Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic - 12-09-2013 09:20 AM [Hey guys, it's me, Stormer. By Nail's suggestion, I've decided to RP as Sonic as well. Hope you like where I go with him!] Name: Sonic the Hedgehog Age: 16 DOB: Unknown (Assumed to be June 23) Sex: M Height: 3.3ft. Weight: 77.2lbs. Species: Hedgehog Faction: None Alignment: Hero Appearance: Personality: Sonic is as free-spirited as can be, constantly searching for adventure. He follows no one's rules, living by his own moral code. He's quite boastful of his speed, and with good reason: he's the fastest thing alive! He's very impatient and hates waiting in one place for too long. He hates evil and injustice with a passion and can't stand to see people crying. He often likes to taunt, joke with, and crack one-liners as well to his enemies. He is cocky and arrogant at times, and that has made him underestimate the power of some of his foes. Though Sonic may come off as a bit of a dick at times, he has a heart of gold and will always come though for his friends in the end. Family: None known, but treats Tails as a younger brother. Weapons: None, as Sonic is his own weapon. See Moves/Combat Style for details. Biography: Sonic has been through much in his 16 years of life. Not much is known about Sonic's early childhood, aside from the fact that he was born on Christmas Island. His first adventure took place on South Island, where he successfully kept the evil Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik from getting his hands on the Chaos Emeralds. He met his lifelong partner Miles "Tails" Prower on West Side Island, where the duo managed to destroy the superweapon known as the Death Egg. Only a short time later, he, Tails, and Knuckles managed to destroy a newly rebuilt Death Egg, and saved Angel Island from destruction. Since then, he's fought the likes of Metal Sonic, Perfect Chaos, Dark Gaia, the Time Eater, and the Deadly Six, cleared his name from suspision from GUN, and saved the world a thousand times over, all the while ruining Eggman's dream of building Eggmanland and conquering the world. Since The Shattering, the tables have turned immensely for our spiky blue hero. With Eggman's transformation of Station Square into Robotropolis, Sonic has had his work cut out for him. Unfortunately, after defending Soleanna, he disappeared on Angel Island, and no one's seen him since. But now, after months of absence, he's returned, ready to kick Eggman's can from here to next week! Moves/Combat Style: Sonic is of course the Blue Blur, and puts his speed to great use in combat. With a mix of martial arts, parkour, and caopria, Sonic's legwork is second to none. His moveset has his tried and true moves that he's used for years now: Spin Dash- One of Sonic's most famous moves, consisting of him revving up into a ball, and launching himself at opponents, cutting through them like a buzzsaw at high speed. Sonic Wind- When Sonic gets 10 Chaos Drives, he can launch a small blue whirlwind of energy that harms anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in it. Jump Dash/Homing Attack- While in air in ball form, Sonic can lock-on and propel himself forward at an enemy at high speed or forward if no enemies are around. There is, however, a possibility that his homing attack won't lock on at all, and will instead send Sonic into a Jump Dash. Super Boost- Sonic can use this to hit max speed near instantly, and it creates a blue mach speed cone in front of him, allowing him to bowl through enemies at high speed. However, it does run on Chaos Drives, and if Sonic doesn't have enough left, this attack can't be used. Light Speed Attack- After charging up enough energy by revving up in place, Sonic can use this to lock onto a swarm of enemies, destroying them all in a flash. Blue Tornado- Sonic can spin into a small tornado in mid-air, sucking in any enemies close by and throwing em for quite a spin! Chaos Control- Yes, Sonic can also perform Chaos Control, though he's not as skilled with it as Shadow is. He can use it to teleport himself though space and time to any location at once, but it takes concentration and a Chaos Emerald to be performed. Skills: He's a fast learner, able to memorize techniques very fast. He's also good at quick thinking, able to change his course of action very quickly. He also can remain very calm even when fighting world-devouring monsters. And of course, he's got his speed. Strengths: He's faster than the speed of sound, and can outrun nearly any opponent. His heart strength and resilience to diseases is off the charts. He also has incredible tenacity and will never give up, no matter the odds. Weaknesses: Sonic is infamous for his lack of swimming skills and inability to breathe underwater for more than 30 seconds. He's also very brash and impatient and that has cost him dearly several times. His arrogance has led him to severely underestimate some of his foes, such as Shadow during the ARK incident. He also requires 8 hours of sleep every night to function at full strength. And a lot of his most powerful moves require Chaos Drives to work.
