Hi guys, since the general discussion forum's pretty bare right now I thought I'd start a topic. We just don't seem to talk to each other much outside of the roleplays, so maybe the board would be more fun if we just chatted.
How is everyone right now? It's been a pretty crazy year for me. Bought my first house about six months ago now and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm thinking about what color I'm going to paint the walls on the inside, and I'm also thinking about getting a cat. I also have to say I'm looking forward to handing out treats this Halloween. For the first time I'd be doing it from a place that I own, and not an apartment or my parents' house
Life goes well here I suppose. I'm halfway through college and my GPA is still high so gotta be thankful for that. I'm thinking about backing off the load though so I can maybe work more hours.
I have recently discovered the wonders of rc flight and have decided to take it upon myself to build and fly a remote controlled contraption of my own. I haven't decided as of yet which aircraft I want to build or if I want to design a new aircraft all together. I will let the board know of my progress if you guys are interested.
Other than that I've been helping a friend re-build an old house he's been putting back together the last couple months. I'll tell you that I have developed a dislike of central air installation. I did not enjoy crawling around in a muddy crawlspace.
Well now that I can finally post. Jeez, that was a much longer hiatus then i wanted to take.
Echo, you're helping a friend rebuild a house? Really? That sounds really interesting. You guys planning to move in there or something?
Relic, wow...I didn't know if you were coming back or not by this point. Must have been something pretty serious.
Yeah, it hit the fan really hard. But I am back.
Been able to post for a few weeks now, but couldn't pull myself out of the slump.
Well lurk for a few days and just catch up, hate jumping in with out knowing whats going on.
Any majot plot points?
We've lost some more people since you left, so there's only two plots going on right now:
1) Good guys are about to raid Robotropolis to steal back some emerald shards Robo has taken from Angel Island. What they don't know is that a new villain (Mammoth Mogul) has beat them to the punch.
2) And our plotline where Priscilla and Drake are having a gang war against the local Thieves' Guild. I had Nail go to fight Giichi and the others on a sidestreet since you took off.
Great to have you back...we need as many people as we can get now.
I feel like a munchkin around you guys, with your "College" and "Houses" and "Life Problems".
My biggest issue is AP Homework. >v>;

Well I can have R & P return to that plot line. I also have Tancer and Vanessa on the back burner waiting to do good guy things.
Whip, kiss your AP homework and thank it for being your biggest problem, lol. Don't worry Relic is really hard to miss, and Priscilla is going to make sure.
Haha...I'm with Relic. There are many times when I wish I could be a teenager again for a week or so and go to high school. It would be very interesting seeing it again after knowing what comes afterwards. All of the things I worried about as a teenager? Tests? School projects? Band concerts? Looking back as an adult you realize how silly and insignificant it all was. In fact you might find yourself wishing you could work on a cool science project one day instead of doing the same thing you do every day at work.
Adult life just isn't fun sometimes. You worry about your job, you worry about funny noises your car is making, you worry about the economy, you worry if you made the right choice buying a house (here's looking at me sometimes...)... Odds are you will love your mom and dad a lot more once you realize you won't be seeing them again every day now.
However, I would ONLY want to be a teen for a week. Because once you're an adult and you move out, it just doesn't feel right having to share a place again with mom and dad
And it is great to drive around in your OWN car to go to your OWN place too, and make your OWN plans without involving them.
