I was just curious since I've been playing Days recently (up to 99) and it just occurred to me that I don't think a topic about it was ever started here. So, I wanted to know if there are any other lame people like me that are into the series and would like to infest a thread with geekdom.
Days, for me, has been pretty standard and straightforward, gameplay-wise. I am personally not a big fan of the missions deal. Replaying maps is a little boring, too (It can't compare to the terrifyingly dull levels of CoM on Advance at least.) And the panel system isn't all that impressive although it does make the game more challenging since you can only use all that you link your character to (weapon, abilities, items, levels, magic, boosts, etc.)
Those small downsides aside, it's helping me warm up more to the Organization and seeing them as a group of villains that aren't just the standard "I want to do this because I'm evil". The story has me curious, too. Some of the stuff so far has been pretty predictable, but I'm waiting for something to hit me from left field and make my mind explode. It's bound to happen, I swear.
I guess I'm not as energetic for this game though because recently I've been looking at Birth by Sleep (or BBS) trailers and the story seems like it's something I've been dying to play through. I'm a very big plot/character development whore. That's why I still play some video games here and there. XD And the trailers are so riddled with questions, it makes me fairly giddy for someone who keeps themselves from getting too excited (Blah~ Letdowns.)
=\ Maybe finally a strong female protagonist, too? We'll see.
First trailer
Jump Fest 2008 Trailer
*NEW: Jump Fest 2010 Trailer
The release date is set for the 9th of January in Japan. Still unconfirmed for the United States/Europe. I'm betting summer.
Thoughts?
