Decoe and Bocoe
09-13-2009, 02:45 PM
Name: Decoe
Surname*: Tobin “Tobi” Mayes De’Louve
Age:????? (Possible a little over 50, maybe even 60. Acts way younger though)
Sex: None (Looks to be male though, he could be mistaken as a girl from a far away distance due to his personality. )
Species: Robot (More preferably, Android )
Alignment: Good
Appearance:
Decoe stands about 6 feet ([???]Not sure. He’s going to be as tall as Robotnik though) with a small and thin frame. His eye color is a deep Red Violet and his messy stuck-up hair is a golden blonde. His arms are still metallic in color, except for a metal plate which sticks out in which acts as a shoulder blade ( a large one at that). The rest of the arms are just cylinders that come to a cleverly designed ball joint. His hands seem normal, but his fingers still need in work as they are pointed at the ends (and are quite sharp). His legs are the same as his arms, and as for his feet they have a pair of yellow shoes which are Gears(skate gears). There are also what appear to be old headphones attached to his head that will not come off, which are simply grey.
Outfit #1: These are the clothes he’s in when Gerald was working on him and when he’s found. It’s a bright red sleeveless shirt with a hood, and tan shorts that are a little too long ( or are they a pair of pants that are too short?). Before being completed, Decoe will wrap what he can of his arms and legs to hide what they really look like.
Outfit #2: A sort of Aqua-green-sh collared shirt, white vest, and a pair of dark blue jeans that have a yellow strip where the knees are. HE can also be seen wearing a white overcoat and a white fedora hat with a design on the cloth border consisting of black and the same aqua-green-ish color of his colored shirt. Lastly, he has two yellow pins that are shaped as a strange emblem; hold his cuffs together on his collar shirt along with having two yellow armbands that are placed were his elbows are.
Personality: For a robot, Decoe has quite a lot of human-like emotions.
Decoe is innocent thinking, nice, and kind hearted. He enjoys helping anyone in any way he can and putting a smile on people’s faces. He’s honest to others, rarely ever lying, as well as a cheerful and happy outlook and the ability to take the stand and lead when the need
arises. He likes to stand for all things good and can see a good side to anyone (Unless they’re completely crazy or something. Then it might be kinda hard for him to do so) and dislikes it when people do bad things to others or discriminate as he would like everyone to just gets along. Decoe would rather negotiate it out and talk sense into people, than to fight.
Though despite his good-nature, he’s quite the coward. He can try to stand up for what he thinks is right, but he can just as easily back down and subdue to whoever he works for. There will be times that he will stand his ground firmly, but that is rare and all depends on the circumstances. And once he begins to panic, it’s extremely hard to get him to get his cool. And even though he can lead at times, he’s usually lost due to the need of somebody else to lead him. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed and is quite clumsy, with both bad and dumb luck. He’s also a bit on the sensitive side, and can easily be depressed as he doesn’t like the idea of being completely useless, ignored, or forgotten; alongside that having a guilty conscious to boot. And he can easily blow they’re cover as he never goes along with Bocoe’s quick thinking and ends up spilling just about everything out of confusion and just plain blunt honesty.
Weapons: Decoe carries around two BFR .50 Beowulf’s [ http://www.gunblast.com/images/BFR-50Beo...C-001F.jpg ] mortified to shoot laser rounds used by replaceable energy cartridges. There are two settings, one is a basic stun and the other is a piercing beam ( in which, he only uses with robots). Both have pearl handles with a butterfly etched design. These are gained by Professor Orville later in the rp.
Moves/Combat Style:
Decoe doesn’t fight, ergo he doesn’t have moves, and ergo he doesn’t have a combat style.
Skills: (once completed, Decoe will have the following skills)
Computer/Tech: Being a robot makes learning a lot easier. After Orville’s update, Decoe now knows the in’s and out’s of a computer and any similar tech. From programming to hacking, to fixing computer codes and repairing all the systems Decoe can do it all.
Advanced Shot: Being an android, Decoe seems to have almost perfect aim, with moving and none moving targets. This being due to several elements, such as programming, steadiness in the arms, and a being able to judge distance (and not just ‘distance’, but if person is running X fast, then I must shoot like this).
Gears: Strangely enough, Decoe has found that he can use his Skating Gears extremely well due to quick reflexes and agility (also really long legs help).
Communications: Not really a skill, but it should be noted that both Decoe and Bocoe have a radio connection between them, so they can talk to each other without having to open there mouths as well as figure out where the other is.
Strengths for this are Being able to communicate with one another( and other teammates) without having to yell or shout so no one alerts the enemy, while also being able to find an exact location.
Weakness included, being easier to hack into using the line which can result in hearing the conversation or sometimes even their thoughts, as well as being able to trace where the other one is at.
Strengths:
+*Better Agility than the normal robot ( or human for that matter. Though, an anthro could beat him any day).
+*Quicker than a normal robot (and human. Still no match for an anthro).
+Good with Computers and Tech.
+Good with using Skate gears.
+ Gets along with other people easily.
+Supurb gun slinging skills.
+ Strategic Thinker
+ Is not easily damaged. He won't go out as easy as a human, but he's not Bocoe.
(* this is due to the mechanics that were used with him and the light yet durable material when he was created )
Weaknesses:
- He isn’t made out of the best materials in the world, so he can really only sustain damaged more than a regular human and the damage can’t be too extreme.
- Electrical pulses can quickly take him out.
-Clumsy. Surprisingly. Of course, this does not count with his gears as it’s the only time he’s –not- clumsy.
-Despite being an android and having laser rounds, holding a 50 caliber gun in one hand will always result in some recoil, so don’t expect too much quick, continuous fire.
-Honesty. As said before, he can spill the truth very easily due to his honest nature.
-Gullible. Not that he can’t tell when someone lying, but if he doesn’t know how the person is (good/evil), he’ll be very easily blind in trust.
-Cowardice. It doesn’t take much to get Decoe scared and he can back down quickly. Usually, this implies with threats (This is also, sometimes a plus. If he gets scared to do something, and you threaten him to “do this or I’ll do (something worse” then he’ll go through with it. You can also do this just on regular bases. But of course, that means he has no will of his own.)
-Panicky. Once things begin to go downhill, expect him to start panicking and it’s hard once he starts. (Though, a few quick hit or slaps will help him calm down a lot…)
Interesting side notes:
Decoe can gain energy several ways. He can sleep to recharge as well as connect himself to a electrical outlet with a special cord ( though it’s noted that when hooked up, he sucks most of the power out of the house so even if a light’s on it turns off until he’s unplugged) as well eating food.
Sleeping is the more common method, and the connecting of the electrical outlet isn’t used often. Eating is used often, but it’s not a great source of energy. And all of these is possible with a special kind of energy converter reactor.

Name: Bocoe
Surname*: Braxton “Brax” Monty De’Louve
Age:????? (Possible a little over 50, maybe even 60. Acts way younger though)
Sex: None (Looks to be male though)
Species: Robot (More preferably, Andriod )
Alignment: Good
Appearance: Bocoe stands around 5’5 with a large, heavy build. His short, silver-bluish hair seems to ridge back with an unusually large cowlick that goes back and starts where his hair line is, his bangs hanging down and yet out of his face. His robotic arms look like Dark-grey tubes with ridges that can bend (this going along with his legs). His feet are covered with shoes with are grey with a metal plate covering the outside area of the toe. (They are unfinished skating gears for the record.)
Outfit #1: This is what he’s first seen in. Much like Decoe’s, he wears a blue short sleeved shirt with a hood and a pair of jeans.
Outfit #2: Bocoe wears a oversized orange, collared shirt with a black boarder at the ends of his shirt with a pair of blue jeans that have black lines that circle around the pants legs going from the top to the bottom with big gaps in between. He also wears a red jacket that has a lone grey strip dividing the top of the jacket to the bottom and grey round-like shoulder pads and grey strips that go from the beginning of his sleeves to the end. And lastly, he wears a red tie quiet loosely that bears a strange emblem in grey as well as a large brown belt with two big pockets.
Personality: For a robot, Bocoe has quite a lot of human emotions.
Much like Decoe, Bocoe is a kind-hearted and nice. He enjoys giving a helping hand to anyone he can, and feels most rewarded whenever he’s able to put a smile on people’s faces, whether by helping or by doing a friendly joke. He is usually honest to people, friendly, and enjoys company. He has the same type of thinking as Decoe due to the fact that they were both made by Gerald (which explains why they like to help so much, “To help and benefit mankind” and all that jazz). He’s also quite laid back and can keep his cool easily, not fretting about too many things unless he really needs too. He would rather talk things out than to fight, but when there seems to be no other way, Bocoe will fight to protect.
But, much like Decoe, he is also clumsy. Maybe not as much as Decoe, being the one who can keep his cool, but he ends up going along with Decoe since he’s the one to make the ‘big decisions’. After all, Decoe has more of the brains and book smarts than he does and plus, he’s not so good with the whole ‘leading’ thing. But he is defiantly the backbone and nerves of steel in their little operation, because Decoe obviously doesn’t have one. He also is much like the adult because he perceives things in a much more adult way. Unlike Decoe who really dislikes hurting anyone at all, Bocoe realizes that sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. And unlike Decoe who seems to never get angry, Bocoe will have his few shares of blowing his top (in which you have to feel sorry for the poor sap who ends up fighting him while he’s ticked, because he goes over his usually line of strength when angry). He’s also quite good at making up excuses at the last moment to keep them undercover (Now, if only Decoe would learn how to go along).
Bio: (just add this to the end, these events are supposed to happen during the events of the rp where he was not present.)
After traveling to Station Square, Bocoe managed to run into some small trouble. As Decoe went out exploring the alleys on his own, Bocoe decided to go out on his own as well. Through he happened upon a particular scene. An old, being held up against a wall by another larger man, and three other men around his sides. Of course, he managed to save the old man by first scaring off two of the thugs, and then just totally one-hit-knock down the others; Because everyone that four unskilled fighters with only switch knives are obviously no match against a super-strong and armored android. The first two were scared off when Bocoe picked up a metal baseball bat that was bent and managed to bend it back making the bat straight. One of the thugs tried to stab him, but with no actually harm done on Bocoe’s side as he simply punched thugs lights out. The larger thug (more obviously the leader) somehow ignores the fact that he couldn’t be stabbed and tries to punch him, only to learn that punching metal is hard. Bocoe takes him out by throwing him to the ground, in which, after he was able to finally able to move, ran away.
The old man presented himself to Bocoe as Professor Orville De’Louve, and offered to help Bocoe in any way that he could to repay him. After a small talk (mainly, Bocoe telling him of their little situation including Gerald) Orville tells Bocoe that he might be able to complete them, and asks for Bocoe to follow. Though he denies only because he has to get his brother, Decoe in which Orville writes down the address of where he lives and gives it to him. Bocoe takes it and walks off in search of Decoe so that he might be able to tell him the good news…
(continues in rp)
Weapon: A metal Pole-hammer. A hammer attached to a 5 foot pole. Enough said.
Moves/Combat Style: (All of this and down is when he’s completed.)
Though he’s not really a master, it’s not too much to say that he can’t cause some damage. With either his fist or a giant metal hammer, He can easily plow through a crowd of people or a rock wall ( though, metal walls will take a couple of hit more than rock which will take around two with hammer). And He himself isn’t very easy to knock down due to how much he weighs and the metal that was used when making him.
But he’s also very slow, so when the battle is a little too rough, it’s going to make it hard to retreat and hitting faster objects is always a hassle when you can’t move so fast you’re self. And fighting with someone with a range weapon is impossible, because he’ll never be fast enough to reach them.
His way of fighting is simple, yet effective. He usually lets the enemy come to him while he swings some hits around. He’s better with fighting with his hammer than with his fists and he has more damage power with his hammer so he rarely leaves without it.
Moves: None. He’s not that good to have special moves as he’s still more in fighting basics than anything.
( I might get back to this one sometime later.)
Skills:
Engineering/Machinery: Thanks to the power of downloading, Bocoe learned how use and create large pieces of machinery. He can fix, modify, and create anything having to do with machinery such as cars, gears, construction equipment, airplanes/airships and large robots of destruction. He also knows how to drive and control the pieces of machinery that can move to full extent.
Computer/Tech: He knows the basic factions of the computer, but as for the complicated stuff he has no clue. He couldn’t hack into a phone, let alone make a website. He would rather leave Decoe with all the tec-y know-how.
Strengths:
+ High Strength.
+ High Defense.
+ Ability to think of cover, and quickly.
+ Engineering/Machinery making/fixing& use.
+Courage
Weaknesses:
- Slow.
- Clumsy.
- Electrical pulses can quickly take him out.
- Not all that smart. He finds it hard to figure things out, like putting in a puzzle or trying to disarm a bomb. It’s just not for him.
Interesting side notes:
Bocoe can gain energy several ways. He can sleep to recharge as well as connect himself to a electrical outlet with a special cord ( though it’s noted that when hooked up, he sucks most of the power out of the house so even if a light’s on it turns off until he’s unplugged) as well eating food.

[* The surname was given to them by Professor Orville for the sack of makeing sure no one finds out that they were created by Professor Gerald. After all, he has no idea what could happen, so for security measures, he gave them more ‘practical’ names (along with giving them his own last name) Though it should be noted that Zelda was the one who picked them out.]
NPCS :
Name: Professor Orville Ree De’Louve
Age: 65
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
Hair: White, slight crew cut.
Eye Color: Brown.
Skin Color: Darker than just Pale.
Height: 5’6
Clothes: White lab coat, brown, slightly over side, polo shirt and a pair of carpenter jeans.
Personality: There are three words to sum up Orville. A kind, disorderly, old man. But to be more precise, Orville is an eccentric kind of guy. He’s generally a kind and nice person, but he’s diffidently and oddball of a person. In the extremeness of his completely cluttered and messy household, one could tell you that his house is not only cluttered with research papers from the past to recent date, but also of misalliances items such as comic books ( in which he continues to in fact, buy) a large collection of old video games, and other knick-knacks to old things that Orville will simply not let go of. If his row house or any house in particular could describe the insides of his mind, then it would be cluttered. Which is in fact true, because his own made hectic schedule, Orville has the tendency of forgetting things; from where he places something to remembering what someone told him. Other than that he can be described as being quiet stale, as he’s usually very calm and level headed. He’s also the kind that has a sense of justice around him, and has the interest of other people in mind than himself. Which is obvious when you look at his house, because he doesn’t care too much about his own safety.
Relation to Character: Not much relation to the characters just yet, but he was saved by Bocoe. He also is supposed to (future reference) is the prime beneficiary of a certain special faction he’s been working on, since he has a lot of money on his hands. (in fact, he has too much.)
Skills: Minor: Computer & robotic (AI) programming (includes hacking)
Major: Robotics and Engineering
Uses for character: Professor Orville is mainly used to be the sort of commander/medical character for Decoe and Bocoe. Not only that, but he’s also a father figure to them as well (seeing how Gerald is dead). He’ll basically make sure Decoe and Bocoe are in top condition as well as give inteal information while they (and any other members) are going through a particular mission.
Name: Zelda Avril De’Louve
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Species: Human
Appearance:
Hair: Platinum blonde, hair ends at her back and bangs are parted to the left.
Eye Color: Hazel
Skin Color: peach
Height: 5’2
Clothes: Varies. (I personally can’t put all of what she wears. Basically because her wardrobe is so big. I will tell in a post, though, what she does wear, and for a premise I will say this much. She basically is cosplaying most of the time, but the actually mangas and animes don’t exist in the SA world. For example, one day she could be in what Winery (a character from Full Metal Alchemist) to something else. She can sometimes be seen in something else, but it’s rare. )
Personality: Is there really much to say about Zelda’s personality? Well, there is, at least, a little to say. Firstly, if in fact blonde people were in fact dumb, and how blonde they were showed just how stupid they are, then Zelda would be at the top with her natural platinum blonde hair. Though, that might be a little harsh to say, none-the-less she is quiet ditzy, just as much as her cheerfulness. She’s always happy, unless you manage to make her sad, which can be a feat to do. She’s also quiet artist, and can usually be seen drawing. It should also be known that she is mischievous at times and can be known to burn money quiet. She’s also quiet flirtatious around boys, and is generally very teenerager-y
Relation to Character: None as of yet, but she has relations to Orville being his granddaughter and all.
Skills: Drawing, creating clothes, and being able to spend a lot of money, fast on useless and trivial things. Not to mention annoy.
Use for Character: Plot devices, comic relief (I don’t see why though, since Decoe is –already- comic relief), and just some extra interactions for Decoe, Bocoe, and any other characters. She also might be considered a little sister or cousin to the two androids.

Sleeping is the more common method, and the connecting of the electrical outlet isn’t used often. Eating is used often, but it’s not a great source of energy. And all of these is possible with a special kind of energy converter reactor.
