Bowser - Bowser - 11-21-2009 12:25 PM

(Kitty here. I decided to start fresh with a new character. I often find creating new characters easier than trying to re-adapt old ones. This is exactly what it looks like: a reconstruction of the famous antagonist from the Mario series into the Aftermath universe. Laugh if you want, but I think I can pull it off. Sections marked "wait" I haven't finished yet, but I do not discourage opinions of the profile in its current state.)

Name: Bowser M. Koopa
Age: (WAIT) (I'm not sure of it myself!)
Sex: Male
Species: Uncertain... seems to be a turtle/dragon hybrid

Faction: None
Alignment: Villain

Appearance: (WAIT) (I'll post a picture here later)

Personality: (WAIT)

Family: No relatives within this dimension. Rumored to be a father of several, but nobody knows who the mother is.

Transport: No real means of transport within this dimension.

Weapons: Bowser uses no external weapons; his brute strength and fire breath are typically enough.

Biography:
Bowser enjoyed the majority of his life as somewhat of a dictator, or "evil king" as he preferred. He even had his own personal army with which he attempted to conquer the adjoining kingdom many times, never succeeding.

None of this, however, took place in the Aftermath dimension, but rather another one close to it.

When the Shattering occurred, it had many effects. Bowser himself was torn out of his own dimension and dumped rather unceremoniously at the border of Robotropolis as it came into existence. As a side effect of the transport, his body was transformed drastically; the new Bowser was slimmer and more handsome (relatively speaking), and wore gloves and shoes that seemed to have been custom-made for him.

No sooner had Bowser woken up than he was suddenly surrounded by a group of Eggman patrol robots that demanded that he surrender to the Eggman Empire. He naturally refused, and promptly melted the lot with a blast of fire breath before storming off to the empty fields to think by himself.

Bowser subsequently stumbled upon a small camp of refugees from the former Station Square that didn't have the means to journey all the way to Soleanna. It was from these refugees that he learned what this world was like. With this information in mind, Bowser made a decision.

"That Dr. Eggsalad guy ain't competent enough to manage a restaurant! I'm gonna march in there, knock him down, and rule his empire of tin cans myself!"

That decision made, Bowser began to plan his assault on Robotropolis.

Moves/Combat Style:
Bowser is towards the Mighty Glacier end of the fighters' spectrum. He's wicked strong-- he could dent steel bars with a good punch-- but his agility leaves a bit to be desired. He does his best fighting at short range, so if you get on his bad side, keep your distance. He has a few techniques he uses in battle:
Punch - Just what it sounds like, a straight punch. He can through a quick hook, or charge up for a blow that can turn stone to rubble and bend metal. He's strong enough to give Knuckles a run for his money.
Flame Breath - When the situation calls for it, Bowser can breathe fire to burn up his foes, much like a dragon. This is really his only option for attacking at a decent range or attacking multiple targets simultaneously.
Spike-Ball - Bowser hadn't mastered this technique until recently, but he loves it. In a nutshell, it's the ability to curl into a big, spiky ball and roll around. He can't roll very quickly unless he finds a slope, but it's still faster than walking. Also, have you ever been hit by a giant, green, spiked cannonball? It hurts.

Skills:
- In case you haven't picked it up before, Bowser's physical strength is very impressive. He could pick up an SUV and hold it above his head with little effort.
- Bowser's spiky green shell is very hardy, perhaps even bulletproof. He can block many attacks by simply turning his back on them, or hugging the ground and letting it take the hit.
- You wouldn't know it by his personality, but Bowser is a very skilled captain of war. (Not that it's helped recently since his army didn't come with him across dimensions.)

Strengths and weaknesses:
(WAIT)

(As you can see, this profile is incomplete. I'll finish it up in due time, don't worry!)

I hate to be a killjoy, but I already went over this with Dan in a topic in general discussion in which I basically said "No cross-overs". =\ Bowser would be a sweet role to play, but if I let you in, then I would have to let in Final Fantasy and Katamari and Star Fox and Halo and whatever characters.

RE: Bowser - Viper - 11-21-2009 02:11 PM

I agree with Yoli on this, sorry no official cross-overs.

RE: Bowser - Kitty O'Brien - 11-21-2009 10:42 PM

Damn. It's so hard to judge in advance what can be gotten away with and what can't around here. Or anywhere, for that matter.

*sulks in a corner*

RE: Bowser - Nokame - 11-22-2009 12:48 AM

Just try and make a character more related to here... besides the "no cross-over" gig, we've mellowed out alot.

RE: Bowser - Yolanda Riona - 11-22-2009 03:46 AM

=\ Yeah, I mean look at my profile. It's pretty outrageous for being involved in a Sonic RPG. I know that myself.

Don't worry. You'll figure something out.
