Ok, I haven't been on in forever! Obviously the story has changed and I'm thinking of coming back.
With that said, mind bringing me up to speed? I don't need a absolutely detailed description, just a summary.

My my, we're getting a lot of veterans show back up here again all of a sudden XD I'm very happy to see you again, Sonno. We really need some more users and activity.
Since the last RP, a disaster with the Chaos Emeralds has caused multiple worlds and dimensions to merge together, bringing together elements from all across the multiple Sonic universes. The world looks as if it's been cut to pieces and then sewn back together in a haphazard fashion.
So there's only two cities left in the world now, with Soleanna for the good guys and Robotropolis for Robotnik and company. Robo wants to conquer Soleanna so that he'll rule all of civilization on the planet. But his first attack on the city failed, so now he's hoping to mine a lot of emerald shards from Angel Island to power up his army of robots for another attack. And there's a full set of bad guys trying to stop him right now.
There's two other small plots in Soleanna right now too.
In one, Nail has entered this world through his own dimensional warp, and unfortunately he arrived in prisoner's clothes since he was a prisoner before coming here. And there's an awful big fuss rising up around this whole incident, if you look at the topic XD Just search for "Oh...this isn't good...".
The other one takes place in an old apartment building called the Roval Arms. It used to be a grand mansion and it's designed to look like an old echidna temple, since the original owner loved echidna archaeology. Rumor has it he hid his fortune somewhere in the building, and there's a number of groups inside searching for it right now. Of course, not all of them are on the same side.
Of course, you could try coming up with your own plot if you want. I think the two Soleanna plots are starting to get crowded.

So tell me...how are people dealing with the interdimensional mumbo jumbo? Does their situation change when they cross through (like Nail going from law abider to inmate) or can it remain the same? I ask because I somewhat trying to reinvent Sonno. I don't think being some street rat graf artist works anymore.

As for your question, you've made me slightly confused. Nail was in jail -before- the merge and then afterwards, well he sorta got a lucky break.
It all depends on a character, really. Some people just stay the same and maybe get additional niffty Chaos Powers. Other people get kinda messed up; like Shadow having a split personality. there's not many examples of the latter. It all depends on what you want to do. If it helps, I am thinking of filling my fourth character slot, so you could start a new topic. The others are at a limit...

Well, that's completely over with. Heck, there's no-one who's played from the last time-line at all! And if they did, they're a lot older.
Don't think about it. You said you wanted to re-invent your character? Go ahead! You can do just about anything to him, as long as it isn't god-modding.
