I'm not sure how many of you on here know about this, but Sonic Retro members The Taxman and Stealth, in cooperation with Sega, made mobile remasterings of Sonic 1 & 2 for iOS and Android. And they didn't just use a mobile emulator for these remasterings, they rebuilt it from the ground up using a fan-made engine! These ports also have new features in them such as a playable Tails and Knuckles in Sonic 1 and a fully complete Hidden Palace Zone in Sonic 2. Discuss your thoughts.

That's pretty cool that Sega let the fans help out with bringing the remastering to mobiles. Do you know how much it will cost? I might be interested since I don't have any games on my phone right now.
Too bad Sonic 3's not in there though. That one's my personal favorite out of the original trilogy.

Both are already out now for 3 bucks. They're amazing ports and are worth buying. Here's to hoping they port Sonic 3 and Knuckles as well, because people have been asking for a mobile port of that one for years now.
