Recovery Mission - Rampage - 05-03-2012 02:45 PM After a few hours worth of work, Rampage smiled in satisfaction as the final preparations were completed for their trip back to Angel Island. All things considered, the ship they would be taking was not altogether insignificant. Certainly no where near the size of Robotnik's factory ship to be sure, but large enough to carry about a half-dozen heavy lifting bots that Rampage intended to use to clear away the landslide blocking the tunnel entrance to their old mining operation. Luckily, the large bulldozers they abandoned back on the island were probably still there, meaning one less thing they could use to clear the debris; and with the benefit of not having to take them with him. More than anything, he wanted to avoid drawing any more unwanted attention than necessary. This whole mission was to simply recover a burrowing tank after all. At it's rawest level, the plan was to simply swoop in, dig up the tank, recover it and get out as quickly as possible. He wanted that tank, and he would get it. As for the other objective to this mission, he planned to make full use of the video records he collected from the factory ship to learn all he could about these Freedom Fighters. Those videos were already uploaded onto the ships computers for him and Tatsu to watch while the Auto-pilots fly the ship. Alright, ships all loaded up and ready to go. Ready to go?" Rampage inquired to Tatsu. RE: Recovery Mission - Tatsuhiro - 05-06-2012 03:58 AM “As ready as I’ll ever be.” He replied. His mind had briefly thought of his still injured knee-cap. But considering this was only to pick up one of the Doctor’s left-behind equipment, he wasn’t too worried about the injury. He supposed if he rested it, it might be better by the time they got there in case the worst happened. Sitting down in one of the chairs, he propped his legs up on the edge of a consol. This wasn’t exactly what he had been expecting, but it was better than still doing nothing. And who knows? Perhaps they’ll find something the Doc missed. Wait… “-Did anyone get the shard off the deer?” He asked aloud as he looked at Rampage. He’d almost forgotten. Since he was put out of commission, he forgot to tell someone about it. Realizing that the answer was most likely a no, he turned his head back forward and looked to the screen. “ Damn. I knew I forgot something…” RE: Recovery Mission - Rampage - 05-06-2012 05:01 PM "That deer had a shard?" Rampage replied in surprise as he strapped himself in for take-off. "How would you know if he'd had a shard or not?" He momentarily wondered if maybe the answer was in the videos. Intrigued as he was, there was still a mission to perform. So while he waited for Tatsu's reply, Rampage began making final preparations for their departure. With a final press of a button, their ship lifted off into the sky and jetted away back towards Angel Island. RE: Recovery Mission - Tatsuhiro - 05-08-2012 12:07 PM He gave him a questionable look. Almost as though the answer should have been obvious. But as he thought, it suddenly occurred to him. “Ah. I forgot. Not many people can sense the energy of the emeralds.” He somewhat answered, as he strapped himself into the chair. “When I was fighting the group on the beach, I sensed the energy on’em. Would of gotten it, if it wasn’t for that wolf-guy shooting me in my open wound. Could’ve kept on fightin’, but I’m useless if I can’t run; and my head was go’in fuzzy from the blood-loose.” Tatsuhiro sounded very bitter when he mentioned the wolf. Whoever the guy was, he was going to make sure the guy paid. But then again it’d been his own fault to decided fighting when he was still injured. RE: Recovery Mission - Rampage - 05-08-2012 02:28 PM Rampage carefully considered this new information as Tatsu explained. "Hm. Fair enough, I guess. Still, going into a fight out numbered while injured doesn't exactly sound like such a brilliant move on your part." "So if you can sense the emeralds, does that mean you can use them too? Like Sonic?"Rampage wondered, changing the subject. RE: Recovery Mission - Tatsuhiro - 05-08-2012 03:27 PM “Hmmm, yeah well, you wouldn’t think someone would be able to shoot you in the same exact spot you had just got shot in. It’s bad enough that one guy managed to shoot me behind the knee-cap and manage to get through my skin; but to have a pistol to hit me in the same place- That’s insulting.” As he looked forward, remembering the first incident he looked a little peeved. Of course, he knew his explanation couldn’t excuse his actions, but at least he explained his reasoning’s. As Ramapage changed subjects, the Gargoyle looked back over towards him with a curious look. But due to his un-expressive nature, it would probably look more like a lightened, dull face. “To a point. Can’t do any of that warping stuff,” Tatsu answered, “-But since this dimensional merge I’ve been able to use my powers without the Emerlad’s help. It’s weird.” RE: Recovery Mission - Rampage - 05-11-2012 08:57 AM "Murphey's Law is a pain in the ass alright." Rampage agreed with a deep throat-ed chuckle. "So what powers can you do? Nothing as creepy as 'Miss Psycho' and her nanobots I hope?" By this point, Rampage had activated the replay of the data tapes. Much of the tapes were records from the camera's on the Factory Ship, but here or there, some video from Swat-Bot combat footage had been relayed back to the factory ship. Most of the combat video was understandably shaky, but the Factory Ship videos were much more clear. The first combat footage to appear happened to be from the command and control bot from the beach attack. RE: Recovery Mission - Tatsuhiro - 05-11-2012 02:33 PM Tatsu watched the videos play on screen, as he continued to answer the badger’s questions. He was surprised he had been talking for so long. “Depends. Are you aquaphobic? Then perhaps, considering I can apparently breathe out water might be creepy. Hot, scolding water. Not everything I can do, but that’s the main idea at least. Otherwise, it might just sound disgusting.” RE: Recovery Mission - Rampage - 05-11-2012 03:23 PM "Hmmm..." Rampage rolled the picture of Tatsu spewing a mist of scalding hot water out of his mouth. Somehow it didn't fit with the guy's look. For some reason the image of a little blue turtle spouting water popped into his head. Strange as the thought may be that still made more sense to him somehow. "Hot water, huh? Inefficient, but an effective fear inducer." Rampage admitted. The move reminded him of a flamethrower. A weapon that was not to be trifled with to be sure, but not one that killed immediately. However, what it did do was create a massive psychological effect. Gruesome injuries, and horrible, agonizing deaths. Used wisely, that steam breath could be invaluable. RE: Recovery Mission - Tatsuhiro - 05-14-2012 01:50 PM “And the initial blast can knock people back. Water pressure and everything.”he added in, “Otherwise I just tear people apart.” He looked at his hands, which where now facing palm-side up in front of them. He looked back and forth as he took the time to think. Surely his hands were dangerous weapons, but it seemed as though most of the heroes he meet were always making jokes about it. He never really quite understood, even when the Doctor tried explaining it too him. Something about…long nails; and that women always grew them out. Wasn’t that a good thing though? After all, they were nasty weapons. Then again, those are nails; what he really had were talons. But, everyone said they were nails. After a pause he put his arms down on the chair’s arm rest. People were weird. “So, what do you do? I was guessing shooting at stuff.” |
