[From Rum Valley Bar. I'll try to maintain the same posting order: Nail/Giichi - SOLIS - Terrador - Echo. My next two posts assume that Terrador went with Giichi in his car, and SOLIS guided Nail here. Let me know if this is not ok.]
Alfredrick's was a small not very well known establishment on the very fringe of Soleanna. To say the city was full of culture and wisdom didn't mean it didn't have its less apealing qualities. This place was one of them. The door was located down a back alley rarely trodden by more regular people and was a shady little nook for people to discuss things in private over a glass of rather cheap alcohol.
Giichi didn't like the bar, but it was a very handy place to meet contacts and associates in secret without being disturbed. Most of the reason he didn't like it was the need to park several blocks away, in order to keep his Ferrari from being vandalized or stolen.
Regardless, if Terrador had ridden in the Ferrari with him, the pair would find themselves the first people to make it to the bar. That made sense of course, since Giichi went there on a regular basis.
"So...here we are. I know it looks like a dump, but we'll have privacy here."
Giichi turned the corner into Alfredrick's alley. The first thing noticeable would be the darkness. The sun had started to set, so no sunlight managed to penetrate the passageway. The bordering buildings pretty much swallowed up most of the available light. Graffiti covered the walls in most places. Above one door, a squeaky wooden sign swung in the breeze, with ALFREDRICK'S written across it in faded red paint.
The cat casually led the way though, pushing in the bar's door. The old wood also squeaked at him, as a bell jingled overhead. Inside, there wasn't much to see. Ratty old wooden tables and chairs spread out across the dirty stone floor, but there were a few booths along one wall that provided a little more privacy. Colorful neon signs advertising various beers provided most of the illumination.
"Just as I remember it."
Little had changed since he'd met Petya the last time he'd been here. Sure felt like an awful long time since then.
"Want anything Giichi?"
The bartender, a badger named Reginald, stood smiling behind the bar. Giichi brought over a fair amount of new clients whenever he needed a private meeting, so the cat was always welcome here.
"Not right now. Do you want anything Terrador?"
Before Terrador would be able to answer, the bell rang as another customer entered.
