Egg Fleet Retreat - Rose Fox - 02-15-2012 12:23 AM [As a note Nail, in Base Zone Rose used a Nanite Syringe in Robotnik's arm.] [From Launch Base Zone] Still cringing in disgust, Snively’s finger found it’s way to the intercom button. “Attention, Egg Fleet, Attention! All units on full retreat. I repeat, All units on full retreat!” “Command Denied,” A voice came flatly over the intercom. “User has no authority-” Snively’s fist pounded onto the machine in aggravation. He was used to being able to issue out order that he’d forgotten he –can’t-. Somehow or another, there wasn’t a Snively in the dimension this uncle came from. Wait, did that mean Robotnik technically –wasn’t- his uncle now? In response to his anger, Rose’s dainty finger made it’s own way to the button. “ Give Snively authority to issue demands dealing with the retreat from Angel Island.” Snively looked over towards her with a questionable look. He…he was very surprised at it frankly. He would have thought she would have had brains to not let him get an ounce of power, but- “-Minor orders mind you; and only allow information access to damage reports on this mission. I also want medics at the ready when we dock. My Ivo is not in a very good condition....” Rose would begin to reply coolly as her finger came off the button and looked over towards him. “Haven’t you learned –anything- in the amount of time being with me? Do you –really- think I’m going to give someone like you any holding power?” He didn’t reply to her, all he did was show his discontent. He supposed it was too hopefull that she’d –completely- forget about everything. As Rose looked towards the front, she said something that made him a little curious. “I suppose you're right….” ‘What did that mean?’, he thought to himself. No reason to ponder on it as they came into contact with the main ship/ Before long, they’d soon be docking inside. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Dr. Robotnik - 02-15-2012 11:54 AM [We're all jammed into Robo's little egg pod?] The doctor would give an audible groan as the nanites began to take effect. The doctor's intact arm (the one still in the cockpit) moved to rub his forehead His normally shining white glove came away stained crimson from his nasty, bleeding head wound. While the doctor appeared to be waking up, he might need a minute to fully come to his senses and make sense of his surroundings. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Rose Fox - 02-15-2012 12:16 PM [Well, Both Rose and Snively are at each side. Basically, they’re stuck on a small ledge of it. I’m thinking of the Sonic X Egg Pod he had…It had enough ledge for something to sit on it. Also, damage report on the arm, or do you want to still leave it ambiguous? ‘Cause with the nanites working, she should be able to know some of the problems…] Just as Snively began to park the craft hear heard the Doctor begin to wake. “You’re conscious!?” Snively said aloud in surprise. Rose didn’t appear to be completely happy at Snively’s remark, but Rose was a little too concerned with Robotnik to care. “Don’t move dear,” Rose said softly, “You don’t need to strain yourself….” Finally docking the craft, Snively leapt off the edge he’d been uncomfortable sitting on and looked at his hands. They where covered in blood from having to touch the controls. He gave a low growl of disgust. He had an inclination to wipe his hands on his jacket, but then he’d have to take –that- off. “This is so disgusting…” Rose looked around the room, trying to see the medics as she too stepped off the ledge. That was, she did so after placing Robotnik’s injured arm back down slowly and gently. She was somewhat relieved that he was conscious; it meant that if he did suffer any concussion, it wouldn't cause any brain damage. Which in her mind was considerable worse than any arm injury. She'd have to examine his arm closer once in the right setting; hopefully the nanites managed to get some of the more minor injuries closed. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Dr. Robotnik - 02-16-2012 12:53 PM [Let's say that its broken.] "Uhh...uhhh...." Robotnik stirred, as he slowly blinked his eyes. He honestly had no idea of what had transpired while he'd gone unconscious, but there was a splitting pain from his arm and he couldn't move it. Not to mention he felt something wet and warm all over his face. Why was his vision so red... Was he covered in his own blood? That was certainly something that didn't happen often. The doctor tried to move the arm that had been hanging out of the egg pod...and then realized he couldn't. In fact, moving the top part of the arm left a rather splitting pain. The doctor couldn't contain it. He reared back as he shouted, with his arm outside the ship hanging limply. "Aaaaaah! My arm! What's wrong...with my arm?!" Not only did it hurt like hell, but it chilled him to the bone just thinking about what injuries he'd gotten. He looked around though, and couldn't help but notice Rose was here...but for some reason she looked so much older. And there was some other man there that he didn't recognize. Not to mention... "Rose...what happened to you? You look so much older since the last time I saw you. And where are we? Last I knew I was still fighting that deer in the factory ship..." They appeared to be inside another one of the ships he'd brought with him to mine Angel Island. But why this place? RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Rose Fox - 02-16-2012 01:33 PM “You remember me~!” Rose exclaimed happily, her eyes practically twinkling with joy. Not only that but he wasn’t –yelling- at her! Oh happy day~ She soon shook her head. “No, no, later~ None of that matters right now.” she seemed to be saying to herself than anyone else. She’d look back at Robotnik looking somewhat said as she clasped her hands together. “That stupid deer you were fighting electrocuted your machine, and you went flying into the wall where you’re arm must have been crushed.” she started to tell him, sounding upset. Though her expression changed to something a little more unsettling, as she dawned a warm, sincere smile. “ I’ll make sure that once this is all done with I’ll chop him into little pieces and feed him to his friends.” The amount of cheerfulness in this statement made Snively’s blood curl. He really wanted to understand why she could go from seeming fairly harmless to being psychotic in nature. Sure she was crazy, but she wore this mask of sanity that was so well done that once you see the cracks you had to do a double take. A very unsettling double take. “We’re in one of the remaining ships, sir,” Snively began in a drone. “That deer somewhat broke the Factory ship you had been fighting in. When you crashed, you crashed into a vat of molten metal that spilled everywhere; eating through the hull. We had to abandon it as it was about to be destroyed. I-, WE managed to get you out of course, and I docked at the nearest ship.” “Exactly what Colin said.” Rose confirmed cheerfully, with Snively groaning at the fact that she was back to using his real name. “Now, you shouldn’t really be moving you’re arm, Ivo dear. It looks like it’s been crushed in several places-” It was there when Rose brought her fingers up to her mouth, as though she was going to start biting them; and she started looking concerned again. “And I’m afraid there’s a possibility that one of the main nerves in the arm have been…disconnected. I can do something about it, just not now….” She brought her hand down and reached for her bag, pulling out a hanrcheif. She walked over, getting closer to the pod than before and held it out closer to his arm that wasn’t severely crushed. She didn’t say to take it, but she felt it was obvious that was the gesture she was going for. Her voice, for the first time during the conversation sounded much more serious in tone than bright and childish. "The nanites I have will only be able to re-construct a little bit of bone and heal up any kind of flesh wound. I’m afraid I’ll need some time to build the necessary nanties to fix the bone and the nerves in the arm. I’ve already injected one dosage into the arm, I might have to use up all the rest to get your arm in a better position though…” [where are those medic robots anyways? Rose did call them...] RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Dr. Robotnik - 02-17-2012 12:51 PM Quote:“ I’ll make sure that once this is all done with I’ll chop him into little pieces and feed him to his friends.” The doctor actually gave a halfway smile to that. "To be honest, I was thinking of doing the same thing after I roasted him with the flamethrowers." Then Snively intervened and gave a much more verbose explanation of what had happened before. The doctor immediately whirled around to face his supposed relative, although Snively would notice that the doctor appeared to have a deeply suspicious look on his face. Robo eyed the man in green up and down, as if he were scanning him with an X-ray. "Rose...who is your friend?" the doctor said to her, while giving Snively a very stern look. "I don't like visitors being unannounced." But then she was launching straight into an explanation about his broken arm. At first he was worried about the damage, but then couldn't help but blink a few times at all of the medical knowledge she appeared to suddenly possess. He raised his eyebrow as she kept going on and on and on about her healing nanites. "Rose...did something happen to you since the last time I saw you? All of a sudden you're talking as if you're a doctor. I don't remember you being like this at all before." It was then that the medical bots arrived with a stretcher. One of them began to gently help Robo out of the Egg Pod, before others came to help lay him down. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Rose Fox - 02-17-2012 01:13 PM [ Yaayyyy, agreed sneak cannibalism!] Suddenly, Rose looked very sad, like a little adorable kitten. “ You don’t remember me…” She said quite sadly. But just as quick as it had appeared, she looked over towards Snively with a dull look. “Him I can understand. He’s not very memorable.” Rose’s comment stabbed Snively straight in the ego, as his agitated face showed. He walked over towards Rose’s side and stood by here while he faced Robotnik. “I’m your nephew, Snively, Sir.” Snively replied dryly, introducing himself. “His –real- name is Colin Robotnik Jr. Isn’t that right, Colin dear?” Rose added cheerfully as she looked over towards him with a cheerful face. “I’ll take the deogritory nick-name, if you will.” Snively said sternly, obviously aggravated by being called by his real name. “ Thanks to a little research I can say that ,to make a long story short sir, I’m afraid this is not the Rose you know. She’s been with me the entire time in a place that I can only fathom as ‘The Void’. I think it’s safe to say that not everything is completely stable at the moment.” Rose looked up, as though a light bulb had turned on over her head as she realized something. “Oh yeah…I could have sworn right before that portal-thingy opened up I saw me walking in the other direction…” She’d looked back down, with a more contemplating face. “-Except the me had her hair up in a pony tail and had a funny-looking violet jacket…..actually, it looked a lot like yours.” Snively in response with a half smile as he held out his hands towards Rose as though she was an example. “See, sir? Does that sound like the ‘Rose’ you knew?” RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Dr. Robotnik - 02-20-2012 03:14 AM As the doctor was carted away, he continued his conversation with the pair. The doctor briefly wondered if he'd said something wrong when he didn't seem to recognize Snively. Then when he mentioned he was Robotnik's nephew, his suspicions were confirmed. "Oh...I see." The doctor didn't say anything else, and appeared to take it in stride. He'd already been through this with many other people like Rose, Rampage, and whatnot. "You know, you're like the fourteenth or fifteenth general/relative/soldier/ally that's decided to come work for me since this whole dimensional merge thing. It's not your fault." With his good arm he briefly brushed something off of his forehead nonchalantly. "I'm just getting kind of jaded to this whole thing. People keep appearing and then disappearing at random. So why would you want to be called Snively anyway?" Rose then mentioned what she'd seen before when she had seen another version of herself going into the void. He stroked his chin briefly, and found their observation most curious. "Yes...that does sound like her. So, only one version of you can exist in one dimension, apparently. That's very interesting." By this time they'd arrived at a medical ward on the retreating ship, and the doctor was transferred to a patient bed. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Rose Fox - 02-20-2012 03:50 AM [Yes, yes, sorry. I was trying to quickly skim through that and whatnot] “Indeed sir. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was any more disappearing and reappearing at random.” Snively replied, for now avoiding the Doctor’s question. “Who cares?” Rose began wissfully, “As long as I’m with my Ivo, nothing else matter.” Around the time that she began her statement she walked over to his side and placed one of her hands onto his right; all the while looking pleasantly cheerful. The act made Snively’s stomache curl now, as he couldn’t understand why this woman he was with was so head-over-heels for his uncle. With a fairly agitated face, he walked over towards Rose’s side. “He’s not yours.” He replied somewhat coolly. While Rose still kept a pleasantly cheerful face, it seemed though there was something wrong as the bottom half of her check twitched. “ What did you say, Colin dear?” she asked, still sounding pleasant. “Can’t you say his title once!?” Snively exclaimed, turning his back on Rose as he walked in the other direction. “Do you realize how mind,-numbingly aggravating it is for you to call him ‘My’ along with with his first name!?! I mean, He doesn’t even LIKE you-” About the time he was about to finish his sentence, he turned around to see an axe was flying at him. He lifted up his left leg, as well as the upper part of his body seemed to curl up as he placed his arms out in front of him; giving out a short shriek in the process. His eyes were practically bulging out as the axe landed where he lifted up his foot, causing him to sweat bullets in the process. It was suspiciously looking with an umbrella handle at the bottom; and the fact that the umbrella Rose had on here was now suddenly gone. “Oh my!” Rose replied, looking fakely shocked as she brought both hands up to her face. “Now how in the world did –that- get there? I certainly don’t know how…” Which would be very funny as Robotnik would have had a front-row seat to Rose throwing the axe at him with a very dark face. It reverted straight back to her cheerful, pleasant one as soon as the axe landed; and as she acted like she had nothing to do with it. RE: Egg Fleet Retreat - Dr. Robotnik - 02-21-2012 11:14 AM Robotnik just shook his head and chuckled under his breath at the back and forth between Rose and Snively. "Snively, don't worry about it. The other Rose was like this too. I'm used to it." Then as he walked away, the doctor turned back to Rose...only to see her transform the umbrella suddenly into an axe and hurl it straight at Snively. With a very shrill shriek he suddenly yanked himself out of the way, narrowly avoiding getting a nice axe in his leg. The doctor's eyes went wide, as his moustache appeared to deflate and fall down on either side of his nose. "...well...the old Rose definitely wasn't like THAT." Now he didn't feel so safe around her, as he turned his gaze back to her. Come to think of it, he should have noticed, but she appeared to wear her pleasantness and general whimsical nature like a mask. Just underneath there seemed to be something ready to bubble over and snap out. He made a mental note not to get too comfortable around her from now on. "How...did you do that? Make the umbrella an axe? Something you invented? It's very nice..." He hastily tacked on the last bit, realizing he should probably try to appeal to her creativity to keep her pleasant and under control. |
