Dr. Davis Heather - Viper - 11-13-2009 08:24 PM

Name: Dr. Davis Heather
Age: 28
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Alignment Evil
Faction: Lythum Corporation
- A leading corporation in technology that has its hands it all fields of electronics and technology development, however what most people do not know is the methods and means they use to research and develop the technology is far from legit. The corporation has no real limits to what they will not do to get results from stealing others work to using human test subjects. If it gets results and a higher profit margin then it’s all good.

Personality: He is very focused type of person and when he sets his mind to it, it gets done. He is objective and pointed with his remarks. He solo goal is to make all his research a success for fame. He does not care if its destruction or for saving the world. He wants his fame to be known to everyone and everything.

He has a surprising sense of humor and a scientific chramisa that brings scientist to him out of pure respect of his logic. He is not easily angered. He has no respect for life but only a respect the desire to live that drives life. He does not mind losing, finding valuable data in both loss and victory. Tia is 'special' to him both as a crowning example of his science and likely more.

Appearance He is overing seen wearing a heavy white labcoat, open with brown cargo pants and a simple black t-shirt. He has short black hair and blue eyes. He prefers to keep his appearance simple and enjoys wearing simple clothing cause of his lack having been able to wear what he wants during childhood.

History: Davis was born and abandoned with a major birth defect, that rendered his ability to control his body limited at best. It’s believed it was a result of something that happened to his birth mother. He found out he was not 'normal' around the age of 5 where he came to notice that only he had most of the problems he did.

He was shuffled around the child support system his entire life, finding that his 'defects' were so drastic, he could not even visit the bathroom would out assistance. He was however a genius in mind but without a body that would function so he could speak properly or write properly. He could not even display how much of a genius he was.

He went through the special education system all the way through high school but at the end of his high school, he felt like he was cursed to live in a cursed body like his. He wanted to find some way to cure himself but without the means to even tell someone effectively and his caretakers changing at least once a year. He created no connection to anyone to be able to tell them.

He however got 'lucky' in a sense. He was being taken home on the bus with everyone else and the bus crashed when some idiot attempted to blow a red light. He woke up and found that he could no longer feel his entire lower self as the crash and broken his body even more but he noticed for the first time he was able to control his hands properly, and very steadily as well. He found he could speak too, clear then ever before. He still wasn't on 'average' but it was enough that he could be 'understood'. He could write clear enough to be read and could speak clear enough to understand what he was saying.

He was able to get the point across that he wanted to go to college, in the medical field. He wanted to find a way to cure his own problem. He knew non-existed right now, but he would find one and make one. He pushed through all the difficult work while stuck in a hospital bed. His body might be nearly broken but his head was far from it. He was finally able to focus on something he wanted to do, he focused his entire existence into his study.

He got results, lots of them. His genius showing finally as his brain ate large text books dozens at a time. He passed tests in with the 100% he so honestly would have had before. He was 21 when he got his degree in medical science. He however was still no where close to finding a cure, or fixing his lower body. It was one day when the medical bed he was stationed on broke. The nurse said that they were getting someone to replace a broken part on it. It hit him, 'replace it'.

He threw himself into the study of bio-technology, once again eating textbooks and online classes as if they were going out of style. He got his degree in bio-technology at the age of 23 with high honors. He found the body often suffers rejection issues with replacement organs and technology was even worse for it. It was part of the body not accepting something in was going to be a critical problem.

He started to devise a way to 're-write' what the body accepted as 'normal'. He needed to find a way to tell the body to stop resisting the change over. Everyone in the field went to genetics but such a solution would only effectively useful on a newborn or before birth. He needed to develop a way to 'translate' or something that would buffer the rejection.

He spent two years writing a full research paper on how to make it possible and even the designs of the basic nano machines. He completed the paper and after several re-reads and check over. He completed his thesis. The problem was how to get it applied into a practically and to himself. He had nothing to offer but his intelligence. That was more then enough bargaining power if used right.

He copied his thesis and then sent it to the Lythum Corporation, the current leader in medical technology, after having the idea legalized as his own. The company was the bio-technology market leader and head. He sent them it to see if they would fear the loss of the monopoly on the market or if they might 'eat' his idea and pay out on it. It did not matter which one, as he would get the results he wanted.

They 'ate' the idea and offered to buy the idea for an outrageous sum but instead, Davis gave them a deal. He wanted it to be used on him to cure both of his problems. If he died during the process then it would still be legally theirs. If it worked it would be sold to them and become there and he would even offer the rest of his life towards the company as a medical researcher.

They ate the deal up hook line and sinker. They would need to try it out anyway and they get a willing test subject from the get go. They got the patterns regardless for the nano-technology and all the notes regarding them.

The deal happened impressive fast as he found himself on an operating table within two weeks of the agreement. He was going to die or live, and he 'lived' for this entire moment to be free from his curse.

He woke up a week later in a private hospital. He could feel his lower body again and best yet he could move his hand, not like before, smoothly and carefully. He started to laugh and quickly notice that his voice was now stable. It wasn't uneven and messed up or 'dumb' sounding. He started to feel uncontrollable pleased. He moved his figures and they moved. He moved his big left toe, and it moved. He was tried but yet the pure blizz of it being a success only made him feel pleased. He had lived to this moment and now it was here.

He became as promised a full medical researcher not publicly but in the less then legal development of medical development. His first day at work, he saw the place full of researchers, human test subjects, illegal use of military grade equipment. He saw it but right and wrong did not appear to him, only a promise of a wide ability to research, unhindered by laws or morals. He had found a home and a place to make all his projects and ideas come true without legal or morals getting in the way of progress.

He worked hard and long. He lived at the place, like most researchers. He gave up his surface life to work in the place as long as needed. He did research and developed and advanced his nano machines and worked on advancing his cybernetics to the next stage. He looked into improving people, making them stronger and faster. He found very quickly that unlike where he fixed his nervous system with nano machine but to 'improve' he would have to increase the output of the muscles and strength of the bones.

He found he would need to replace the bones with synthetic bones, that were made out of far tougher material but just as flexible as well. He found the solution rather quick with some of his co-workers works. He started gaining fellow scientist with him as some saw how he would be the next lead scientist in the building with his intelligence, this also earned him the hate of others who felt he was threaten there positions.

Davis did not care about who was lead or not, he wanted simply to advance his cybernetics to the next stage. He created with the help of a fellow scientist Dr. Clover, a theoretical new circulatory system to provide more resources to the body quicker. They then developed a synthetic muscle tissue that could output far better then what a person was born with. They used Dr. Clover's existing work with 'White Blood' which was to be used with it. The nano machines provided the answer to getting a higher air output without replacing the lungs. The new nervous system would act as the translator and buffer for all these replacement parts.

They worked on the theory for several months till they needed real world data. They needed to try it out for once on someone or something. They have developed it for humans from the start and though the corporation cloning program provided plenty of 'test material' they found they would not have access to it for at least a year since it takes time. Dr. Clover and Dr. Davis both had no intention of waiting. They did not mind if it wasn't a perfect sample, they needed some results.

This was when Davis met Tia. She was the failed result of a 'Super Solider' formula gone wrong. A majority of her nervous system was beyond repair cause of the drug used. She could not move and most thought she was brain dead based on her low brain chart response. They sent her to be disposed of, and while she waited in line to be rid of, Dr. Davis came and looked at her and thought she seemed dead. He understood somehow, she was not dead. She was cursed, like him, stuck in a body that would not show her life despite her having it.

He noticed she was a subject belonging to Dr. cline, one of his many 'foes'. He knew taking a subject without permission would result in trouble but using some minor 'edits' on the computer, marking her as 'disposed'. He then carted her off to his own lab and gathered the close select few in his project, like Dr Clover. A few were nervous but most were like him, finding this would be perfect. The problem that she had cause of her nervous system was little issue... it was going to be replaced anyway.

It took a better part of three months of surgery and waiting repeated over and over. They could not do the entire process at once, so they started with the nervous system. She could move and speak again but not clearly or very well. Her muscles appeared to have been damaged as well. They replaced her muscles and blood. She started using the new blood and muscles, as time went on she began to gain control of herself again. They then replaced her bones bit by bit, replacing all of them over the entire three months.

The phases of the project each one was very close calls as all nearly killed the kitsune but she endured. This made Dr. Davis excited as she was almost complete. The final part was the use of nano machines to artificially 'format' a section of her brain which they could then turn into a biological hard drive. The process proved to be a success, and despite the likelihood of making her brain dead, she was still able to think clearly and her ability to use her body increased drastically as they began to 'upload' control software and other systems into a section for her brain that would support the full potential of all her 'upgrades'.

He found his fellow scientist questioning why he not builds a machine. He knew why, because a machine has no soul. It can not think, it is limited by its software it was made with. He hated machines in a sense. He felt that a will to live, a soul, was needed for things and making a machine had none was pointless. He felt the strength of will power was needed and used Tia as proof, as she endured that which should have killed her, rendered her worse then dead, but she was alive still.

It seemed like the project would be a success but instead Dr. Cline appeared only a few days after Tia learned to be able to walk and use her limbs effectively. He came after Davis with some inter-corporate bull about it was his subject and now he was going to be shut down. Davis did not like the idea of being shut down, not when his project was on a roll so...

"Dr. Cline walked in during a controlled expirement, voilating safety protocols, and was killed when the expirement went wrong. That sounds formal enough, right Dr. Cline?"

Davis rolled off his tong as he thought how easy that would be to write off. Dr. Cline understood what he met to do and went for a weapon he had brought along. He was however no match for Tia movement or strength, before he could make it to the door. Tia grabs his arm as hard as she could. She had no concept of her own strength as she broke his arm and as she pulled him towards he nearly ripped it off. She grabbed him by the throat and crushed his wind pipe. She dropped him in surprise as he died unaware of what she did.

"Death by his own test subject? Ironic no?"

Davis then looked at her health status as he noticed her use of her muscles took far too much power when left at full, she had wasted already 25% of her battery using 'all her strength'. He did not even blink an eye at Dr. Cline's death, he called it in and filed the nasty long paper work regarding the event and forgot about the event next week.

He forgot but others didn't. He got a reminder only two weeks later as a close lab assistant of Dr. Cline managed to get a laser pistol in the building and walked into the lab and started firing at Davis. He took all the shots and luck had it Tia 'REActed' and killed the man using her new combat abilities. The damage had been done however as it left Davis in bed for a week. His nano machines made his recovery faster but it was much too close for his like. He was glad that he started testing the new combat software known as 'REAct', which was a program designed to 'switch' Tia's thought process from normal trains of thought to combat when a threat was detected. He was very pleased to know his setting up of how to ID a gun and it being shot at him was enough to trigger it, even if it was an unintentional test.

He took a minor break from the project using some of the vacation time he gathered over the last year. He focused on enhancing his own limited nano machines, for his own protection. He could update the nano machine but he could not change the fast his body was still mostly still flesh and blood. He instead made array of nano machines that could temporarily augment his leg muscles allowing for a movement beyond any normal person. It worked but just using it once or twice caused damage to his legs, which is nano machines healed the next day but it was a rather pleasing result. He would have a manner of which to 'escape' with or at least stay alive long enough for Tia to end it.

He attempted the nano machine process on other subjects at this point but results were lack luster. A few became cyborgs but virtually brianless ones after suffering damage and others did not suvive the process at all. He has several other subjects but all except Tia are mentally 'retarded' due to brian damage during the last phase. He believes it has much to do with 'will power' of the person.

It was around this time his world wrapped and the worlds converged. The corporate suffered at first heavy loss' cause of what happened but then found cause of the chaos many 'less then legal' operations became possible in the chaos. Davis became the head researcher of the facility during the chaos as the head disappeared during the event. He got Tia to be allowed to leave the facility with him on business and similar, for beta testing and as a body guard. He placed Dr. Clover in charge while he was away to keep development moving, while he could focus on Tia's beta testing. He development 'nano' talk, which uses nano machines to translate intended speak directly to transmission rather then speaking. This also includes the function to listen to it directly via nano machines without the need of a headset, currently he uses between Tia and himself.

He was going to make her the best cyborg. He would develop even better cybernetics and nano machines. He heard of Robotnik for the first time and his technology and robots. Davis became determined in this age of crazy science and mad super powers. He was going to make a mark, a mark so big that no one could say he was wrong.

Items
TiVa - A high tech PDA customized to for receiving data and information on Tia's current status. He often uses it to make lab notes and remidners like a normal PDA and cell phone. It has madely designed as a portable terminal so he can control and monitor Tia. He can make minor edits to her nano machines but it does not take the place of a proper maintenance back at the lab. It by default is password protected and its touch screen requires his finger print to use per corporate security policy.

Nano Talk - A nano transmission sent between nano machines. They use the same transmission software as the tracking system so its range is very wide and can switch to even a satelite mode. The transmission is in a encoding that nano machines speak in, making almost impossible to decode without knowledge of nano machine programming. This allows Davis and Tia to directly talk without using mouths or headsets, it can be used with other radios but it has to be configured before hand. The transmission is translated from the nervous system directly and received directly as well therefore its only receivable if they are awake.

MCX Laser PD X30 - A simple laser hand gun that causes minor burn wounds on targets who are shot. This gun however is more well known for its 'Taser' attachment that is held underneath the main barrel. It fires two dart-like electrodes at the target, that on impact 'taser' the target with energy. It range is limited and the unit can fire once and then needs to be re-winded back before it can be fired again. Davis' general gun use is limited as he has not made any attempt to practice, as such he generally does not rely on it.

Combat Style AVoid - Simply put, he does not fight but instead is focused on avoiding fighting all together. His 'style' is nothing more then running away and getting out of harms way. He lucky is augmented by his cybernetics to assist him in getting away. He also does not mind being cheap taking shots and using his taser while an opponent is busy with Tia. He generally however shys away from combat.

Instant Shift - The only augmentation to his cybernetics is the enhancement to his legs to allow an almost instant movement. He only can go about 5 yards in a straight line and despite how easy he makes it look, it exhausts him after about 5 uses and since he has no fighting talent, he only uses it to run away. He is naturally slow to react after a 'Instant Shift' and therefore can not effectively attack after using this move.

Shock Shot - Davis' ability to aim is limited to a novice but this move simply aims the taser at a nearby surface instead of the target. He then one post later the relative area (3 yards) becomes electrified causing damage to anyone in the area. The move only works on some common surfaces, but it range is doubled on metal and water. The wires from the gun can be cut to stop the flow of power.

Skills
Cybernetics - Expert - Davis is a master at cybernetics, which includes nano machines. He has focused all his life and research on the topic and thanks to his rather aggressive testing methods can plus out results at an alarming unnatural rate. His knowledge is heavily focused on interaction between machine and flesh and how they interact with each other.

Doctor - Advanced - Though Davis did not aim to specialize in this, to be able to full understand cybernetics he had to learn how the body works first. He has a very good understands of both furry and human biological functions. He does not normally use this skill cause he focus on enhancing abilities, via cybernetics but the knowledge from this skill is a must to do his cybernetic work.

Robotics - Advanced - Similar to his doctor skill, a skill he needed to learn and understand so he could apply it as part of cybernetics. He does not specialize in anything specific but has a well rounded understanding of machines and robotics. He generally only applies these skills to his cybernetics.

Pistols - Novice - After being shot nearly to death, he has taken to carrying a pistol himself for protection but he barely uses it and therefore not the best of shots. He however is rather fond of the taser function, prefers to shoot the a target while Tia is handling them and tasering them.

Strengths
- He is exceedly smart
- He has access to a wealth of resources as head researcher.
- He has other projects as well but nothing as powerful as Tia.

Weakness
- Davis weak offense ability.
- Davis relies mainly Tia for protection.
- His other projects are generally unstable.

The following are profiles of other cyborg projects that Dr. Davis has created that were less then successful in comparsion to Tia. They are by default weaker then your average PC. The 'age' is off simply cause they are grown for use with expirements and therefore artifically aged to the proper needed age for a test.

Name: Cyor F03
Age: 2 (Appears 16)
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: He wears all black with even sunglass as well. He wears a tench coat and black suit under nearth his coat.
Personality: He has none as he is a failed by-product of the Combat Cyborg Program, he responds and reacts like a machine. He, like Tia, is programmed to protect Dr. Davis at all costs. He has a few bothers who are also the same type and same programming, making him rather expendable.
Relation to Character: Test Subject
SKills: Electro Fist - Cyor is focused entirely in close range suppression combat. He used two electronic gloves that cause a shock impact upon when they connect with the target. His style is that of a boxer. He 'shock' fists are meant to knock out targets.
Uses for Characters: Minon/Cannon Fodder/Body Guard

Strengths
- Close Range Specialist
- Shock Impacts

Weakness
- No Mid-Long Range
- Unable to 'Think'

Name: Cila T02
Age: 1 (Appears 12)
Gender: Female
Species: Hedghehog
Appearance: She has a full black cape and wears black single peice unit form, that hides most of her snow white fur. She is short even for her artifical age of 12.

Personality: Cila is considered a 'half-failure', as she is unable to accept full digital input. This has left her very negative and a dislike of Tia, who is a complete success. She would perfer to put bullet in everyone's head if possible but thanks to her somewhat less then successful reprogramming, she has no 'urge' to act without orders.

She is unable to execute any major tasks without orders. She has been programmed to protect Dr. Davis at all costs and followed Tia's orders, much to her visble displeasure. She will gladly follow 'loose' orders and bend them in her favor if the wording is left too open, making her a bit of a risk when deploying.

Relation to Character: Test Subject
Skills: Sniper - Cila skill is sniping, perfering to stay at max distance and take shots at her opponents from unknown locations. She perfers long range, single shot, energy bullets rifles, as lasers sometimes will leave a trail behind.

Blend - While Tia uses nano fibers for armor, Cila only uses her cape as a terran blending effect when she prones for sniping. This is designed to lower the chances of her being spotted from a distance. It can still be noticed somewhat in close range with a careful eye.

Strengths
- Long Range Specialist
- Good at staying out of sight
- Independent Worker

Weakness
- No Close Range Skills
- No Loyality
- Naturally Weak and Frail

Use of Characters: Assassianations/Sniper/Support Fire

Name: Etha T00
Age: 2 (Appears to be 16)
Gender: Female
Species: Fox
Appearance: She often appears in formal dress wear and is often mistaken as a personal attendent. Her outfits varies but she is generally always in office wear and very neat and clean.

Personality: Another half-failure of Combat Cyborgs, she is able to think but suffers logic loop errors, which result on her locking up instant when one happens. She follows schedules and orders without fail but locks up easly when the request is outside her power or they miss a schedule. She makes an execellent secretary, she also hate people who push off such tasks and dislikes surprises.

Relation to Character: Test Subject
Skills: Management - Her only functions involve paper pushing and management. Her management functions can be used offensively as a team leader in a crisis event, but she has no combat abilities and due to her logic loop problem, often can not last long handling a combat event before suffering a logic error, hence Dr. Davis lets her handle all the annoying paper work and avoids deploying her in such a fashion.

Legal - She is also loaded with the entire legal end of corporate policy, making her very effective for legal reasons. She can be loaded with other law functions to allow her to be a somewhat effectively lawyer.

Strengths
- The Ultimate Secretary
- Time Management

Weakness
- Logic Loop Error
- Non-Combat

Use of Characters: Paper Pusher/Schedule Keeper/All Things Annoying
