A few minor details - Kitty O'Brien - 06-24-2010 08:24 AM

Okay, I've discarded my Bowser idea and am working on a new character, but I'd like to know a few minor details so I can fit the character in properly. Long story short, the character is an Egyptian pharaoh who was yanked forwards in time and dumped into the present era by the Shattering*.

First of all, is it cleanly established what someone tossed forwards in time in the aforementioned way would experience, or can I make that up?
Second, about how long ago did the Shattering occur, from the perspective of the roleplay's current events?
Lastly, is there anything else I should take into consideration that I haven't asked about, given the information I've already shared?

*I hope it's clear what this term refers to. It's my own nickname for when the Chaos Emeralds shattered and the world got thrown into a blender.

Shattering...I actually like that name. I just may put it in the backstory. You ok with that?

1) Most characters report seeing bright flashes in the sky. So I suppose your character would see a lot of bright light, and then suddenly awaken in the world as it is now.

2) At this point, I'd say a few days up to a couple weeks at the most. The main thing I'd take away is that it happened recently. Almost everyone's still somewhat confused and trying to figure out what's going on.

3) I can't think of anything else really. Except that the emerald shards are scattered about you know, and you can seek those out for power.

I guess I'm okay with you using that term. I figured it needed a name, and was hoping that one would catch on.

Your language is a little vague, though. By "take away" in #2, do you mean put in or take out?

When I mean "take away" I mean "this is the main point I want you to get from #2".

Alright, glad that's settled.

Profile's been up for a while now. Still not 100% complete, but it's getting there.
