You are on a dark, forested street on the outskirts of Soleanna. Before you stands a tall, wrought iron gate flanked by two posts with burning torches atop them. The glow from the fire illuminates the wreaths hanging from the bars. As you approach, the gates automatically open, showing a long driveway flanked by tall, skinny trees covered in white Christmas lights.

At the far end stands what looks like a 17th century Tuscany-style villa, with floodlights illuminating the creamy yellow stucco walls, topped by crimson- and copper-colored tiles on the roof. A massive Christmas tree stands in the middle of a circular pavement directly in front of the house, sparkling with more white lights and a variety of ornaments, all laid out in emerald greens, shiny golds, and poinsettia reds.

(Picture something like one of these houses: [LINK])

As you walk up to the front door, a polite butler in a white tuxedo bows to you and shows you into the entrance hall. The impressive nature of this place continues inside, as a sweeping grand staircase stands before you, covered in a pristine red carpet that contrasts brilliantly with the white marble floor. More Christmas trees garnished in gold, silver, and white ornaments adorn the room. There are two doorways on either side of the grand hall that you may go through, one leading to the kitchen and another leading to the foyer.
One of the first guests pulled up in a targa top 1969 Ferrari Dino. As the old sports car approached, a red-suited valet quickly approached to greet the driver. The Prancing Horse came to a halt in front of the stairs leading up to the front door, as Giichi Twinkieland stepped out of the car in a dark, crimson-colored tux. Straightening his bowtie, he handed the keys to the valet, but very carefully.

"Please, treat her well. She cost me over 150,000 rings."

"Yes sir! You're in good company here, don't worry!"

The driver quickly jumped into the car and started taking the Ferrari around back, as the sand cat watched him very closely. Once the car was out of sight, he started for the front door, quickly stepping out of the cold and into the warmer foyer. He couldn't help but stop and gaze around in awe at his surroundings. His family was of Soleannean descent, and to see such a gorgeous place made him beam a large smile.

However, he appeared to be alone for the moment, and decided to wait near the front door for more guests to catch up.
Topaz had hurriedly given the valet without even saying anything. She wore a velvet evening gown that had sleeves with a pair of high heels; but yet she wore no makeup. The man who was slowly walking behind her was Cornelius, who was looking particularly glum. His outfit was unusual, to say the least. It looked like a cross between Japanese and western formal wear. He was wearing a black collared shirt, with a black kimono ( that wouldn’t be surprising if some of it was cut to fit inside his pants), and a red Montsuki. But yet, he wore what were formal black pants with a white obi and black dress shoes.

“Why did we come here?” Nel asked dully, putting his hands in his pants pockets.

“Because we were invited here.” Topaz replied, a little tiredly. “Stop being such a grouch and have fun for one!”

Cornelius wasn’t amused by her comment as he grunted aggravatingly, as they walked up the steps to meet with Giichi.

“Hello!” Topaz exclaimed quite happily as she raised up her hand to say hello.

Meanwhile, Nel was a little rude and didn’t say anything at all. Instead, he just seemed to be spacing out as he stared straight at the walls.

I drive into the entrance with my Beatle Bug and stop at the kind butler. "How much do I need to give you for a tip?"

The butler smiles in a bright fashion. "You don't have to give me anything, yet I would at least like that you have a fun time. It would be more than enough of a tip for me."

I park in the back of the foyer and I don't know what to expect. I just know that this is a Christmas Party. I step outside and see Giichi Twinkleland. It makes me happy with glee to see that cat. I don't do anything for a long time. I just stare at him for the moment. Somehow it intrigues me that I see my prey, yet can't pounce on it.

I'm not sure what to think at the sight of the prey I can't pounce on. I guess its Christmas after all. I walk to the front of the foyer and see Giichi stand there. I stand right next to him and my eyes look his way. I smile and allow my blue eyes to shine at him.

I ask the first thing that comes to mind. "Does Christmas make you happy?"
( For the sake of not wanting to ruin the party, Twilight's Night form wiill be exluded from this. )

Twilight flew in and landed on the front driveway. He wore a simply light blue tux. Part of the back was removed to make wearing the shirt easier to wear thanks to his oversized wings. A yellow tie was worn around his neck and a pair of simple balck dress shoes. Without a car, he skipped the valet and approached the group.

"Hello everybody." he said with a hearty smile.
[Remember guys, if it gets too crowded in here, you can move to other rooms. There is a "Foyer" topic as well if you'd like to split off from the group. We'll open up more rooms as needed.

Giichi internally breathed a sigh of relief as more people started to come in after him. He felt rather lonely being just the first person who had arrived.

First group looked to be two humans, one in a positively stunning dress and the other...wearing a very odd mix of Japanese and western formal wear. That button down shirt looked very weird under that coat thing...whatever it was called. Plus he had traditional pants instead of the weird baggy pants these things came with, and black shoes instead of the platform shoes.

However he quickly banished that look from his eyes as they got closer, greeting them with a smile. He didn't want to look as if he were gawking or anything.

"Hi there! My name is Giichi. What's yours?"

However, when looking between the two, he couldn't help but notice a white vixen standing at the entrance door now. The shining white fur made her stand out quite a bit from the surroundings, so she was hard to miss. And she seemed to be looking right at him with more than mere curiosity. Giichi's eyes widened slightly as she walked directly to him and kept staring like that, right up until they were next to each other. Giichi was a little guy, so he had to look up at basically everybody, including her.

What did he do to get this woman interested in him? Granted, the host of the party had forbidden any sort of violence against anyone, even if it was your enemy. You could only have friendly spars outside. But he felt a bit uneasy knowing he might be mingling with Robotnik's lackeys, or military, or cops...

Quote:"Does Christmas make you happy?"

Well...that's a weird ice breaker...

"I...suppose," he answered hesitantly. Afterwards though he realized he sounded awkward with that and brushed it off with a hearty laugh. "Otherwise why would I come out here and dress up so nice?" He held up his arms and shuffled a bit to show off the dark red tux. "My name is Giichi by the way. What's yours?"

Since Tech appeared to be giving him all of her attention, he didn't seem to notice Twilight. Perhaps Nel and Topaz could speak to him in the meantime.
Getting the invitation was more than a little surprising, considering I don't even have an address to mail it too, but here I am. Somehow got an invitation, found my way here, and looking all the more surprised to see the opulence of this place. I'd never seen an individual home this ridiculously done up. Just who the heck was hosting this thing anyway? Nevertheless, it has been far too long since I've celebrated the friends and this time of the year, away from all my friends I felt more lonely and miserable than usual, so I figured I'll just go along with it.

But, now, after seeing how lavish this place was, I suddenly felt rather meek simply WALKING up to the house since I don't own any sort of vehicle. That and I couldn't help shake the feeling this was going to be a much more formal affair. So the sleigh bell harness softly jingling to my every step, holy wreath I was wearing on my head and the bright red nose on the end of my face made me feel terribly out of place and silly. Then again, I was here to have a good time and blow off some steam, so if anyone turns up their nose at me, to heck with them. I'll just turn on MY nose and blind them.

The valet politely nodded as I walked past and even nodded in approval of my 'Rudoplh' outfit with a chuckle. It went some way to boost my confidence and I walked up the steps and entered the building.

From the looks of things, there were already some guests here, many of them very well dressed. The inside was even more lovely that the outside, and a pleasant change from the chilly weather outside. That's about when I noticed Giichi of all people chatting with some of the other guests, two of whom were humans. Giichi was wearing a somewhat garish red tuxedo, but then again, coming from a deer dressed up as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is probably not the first person to be passing fashion judgements around.

"Giichi! You old pocket-picker! Fancy seeing you here." I exclaimed cheerily as I approached. I never expected to see him again, especially after the battle in Solenna.
(Do we have to be as strict with the posts as we do in actual RPGs?)
[this place is getting a little Crowed already. I’ll move these guys into the other topic for now]

“Topaz and this is-” The moment she looked over her shoulder, she saw Cornelius walking away from the group, and over to the Foyer.

“!!! H-HEY! Wait for me!”
(Tech, go ahead and post if you want. I want you to do it before I have Giichi post.)
