how to tap into or tune machines to accept. Another character could learn to use it, but it would take a lot of practice. It does not enable chaos control or any other known chaos ability.

The False Emerald is his primary power source; should he ever part with it, he loses his En regeneration and En charge, and enters combat with the same En level as last time. If his energy is depleted and he enters his shut-down state, he will reboot on emergency back-up power, and his En level will be 1. He can reboot any number of times with this method, but he cannot use any abilities whose cost exceed his En level. (Which basically leaves none usable.) He can recharge from other sources (batteries, conduits, etc.) but cannot do so during combat. When he gets a full-night's rest, he still recovers his health, but only recharges to a maximum of half (currently 25) of his total En.

Shazbot's chest contains an empty space large enough for the False Emerald, but when it's not placed there he can store other things as well.

When Shazbot is critically injured, he requires the aid of both a medic AND a mechanic in order to return to full fighting strength. He can perform such duties for himself (if he's conscious) but he will require a full night (eight hour rest) to heal.

All of Shazbot's gauges, tanks, and abilities can be upgraded over time using his "Gearhead" skill. Things like higher maximum En, greater Hp regeneration, more nanomachines per day, and reduced En costs are all possible. He can only upgrade one aspect of one ability/skill per night, and only in small increments. (For instance, +5 to his maximum En, or +.5% health restored per major action while regenerating, or -1 to the En cost of a weapon or ability.) He cannot upgrade the same thing twice in a row. Upper limits for major upgrades are as follows: no more than 100 max En, no more than 150% max Nanomachines per day, no more than a 50% reduction in En cost for any weapon, no more than 4% health regeneration per action (8% total possible per turn), no more than 10 En regeneration per turn, and no more than 50% reduction on the durations of burns, poisons, and paralysis.

No one knows how Shazbot would react if he ever came into contact with a real Chaos/Sol Emerald; he might never need another power source again, or he might go totally nuts. He's never encountered one before, so there's no telling what could happen...
