Dakoter A.:
Aquatic Base - Western Isle
Dak had left the bridge an hour before, and now stood at a large window at the head of the manta, taking in the scenery through his own eyes and not some LCD monitor.
The dolphins were back.
"Approaching Destination," The computer announced. "ETA is Five Minutes."
He sighed and stretched as the Manta skimmed over the sea floor. It had been a rather uneventful trip, but he'd rather it that way, considering Asher was on board.
Speaking of which, he didn't know where the girl had run off to now; she always found some way and reason to disappear...
He sighed again and headed for the bridge, rubbing his eyes in the process; he probably should have napped on the way there: it would be a long few days overseeing the construction.
---
A few miles off the coast of Western Isle, an underwater mountain range rose from the otherwise smooth sea floor. It was here, in a large valley between two merging chains, that the manta class settled. It's jets worked in perfect synchrony, positioning the huge craft in the tight space under a large mountain overhang, and gigantic clouds of sand billowed from under the metal titan. The twelve other ships circled the commotion like sharks, surveying the seascape for any other signs of intelligent life.
---
The wolves sipped from cans of Chaos Cola as the Manta Class settled into it's final resting place: the craft was actually the main body of the base to be, and though it would undergo some underwater modifications, it would remain generally as is. Ten anchors locked the metallic giant in place under the overhang, and then the sturgeons swooped down, along with the minnow's.
The second largest ships would also become part of the landscape, attached to the Manta by extra parts carried with the minnows... soon. For now, worker-bots, modified for the surroundings, poured out of the minnows, become schools, themselves. Pieces of the base were toed out into the depths as well, an the true construction began.

[IT'S JUST LIKE SILENT SCOPE! <3 D= Buckle down, kiddies]
The first day had worn on painfully slow, though enough progress had been made to ensure a reprimand-free progress report. One of the sturgeon-class subs and plenty of other areas had already been attached and built onto the base-to-be, and the site was actually starting to look like a center-of-operations. Minnow ships darted into and out of the overhang, making room for each other in tight space, dropping materials to the workers, or lugging scrap out to a quickly building mountain of trash. Everything was going smoothly.
That didn't ease the annoyance of lupine enemy number one: boredom.
In fact, at least half of the sentient population on board the manta was succumbing to the lack of stimuli. Dak sat in his seat at the bridge, head resting on the keys in front of him; he might as well have been dead. The young Furre had stopped monitoring the base's progress sometime ago; there was little chance of there being a problem, anyway.
He could always commandeer a laser gun and... Nah; Asher didn't like that game. He sighed, half wishing something interesting would happen.
::
A long ways away from the bridge, Asher watched as the workers threaded a new cable system through the quickly forming base to the Mantas two main engines. Three robots had already approached the girl, advising her to leave the area, but she persisted; the Doctor had really made those things way too paranoid.
The drones worked around the twin engines, dismembering, rebuilding, hacking apart and rewiring the two pieces of machinery as cables of all sizes were connected and grouped together, and plugged into outlets all around the chamber. It was messy business, and the flashes and sparks put the largest fireworks displays to shame. This was the sole spectators main reason for being there: it was all just one big pyrotechnics display.
Pup, just where are you? A familiar voice asked over her COM. Link. She flicked her ears and replied.
Engine room. You should come down and see it! There was a moment of silence, before her brother piped up, again.
Thats the last place you need to be at; come back to the bridge.
You sound just like those robots! Im not even in the way!
You dont have to be in the way for an accident to happen- get out of the engine room!
Im Just Watching!! the girl snarled through the microphone. Soon enough, shed turn off the communicator altogether and turn back to the construction. Really, who was Dak to tell anyone about care and caution? He had one of the most reckless jobs there was! She huffed, crossing her arms and trudging down the platform she had picked to sightsee from; old people were so hypocritical. This stunk.
Her nose twitched; it really was starting to smell bad. The stench was familiar, however; it was just like when they were refueling the airships in the hangars.
" Oh" fuel. It was giving her a headache, and so the pup figured it was time to go- of her own accord, of course: not because anyone told her to.
::
Sparks flew from an engine section as a drone welded on a new extension. Such was the scene in many areas, as diligent robots completed their tasks. So programmed to be absorbed in their task, none of the workers noticed the fuel leaking from one of the motors. It was more than a trickle, less than a spout, and enough to pool on the floor around the machine. Asher trotted right past the puddle, coughing and covering her nose as the odor was strongest, and headed for the doorway out of the offensive area. Just before the door, she turned to look back into the large space, and cocked her head as a robot started up a new, brilliant shower of sparks cascading onto the ground. The resulting flare and explosion was ten times more awe-inspiring.
The large engine went off, blowing out the room and rocking the whole of the submarine. The craft was wrenched from its anchors; its rear shot upwards from the force of two blasts, for the second engine had combusted due to its partner's malfunction. The rising stern caught a Minnow and crushed it against the ceiling of the overhang, another explosion throwing the Manta back down to the sea floor. Fragments of rock fell from the shattered roof, catching two more Minnows and slamming one onto the manta and another onto the rock bed. More boulders crashed onto the largest ship, which was now leaning to one side. A couple of jets were spurting as the ship tried to reposition itself, much like a dying animal trying to get back on its feet. An S.O.S. signal from the bridge called to the remaining ships and distant Robotnik Island before it, too, died out. The bridge itself had caved and flooded under one of the bludgeoned Minnows.
::
13. The fleet of 13 was reduced to eight: an aimless school of eight without any lead or inclination. The seven Minnows and one Sturgeon hovered around the tragedy as oil and fuel leaked to the surface in thick, black stacks. Soon, the overhang collapsed onto the remains of the Manta, burying the craft where it lay. They just seemed to watch the scene in silent shock, waiting for another order from the bridge. They'd wait until Robotnik called them back to the Island. April Fools <3.

The Great Robotnik:
Dak would receive a message soon after Asher had turned off the comms unit, flashing up on whatever device he had to hand that could receive email.
"Rose has summoned everyone to the War Room in an hour's time. I am personally requesting your presence as I will be using the time to brief everyone for the final time as to the plan. I realise that you won't be able to get here in an hour's time, so I suggest you take the chance to test out the video calling kit inside the holo-chamber, using the attached driver. It should project a three-dimensional holographic image of the room and individuals within around you, and back here we will see a similar image of you as you fit into our surrounds."

Dakoter A.:
Dak read and reread the message, then promptly exclaimed: "Alright! VR station!"
...
He soon collected himself and made a mental note to erase the systems video and audio logs. he got to his feet and headed for the engine room to collect his sister, and possibly pick up a laser gun along the way.

A notification of a message would appear on whatever device Dakoter was currently using for holo-messaging.
Once Dakoter opened it, a holographic image of the young Robotnik would flash up, sitting at the great monitor of the Mainframe.
"General Artemis," it began "myself and Security Chief Rose Fox are on our way over to personally oversee the final stages of constuction, and run the last of the security checks. I also intend to collect the girl, seeing as how you have failed miserably to return her to the main island," the hologram said with a sly grin on his face. "Prepare for our arrival, within the hour. Out."
The image would conclude with Robotnik's hand reaching forward to the console in front and pressing a button, the hologram blinking before zipping away.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jun. 29 2007,19:36
Dak and Asher returned to the bridge, only to find the message waiting as a little blinking button at the terminal. The older lupine walked over none-too-quickly and hit said blinker.
The message literally popped up in front of them, Robotnik's smiling features beaming at them.
"...myself and Security Chief Rose Fox are on our way over..." Okay, that wasn't not so bad. He half expected something like it-
"...intend to collect the girl, seeing as how you have failed miserably to return her..." The message clicked off, leaving the siblings in silence.
Failed to return her?? He said she could stay aboard! Dak mused and growled. Asher vocalized his thoughts.
"Um~ he's joking, right? Didn't he say..."

[from Cross Country]
The second manta powered into view of the underwater base. Its location a few miles from the coast was a good choice by Dakoter.
Coming into radio range, Robotnik transmitted the clearance codes, and awaited confirmation of their receipt.

[From Cross Country]
By then Rose had opened her eyes, feeling a bit better than before. She covered her mouth as she yawned, and then folded her arms as she tried to keep her eyes from shutting again.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jun. 29 2007,20:39
Dak sat at the desk, tapping away at random keys. He was pretty much fuming over the Doctor's sudden decision to take Asher away.
Again. It were times like these that made him want to desert.
A request for clearance showed up on the screen. The system verified the codes; it was him and Rose. All that was need was his final permission. He would have liked to deny it, but figured the two computer-brains would easily find a way to override it, and he with a click, sent the message back to the new Manta.

Powering into the docking bay, the ship powered down and locked into position. The air lock blasted the water out, and soon the green light came on, showing they could enter.
Leaving Rose where she was, Robotnik clicked his fingers. The droids all marched out in unison towards the largest chamber in the complex.

As Rose saw Robotnik leave, she got up and followed.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jun. 29 2007,21:33
It was into this large area that Dak came down from the bridge. He didn't care that Asher was taking her time in following suit.
He watched as Robotnik, Rose, and their needless robot escorts arrived. He simply nodded, not bothering to hide and aggravation in his voice.
"Doctor... Rose."
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jun. 29 2007,21:43
"Hello boys and girls!" Robotnik grinned, as always lately. "I come bringing gifts - new uniforms! You'll both be required to wear them when we make our broadcast in the next few hours. There's one for Rose too."
As he walked past Dakoter, he paused. "Oh, April Fools, my dear boy. April fools."
And with that, he strolled off to his newest control room with a skip in his step, happy that he had kept his staff on their toes.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jun. 29 2007,21:46
Rose looked in confusion with his sudden mood change, and also at what he said.
Uniforms?
She wasn’t exactly liking the sound of it.
She began following soon afterwards, not paying much mind to the two wolvies.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 17 2007,20:59
Never before had his urge to kill rose to such extreme levels.
"IT'S NOT THE FIRST!.... IT'S NOT EVEN APRIL!" He yelled at the doctor as he headed for the bridge. His voice echoed around the chamber and down the walkway.
".. I hate my life..."
---
Asher, on the other hand, was perfectly oblivious to the horrible mind games going on deeper within the ship. She chose to blatantly ignore the newcomers until they stormed in on the bridge, Dak's shout following behind them.
"Hey, Eggman."
[sorry I need some comic relief. stop messing with your subordinates' minds, you xD]
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 17 2007,21:44
Strolling onto the bridge, Robotnik ignored Asher completely, blanking the little whipper-snapper and choosing to look straight ahead out into the depths of the ocean.
"Hmm..." he pondered out loud, "I wonder how much air a four foot tall anthro-wolf would need... I indeed wonder if we have the required wetsuits..."
He then - accidentally, of course - spun round and nearly knocked into the younger Artemis.
"Why young Asher!" he exclaimed, mocking surprise. "How long have you been here for?"
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 17 2007,21:49
Rose stopped as soon he spun around, almost hitting the little wolf. The look on her face was that of curiosity as she wondered how out of hand he was going to go. But, at the same time, the young wolf deserved getting kicked for calling him by that stupid nickname. But for now, she stayed silent until need and when ever Robotnik would tell her to start doing all the security checks.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 17 2007,22:01
The wolf pup stumbled back a foot or so, not exactly expecting the human to turn as he did. As soon as she got her balance, she snapped right back at him.
"Gee; that's the best you could think of? No wonder the world still isn't wire and steel."
---
Dak returned just in time to hear the commotion, and bit his lip to keep himself quiet.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 17 2007,22:13
"Are you sure you two are related?" Robotnik asked Dakoter as he turned up. "Asher is unnecessarily rude."
Facing Rose, he nodded at her. It was the sort of nod that said "get on with it".
Returning his attention to Dakoter, the young Ivo rocked on his feet.
"There's been a slight change to the plans."
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 18 2007,12:22
Well, there was the order.
Rose turned back towards the where the ship laid docked and went into the largest chamber of the complex where the droids had marched too. Rose’s foots steps echoed through the hallway as she entered the large room, where twenty droids stood in rows of two. Rose stopped as she got close to them and sighed.
“ Okay....The droids in the right row. I need you guys to go and get all the security systems online. Droids in the left row. I need you guys to complete all the security checks on all the electric appliances. I want the right row of droids to go right and the left row of droids to go left and do what you need to do one by one so you don’t skip anything, got it?”
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 19 2007,13:22
The older wolf only shook his head and shrugged in response to Robotnik's question. As Rose headed out after the Doctor's silent order, Dak cocked his headed to Robotnik's latest statement.
"Annnnnd... those changes, are?"
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 19 2007,14:08
]#Yes Master Fox - Orders Received And Understood#[ the robots all chimed in unison. Rose had given her orders to them perfectly, however she hadn't told them to go. They remained in front of Rose, awaiting the order to go.
Meanwhile Robotnik had guaged Dakoter's interest.
"Yes, Commander General Artemis," he smiled. "A minor change in plans. The plan being a lure... bait. Supposing we let slip the location of this place, and attracted someone's attention? Sure, the hedgehog would stay away. But what about my recently deserting rat of a second in command?"
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 19 2007,15:37
“ Good. Now get to work. And make sure -nothing- goes wrong.” Once she made things clear, she turned around and began to walk back. Hopefully, nothing would mess up on her.
Hopefully.
As she walked, she fount a bit of agitation that came from the back of her head. Using her right hand, she began to mess with her hair, which was in a tight bun, and took a pen out. To her unsatisfaction, though, there was still an annoyance. So, she took some more hair pins out. And, that would continue on until every signal pin was out and all that was left, was a pony tail. By the time she would arrive, they would notice this, and that the pony tail that was once in the middle of her head was now near her neck and her hair going down to the end of her back. Also, there would be a annoyed face too.
[ Sorry to post all that useless crap, but I had to do it soon. XD]
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 19 2007,16:03
"Hmm?"
He really wanted to use the base as one big rat trap? What a waste. He'd rather have forgotten about "Alarielle" altogether; he was never supposed to be part of the Empire in the first place...
"How do you know he'd take the bait?... Knowledge of this base could attract anyone but said rat."
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 19 2007,16:39
"Because he will come looking for answers to his past," Robotnik smiled, leading up to pull his own line in.
"Remember I told you about having watched the security files, Dakoter?"
He placed a little bit of emphasis on the name as he rocked on his feet, knowing that Rose had emerged into the room - he assumed that the job was done. The change in hair had been noted, but his attention was firmly on the wolf whom he hoped was about to feel as small as a gnat underneath a giant's newly-booted size 27 foot.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 19 2007,16:44
Rose stood in silence, as she had nothing else to do.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 19 2007,16:52
[ABORT MISSION!]
Something about his tone made the wolf seem like a gnat underneath a giant's newly-booted size 27 foot, and he flattened his ears accordingly. glanced between her brother and Robotnik, ears down as well.
Something told them it wasn't a continuation of his anachronism of an April Fool's joke.
"Oh?..."
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 19 2007,17:39
"Yes," he said, stroking his chin as he began a gentle stroll around the control room - making sure to steer well clear of anyone's grabbing range, "I was wondering how Alarielle came into our employ and so I check the security feeds at the same time as many other things I was curious about."
He had his back to Dakoter at this point, and turned his head so the profile view was visible. His eyes were looking down and towards the wolf.
"Did you know that his name wasn't Alarielle Rose?" Robotnik asked. "It turns out our human friend was suffering from amnesia. And the equipment to repair such ailments could well be stored... here?"
Robotnik turned full body to face Dakoter.
"You gave him access to the security files. Heck, he's been reading through everything that he's had access to - his mental capacity for learning is immense. He knows everything about our operations. This is why the plan has changed, because of your incompetence. Now the plan is to recapture him at all costs, before he can pass on his information to someone who can make use of it. If F4 or GUN gain it we are out on a limb, and will have to start from scratch. And it is all because of you, Commander General Dakoter Artemis, that Alarielle had access to this information in the first place."
He looked at Rose briefly. "Do you know anything of this? I imagine not." He studied her for a reaction, before returning his now angry eyes back in the direction of the wolf.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 19 2007,17:45
" I'm afraid not." Rose answered him, " That was the second day that I've been in the empire."
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 19 2007,18:08
Dak tried to keep a striaght face as he watched and listened to Robotnik; his little mind game had boiled down much too soon for his own comfort... It was mostly the Doctor's glare that disturbed him, to the point that he lowered his head in submission.
Not that he wasn't going to give the game one final round..
"Not that the current problem was my intent... Prior to the Never Lake incident, we- you and I- had already decided to.. 'draft' him into the Empire..." he paused to think over his story. It actually wasn't to much of a stretch; he really wasn't lying...
"Between all the meetings and assignments after we returned from Never Lake, I didn't have time or chance to reveal the true situation, having had to keep up the ruse in front of him in meetings, or being off on your direction. Nor did I expect it to snowball as it has.
"In truth, it wouldn't have had he not been able to leave the island in the first place."
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 19 2007,18:23
Robotnik liked his style - moving the blame onto someone else and trying to make his own situation look rosey?
"Sorry, but I recall seeing you bringing him onto the island and educating him. I don't recall a conversation about enrolling him - you did however tell me he was my advisor and second in command... As penalty, your sister shall be removed forthwith and detained back at the island, under guard for twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. She will be well looked after, and I thought I could trust you - but you have shown yourself to be utterly unreliable."
At a click of the fingers, two SWATbots showed up at the doorway.
"Take this one back to my craft," he said, indicating Asher, "and watch her until I return." He then returned his attention to Dakoter. "Taking your sister is punishment enough, I have no need to strip you of rank. Do this again and I shall remove my offer of aiding you and Asher."
Robotnik was now fully up to speed on events in the Empire, and had made his displeasure known. The robots marched into the room and stood behind Dakoter, waiting for him to move.
Robotnik turned his face into an evil grin.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 19 2007,18:30
Rose merely blinked in response to the current situation, and stood aside, since she was directly behind the wolf.
The evil grin that Robotnik was showing made her do a grin just as evil, though, she bit the inside of her lip instead of doing so. As far she could tell, it wasn’t a good idea with the wolf being in the same room. She was trying -not- to make enemies in the empire, unless she saw fit.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 19 2007,20:04
Robotnik's smile was not returned, in fact, Dak was on the verge of snapping altogether.
He could always destroy the robots.. and Robotnik would just call in more. He could always destroy Robotnik but Fox would call in more.... he really didn't want to deal with Rose...
Rose moved from behind him, and he turned his glare from Robotnik and gazed apologetically to Asher; he had messed up, again, and now his sister was going to be stuck on the island, again. Unwillingly he stepped aside.
Of course, Asher had no intent of going with her two metallic escorts.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 20 2007,07:49
"Do not even think of losing your temper, Dakoter," the doctor said as he moved to allow the robots to perform their task. "I'm sure you would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things to me right now, but look at it this way; your sister is much safer on the island."
He stooped down to her leve. "Especially if she cooperates."
The droids stood by her side.
"Either go willingly, or be dragged. It's your choice," he said, then looked at Rose. "Of Dakoter is right about another thing... how did he leave the island without security knowing about this?" he asked, now building up to make Rose feel incredibly small.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 20 2007,17:04
Oh. Crap.
Those two worlds match perfectly with the expression on her face. After a few seconds though, it went to a dull-ish angry. Her day just got worse.
“ Bbbeeecccaaauusseee I always- mess up on something......” Rose replied placing her hands in the pockets of her overcoat. She wished she would have said “ Who the hell gave me this job any how! They certainly didn’t ask -me- if I cared. ” But it was useless to whine.
Anyways, it didn’t matter much to her. She would take what would come to her -even IF- she didn’t -like it-. She was here -for- the empire and nothing else, unlike most she’s seen around the place.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 21 2007,21:46
Asher only replied with a lofty 'hmph," passing the older occupants of the bridge and not stopping for the robots.
"I don't need an escort," she stated, not caring if the Doctor heard or not. That Rose girl was talking, anyway.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 22 2007,09:35
The robots marched after Asher, guns set to stun in case she tried anything like running. They would escort her to Robotnik's vessel and await their master's return - if Asher ran, they would open fire - and their guns were trained on her every step of the way.
Robotnik's attention was on Rose now, however.
"I admire that you have taken responsibility for your actions," Ivo started, "but it still doesn't change the fact that we have a major security breach on our hands, one which would be placed at your feet. Dakoter's error was one thing, but if he had remained on the island - as instructed - then you wouldn't be about to receive your own reprimand."
He strolled around a little, thinking as he walked. "Well Rose, I know how to entertain myself at your expense. General Artemis can stay and watch too, now I've said all that needs to be said to him on his own failings."
He strolled around again. "You are going to be the bait to lure Alarielle here to this very base. Or should I say, Eric Law?" he grinned, finally stopping his grand stroll to end all strolls.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 22 2007,10:42
A plain and dull look appeared on her face.
“ So I thought he was dead.” Rose said quietly. “ Around 500 pounds landed on his head, how would I know he would of lived...”
Rose folded her arms as she looked down. Since he knew who he was, Rose didn’t care if she spilled. After all, why wouldn’t she use his amnesia against him in order to help the empire? She didn’t know she was going to bail like he did. That was the only thing she was mistaken of.
Now, she was beginning to not like the wolf very much. Because she was going to turn into a damsel in distress.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 26 2007,11:48
Dak flicked his ears upon hearing the current conversation. He still didn't get how any of it would work... or at least how they'd manage to alert him without getting G.U.N. or anyone else to hop on the bandwagon.
.. Now that he thought about it, the Doc probably didn't care about "collateral knowledge."
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jul. 26 2007,15:22
"Oh, you'll see miss Fox," the young doctor sneered. "I am now returning to the island with Asher. You two can remain here until you are called for."
As he paced towards the docking bays, he paused in the doorway.
"I will be summoning you both, I am not so inconsiderate so as to leave you both here whilst the self-destruct sequence kicks in... When Byrain and Trigger get here with the target, you will contact me immediately. I will then engage in video conference with you all once again, to discuss the next stage of the plan."
With a twinkle in his eye, Robotnik looked at Rose. "If I were you, I would watch the news in a few hours' time," Ivo said with a sly grin.
And with that, he was gone - choosing to ignore anyone should they be calling after him.
[back to Robotnik Island]
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 26 2007,15:40
As he left, Rose stood in silence, watching him go back to the base. As soon as he was completely out of sight ( and out of hearing range) Rose spoke, mostly to herself.
“ The more that I’m here, the more I seem to regret.”
She looked over to the wolf, saying what she said in a very disappointed tone.
“ How ‘bout you?”
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 26 2007,16:04
With a sigh, he shook his head, smirking afterwards.
"I think I've reached the limit in regrets..." he looked up in thought. "Can't say this place doesn't have it's good times, though."
He paused and turned to the human.
"Wait... I thought you were the eager young assistant.."
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 26 2007,16:18
“ I am. Was. But to me, things have been going downhill for me rapidly than usual. First, security, and now I’m bait which goes right into damsel in distress.” she asnwered in a dull manner, putting her hands into her pockets and put a face on to go with her tone.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 26 2007,16:49
His smirked returned as Rose spoke and pouted. It wasn't out of malice; her words were just humorous.
"He's just mad," came his reply. "You can't expect to get away with every err. This 'bait' thing will be over and done with in no time and you won't have to be a 'damsel in distress' anymore after that."
He thought for a moment, soon taking a seat at the controls and opening KBS' news channel. There were no interesting casts at the moment, so he put it on mute, continuing to speak off-handedly.
"I wouldn't grumble about the security post either; he does need someone to keep up security on the "empire," and you're the only one around here qualified, besides the Doc. He obviously sees some potential in you. Just give it some time. You've been around for, what? A week?"
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 26 2007,17:10
" Four days at least." Rose replied turing towards him, along with folding her arms.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 26 2007,17:21
"Not long enough," he responded simply as he opened up more news channels, pushing them off to the side and behind the KBS broadcast. He wondered how long it would really take.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 26 2007,19:23
Rose sighed, still standing and stareing at the screen.
" Not the point." She said, in a matter-of-fact tone. " I'm surprised he doomed us all by putting me as the cheif of security..."
And as a bit of thought trailed from one of the last thing she saide, she went on.
" And the doctor doesn't really need anyone. He's done more than enough by himself."
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 27 2007,22:36
He shook his head at Rose's comment.
"He hasn't taken over by himself, and that's really all that matters. He's gotten close, I suppose, but I don't think it's a one-man, million-robot job- which is how it's been, bar my less-than-useful help up until a while ago."
[hitting the hay for now. ^^ Night!]

" May be so...but how would a couple of bar-none mercenaries be able to be of better help? No offense. As I see it, we could all be replaced by a robot.” Rose was now leaning against the wall, her arms folded ( as usual) as she ‘debated’ with the wolf.

Sighing, he spun the chair around to face the girl, leaving the screen to its own devices.
"Like I said, his relying on his robots alone hasn't gotten the job done yet."
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 29 2007,19:51
" 'Yet' is the thing." Rose replied in a kind of snarl. "It's that stupid hedgehog's fault after all. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be any major problems."
She looked to the side, obviously, she did not like the subject much.

A voice message would flash up on the main screen, awaiting opening. When someone eventually does, Robotnik's voice rings out clear and true.
Dakoter and Rose, this is Doctor Robotnik, the world's greatest scientific genius and your master. We have an emergency situation at the island base. You are now both required to personally aid the worker droids with their security measures. If anybody other than Byrain and Trigger arrive, destroy them. I repeat, ANYBODY apart from those two agents - and myself and Asher, and Rose's droids of course.
I shall brief everyone properly when the four of you are united and ready.
The message cut out quickly, hopefully emphasising the seriousness of the situation Dakoter and Rose could potentially be in.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Aug. 09 2007,00:22
[Sorry, Rose; Double the Writer's Block, Double the fun.]
"Shouldn't, wouldn't, couldn't..."
Bored and waiting for anything interesting to happen, Dak immediately perked up as the message arrive. His hand pulled the mouse across the screen and opened the dispatch almost out of reflex.
Robotnik's voice came in loud and clear. So there was a security problem; the first thing he thought was "Awesome;" things had gotten pretty slow in very short amount of time, and though he wasn't excited about a threat to the Empire, he was definitely happy to have something to busy himself with.
"Rose," He began, bringing up a digital bird's-eye-view of the base and surrounding area, "Make sure all the radar systems are working on the minnows; I'm going to reposition them."
He picked up a stylus, tapping the image of a Minnow-craft on the display. The ship's radar range appeared as a light circle around it. Using the stylus, he dragged the little icon across the screen, doing the same for six other Minnow-class ships until they form a ring around the base, as geographically possible. He assigned three more to patrol within the ring, and the last to continue its construction duties.

Rose found that her own arguing was coming to a halt.
Well, at least she won’t have to go there...and then there was a bad feeling in the very pit of her stomach.
But, it wasn’t time for that kind of thinking. She had to get the empire into defense.
“ Right...” she muttered under her breath as she walked over to the main consul.
The first thing she did, was to do what he said. She checked the radar system on the minnows to see if they were working. After the information showed that everything was in the green, she put both of the bases on high alert, so everything would be at the defense and attack at a moments notice.
She sighed, as she continued on.
Next, after the High Alert was in affect through out both bases, she but all the computers on active control, which would make it harder to gain access to information, going to greater lengths to protect the systems. And last, but not least, she activated the manual confirmation, so it would be up to Rose or Dakoter to decided with to blow them up to heck or to let them pass just because they wouldn’t be worth the time.
Once down, she put the security monitor on screen and leaned against the wall.
“ Wonder what’s up.” She muttered, starring at the screen.

[Sorry. Robot Apocalypse.... and school Dx]
"Something's gotten under Doctor R's skin, for once... it's definately something big..."
He figured- or hoped- Byrain and Trigger wouldn't take too long, now. A few minutes ago he was bored; now he was just plain impatient. Little did he know, the two had a rather large delay...
Posted by Rose Fox on Sep. 10 2007,20:06
‘ And It doesn’t make me feel any better.’ Rose replied silently to herself, as she placed a few monitor screens up, glancing at everything to make sure everything was fine.
“ Hopefully, something that doesn’t bring to damage to our plans.” she replied as she looked over everything with stern eyes.
‘ And something that won’t ruin what little confidence I have left.’

[kinda from Mainframe]
A secure communication chirps to get Rose's attention; audio only.
"Rose, are you there?", a familiar voice asks.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 07 2007,19:40
As she heared the voice, comeing from the speaker, Rose quickly put on a pair of headphones, and turned her side of the audio.
" Yes, Doctor." She replied, as she typed a little more to see how sercurity was going.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 07 2007,19:47
"I'm inbound to the base, should be there soon. What's the status of the robotizer and our guest?", he asks casually.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 07 2007,19:51
Typeing quickly, Rose brought up the screen for the robotizer and looked over the information.
" Everything seems to be in place. As for our guest, Byrain has yet to return. He should be comeing though, thanks to what ever is happening. In fact, What the heck -is- going on? What's the emergancy??"
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 07 2007,20:05
"All in due time, Rose. We have a schedule to meet, thus the need for the rush. Contact Byrain and find out what the holdup is.", Robotnik orders.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 07 2007,20:09
" Yes Doctor." Rose answered as she temporally cut off Robotnik's audio. With a few types, Rose opened Byrain's communications line.
{ Transmission to Back to the Underwater Base }

Robotnik sits back as he awaits a reply. He opens a nearby panel and retrieves a bottle of soda from it, opening the drink and takes a long swig.... then proceeds to let loose a long belch, which is followed by giggling.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 08 2007,16:25
Before Rose could reply to Byrain's answer, she found that he had already stopped the transmission.
She huffed at the rudeness of him hanging up on her out of sudden, before she turned Robotnik's audio back on.
" He's already here." She answered him, as she waited for his reply.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 08 2007,19:43
"Good," Robotnik replied, "I'll be there shortly. Robotnik out." He follows the statement with a short belch.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 09 2007,16:59
Rose simply stared into space.
'Did...he just....'
As Rose began to realize the truth, she gave out a sigh. She placed her elbow on the control pannal and put her fingues at the cress* of her nose.
" I guess..." She started in a low tone, ", with great things comes a great consequences..."
She typed a few buttons with her left hand, giveing Byrian's shuttle clearance.
[* It's the place between the eyes. I don't know what it's called, but that's what I'm talking about.]
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 09 2007,18:24
"Woo, sorry 'bout that. Been a while since I could guzzle a cola like that. Heh!", Robo stated matter of factly. "Oh, and gimmie clearance. I can see the base from here. And, uh... better do it quickly."
Robotnik turned off the autopilot and grabbed the controls. With a smooth motion he pushed the transport to full throttle.

It didn't take too long, before the shuttle entered the base, and landed firmly on the ground.
Byrain leaned againsted the door, now with both knieves out, twirled them between his fingures.
" Hmm...makes me wonder what he's gonna do, yo." Byrain thought aloud, as he tried to intimidate the cat.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 10 2007,04:51
Kitty, still in her cage, refused to be intimidated.
"Yeah, yeah. Now how about opening this stupid thing so I can get some legroom?"
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 10 2007,17:56
" Yes, Doctor." Rose replied, giveing cleance to the incomeing ship.
Afterwards, she got up from the chair, and walked down the hall to the hanger.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 11 2007,14:38
Robotnik noticed the bay doors opening.. slowly. He smirked to himself, "I said QUICKLY, Rose. Ah well, this should be fun!".
With a jerk of the control stick Robotnik forced the craft into a roll, managing to squeeze most of it through the slowly separating hangar doors. The tailfin clipped the hangar door and ripped off with a loud crunching noise, resulting in Robo's transport getting forced into a spinning crash across the hangar bay.
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 11 2007,18:35
" Lemme think....no." Byrain said dully, as his eyes began to drup due to no action.
Fortunately though, it didn't take too long before something.
A loud crash was heard, with a bit of a tremble which caused Byrain to go into alert mode.
" What the eh?!" he exclaimed, as he opened the shuttle door to see what the commotion was about. He stared wide eyed at the crash, before two robots had already come up towards the shuttle. Byrain stared at the robots before giving orders.
" Er, you two, watch the cat 'till....she's needed. There. That works, yo."
As soon as he said that, he rushed off to the crash sight, the two robots entering the shuttle to watch over Kitty. Running at full speed, it didn’t take too long before he got up close to the crash sight. He blinked as he examined the damage and stayed in complete silence, unable to say anything at the moment.
After a bit of looking over, he finally got the guts to say something.
“ Umm, If you -just- so happen to be in there, boss,” he started somewhat shyly, “....and alive.....and not dead...........and not fatally wounded...., I just have one thing to say....”
A pause.
“I GIVE THAT CRASH A 10!!!” he shouted, putting both fists into the air with a large grin on his face.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 12 2007,03:36
(("Site" ≠ "sight"))
Dammit!
Well, this situation was unappealing. Not only was Kitty still caged up, but it sounded like something interesting had happened nearby, if that crash was any indication. And she had no way of knowing what it was.
Okay, stay calm. There's always a way out...
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 12 2007,06:07
For a brief moment there was no reply. Then, muffled laughter could be heard from within the shuttle. It continued as the door the the shuttle door was kicked from within. But once the hinges gave in to the assault the door fell to the floor and the laughter was heard throughout the hangar bay as Robotnik emerged, quite unharmed.
"You got that right, Byrain! That was AWESOME!", he announced, "Ladies and gents, I have arrived!" Robotnik then gave a flourished bow and even more mirthful laughter.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 13 2007,10:45
As Rose walked down the hall, she would soon find herself baffled as she heard (and felt) the crash in the hanger.
Her eyes opened in shock, as she began to ran towards the hanger. Of course, once getting a little more closer, she began to hear laughter, which caused her to slow. A confused look appeared on her face as she finally entered the hanger, to see Robotnik, laughing, ontop of the reacking.
She stood there stund, before she yelled out, " WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!?!"
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 13 2007,16:22
Robotnik continued to chuckle as he turned to face Rose. "I told you to open the doors quickly, didn't I? Well, because of that I clipped this bird on the way in and crashed. And it was a good one, right Byrain?"
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 13 2007,16:43
"Yes, it was!" Byrain shouted in agrement. " Despite the fact that I didn't get to see it, yo. Aw, well, sounded cool anyways."

"..."
Kitty was still in her cage. But as she watched the robots guarding her, an idea clicked into her mind. She cleared her throat and spoke up, trying to imitate Byrain's voice as accurately as she could, and sort of covering her mouth with one hand so nobody would see her lips moving.
"I've done some thinkin', and I've changed my mind, yo. I think the lady cat trapped in the pet carrier needs a bit of air so she'll be rarin' to go for when the time comes. So c'mon, robots, howzabout you open up the cage door fo' her and let her roam some, eh?"
...She hoped that the robots' voice recognition software wasn't too advanced to be fooled by that.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 13 2007,19:41
[Just because it'd be funny I HAVE to let this happen.
]
Call it a slip in the logic circuits, a random glitch caused by a damaged circuit board or pure random luck but... one of the robots actually falls for Kitty's trick.
"Yes, sir.", one of the guards responds in a static like voice. It turns around and unlocks the cage by punching in the code for the electronic lock which, unfortunately, responds with a louder than one would like chime.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 13 2007,19:41
A dumfounded face became clearly plastered on her face.
Oh. Dear. Robotics. No.
The face of dumfouded, soon became dull as she walked over towards them.
" Like I had control over the speed of the door anywho." Rose replied as she got over them.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 13 2007,19:57
"E-mer-gen-cee Oh-ver-ride. Silly girl....", Robo's reply trails off as he looks across the hangar bay, tilting his head slightly. "Did you guys hear something?"
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 13 2007,20:04
Byrain narrowed his eyes in curiosty as he heared the chime sound.
"....Um, whay do I have a bad feeling about that sound right now, yo?" Byrain asked as he looked towards Robotnik and then towards the shuttle.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 14 2007,05:19
YES!
As the lock released and the door swung itself open, Kitty stepped out and stretched her limbs.
Ah... that felt GREAT! Maybe I should look into becoming a secret agent. Okay, first order of business: figure out where I am.
She stepped out of the shuttle she'd been caged in and glanced around, immediately spotting the somewhat-damaged bay doors.
Whoa! Looks like someone tried to come in when the doors weren't all the way open... or something like that. I guess that would explain that crash earlier. Well, I should be able to see out if I get closer...
Figuring this out, Kitty began her approach to the aforementioned bay doors.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 14 2007,07:21
Rose blinked, wondering what was going on, until she saw the cat walking towards the bay doors.
" I believe -THAT- is what your hearing, sir." She answered, pointing towards the cat.

Robotniks expression changes to one of mild aggitation. "Well, she's got nowhere she can run to. Byrain, you take a squad of robots and capture her. Rose, I want you to find out why she escaped. I'll prepare tonights broadcast."
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 14 2007,14:48
" Eh, I can catch her myself, yo. " Byrain said carelessly, " Can't be too much of a problem."
Byrain began to walk over back towards the shuttle. Once there, he signaled the two robots to come along with him, before walking towards Kitty.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 14 2007,15:21
Drat! I've been spotted already.
Noticing Byrain and the guards tailing her, Kitty hastened her pace and darted around several generic Robotnik airships in a sort of random zigzag path, hoping to lose them.
I've gotta give that punk and those robots the slip if I'm ever going to get out of here. This is just like Metal Gear Solid, only my name's not Snake...
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 14 2007,15:43
" Right.” Rose said, walking over to a monitor and began to type fast, trying to find the problem. “Also, just out of curiosity, what’s the big emergency anyways? An information leak or what?*”
(( * She’s talking about the Metallix problem.))
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 14 2007,18:20
"What do you mean, Rose?", Robotnik asked as he turned towards the exit.
The two robots followed Byrain's order and trailed behind him.
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 14 2007,18:41
"....Boy, how orginal, yo." Byrain retored, as he rolled his eyes.
" Okay, so, you got that-away," Byrain said as he pointed to on of the robots to go towards the far side right of the hanger, " And you go that-away while I'll trail her behind." Byrain fishied, ordering the other robot to go over to the other end of the hanger.
Putting his hands in his pockets, he began to zig, zag through the planes and shuttles. As he went through, he took one hand out of his pockets and cupped it over his mouth.
" Okay, yo. You can come out now." Byrain said in a unamused tone, " Not like you can get away anywho, yo."
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 15 2007,03:49
Oh, I can't, can I? Well, just watch me.
By now, Kitty had done quite a bit of quick zigging and zagging, so it wasn't likely that Byrain could still see her. She took the opportunity to slip into a nearby aircraft to hide; the door had luckily been left unlocked.
Let's see how long I can evade him...
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 15 2007,18:19
Rose continued to type, the scan was about one fourth complete, which made Rose a little angery.
" Why you made the bases go code red. Unfortunetly, I can't say much more since you really didn't tell us what the situation was all about."
Posted by Irridrix on Oct. 16 2007,16:07
[From station square]
Irridrix was flying in full speed. His pack was about to over heat so he decided to touch down on the island that would take him him to where Dr. Robotnik was. He started heading for the hangar where Byrain would be with "the package".
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 16 2007,16:59
Robotnik paused at the exit a moment to answer, "Because there's been a glitch with Metallix. I'll explain it later. Meet me in the command room when you are done with the investigation." With that he continued on into the hallway.
The robots followed Byrains' orders, taking up flanking positions within the hanger to pin Kitty down.
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 16 2007,17:04
After a bit of going through he stopped, looked around, and sighed.
" Boy, this is really dull, yo." Byrain replied, looking both ways.
" Hey, Robot Guys! Mind Scanning for any life form in the room!?" Byrain yelled, as his poster became worse.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 16 2007,18:51
If I stay here, he's bound to find me eventually. I'd better think of something.
After a bit of hesitation, Kitty slipped into the cargo bay of the aircraft she was hiding in. It was stocked with several different samples of ammunition for various weapons. There were even some metallic drum cans filled with various explosive chemicals. But one of them was dry, and Kitty climbed into it to hide.
Perfect! It's just my size. I wonder if he'll find me in here...
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 16 2007,20:56
" Oh, Metallix had a glitch, and I thought it was-" Rose stoped her sentance as she looked at the screen blankly. The scan was just about three fourths done, when she began to break, slilently.
"Not........again....." Rose replied, trying to hold her feelings in, without breaking down.
After a while, the scan was complete and it should the information. It clearly stated that the two robots had a glitch in there commading chips, where even the most worest of immitations could be vaild.
" Oh....so that's what's what." Rose said, as she looked towards the exit. She looked at the screen, and then back towards the exit before she bega her way towards and down the hallway.

Irridrix entered the hangar throwing Metallix's limp metal body on the ground to take a look around. He caused an awful loud bang. He saw that a transport had crashed, but other than that everything seemed fine. He picked up the scrap of metal that was his brother and started his search for the doctor.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 17 2007,17:32
The elevator doors slid open obediently as Robotnik approached. He entered and pushed the button for the level housing the Command Center. While he waited Robotnik pulled his PDA from his pocket and put in a command with the central computer to load the video image disguising software.
As he operated the device a notification about Irridix' arrival chimed. "Hmm, mission successful I hope.", he said to himself as he arched a brow.
In response to Byrain's request both robots pointed in a direction. A location filled with drum cans containing various chemicals.
Posted by Byrain Fox on Oct. 21 2007,15:42
" Find her yet?" Byrain shouted, his voice carrying. " Well, if ya did, begin closeing in on her. And make sure -not- to kill her when she starts runnin' too, yo." He began walking straight, looking to the sides to see in which direction the robots may come to.
Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 21 2007,17:12
((You guys are making it sound like Kitty's trick shouldn't have fooled anyone.))
For the moment, Kitty remained where she was. Inside an empty drum can, in the cargo bay of an aircraft, inside the gigantic hangar. With Byrain and those robots seeking her, it'd be a bad idea for her to leave her hiding place.
Carefully, Kitty used her claw to punch a small hole in the side of the can- the walls were thin and the can was a little aged, so it gave quite cleanly- and peered through it. Nobody was around but a bunch of ammo and other drum cans. But she decided she still wouldn't take any chances. Any minute now her pursuers might burst in.
Posted by Rose Fox on Oct. 25 2007,17:21
As Rose got to the elevator, she looked behind, wondering where the metal clanking noise was coming from. As she looked surprised at the sight she was seeing, her draw dropped.
There was a Metal looking version of Knuckles. Carrying an obvious corpse of Metallix.
As she turned back to the front, her expression would look as though she might have died, and would continue this look as she got into the elevator to the Control Center.
Posted by Irridrix on Oct. 25 2007,23:49
Irridrix decided to check the control center for the Doctor. He headed towards the elevator and saw a fox in the elevator. The elevator took off for the control room. He pushed the call button and waited for it to come back

[And Kitty, these are robots with sensor equiptment. Your hiding is effective against humans, but only somewhat effective against robots.]
Robotnik is at a computer terminal scanning program code when Rose arrives. He turns to face her and notices the expression on her face. "What's the matter, Rose?"
Meanwhile, in the hangar the bots begin moving in on their target; professionally tracking her heat signature.

Through her peephole, Kitty could see the two robots pursuing her.
Hm... I get the message that hiding like this won't do squat for me. I'd better move.
Kitty tried to climb out of the barrel, but the walls were too high, and she couldn't quite make it. Ultimately she tipped it over, creating a *clunk* noise, and somehow managed to get it upside-down on top of her, covering her like an overturned cup.
Well, this isn't exactly what I had in mind. Wonder if this is any better than my previous situation.

Rose's expresion didn't changed as she looked at him to answer his question.
" Hebegi-"
She blinked as the first set of words that came out of her mouth. She blinked again before tried again.
" Hebonde-"
She blinked again, her expression looked dumfounded.
' Okay, why can't I form -words- all of a sudden?' She thought to her self as she tried again for words.
" Hekinslof......." As she realized that words weren't wanting to form, her tone went tone through the words as an expression of annoince appeared on her face.

Irridrix tapped on the wall as he was going up. The music was kind of delightful, but the corpse being in the elevator made it a little gloomy.
The elevator chimed as the doors opened up in the control room.He picked up the corpse and walked out.
"Doctor, you in here?"
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Nov. 07 2007,14:28
The robots began to quickly move the barrels, making a path towards Kitty's location. It wouldn't take them long to get to her at this rate.
Back in the control room. "Something the matter, Rose?", Robotnik asked. With an air of humor he continued, "Are my stunning good looks making it difficult to talk? I seem to have that effect on people."
Before Rose could respond the voice of Irridix came from the elevator. "Yeah, Irridix, I'm here." As soon as he noticed the broken form of Metallix Robo added, "And I see you were successful. Good work."

Kitty had just gotten the drum can off of her and made a break for the exit, knocking over several other drum cans on her way. Unfortunately, one can made a spark as it struck another, and that spark must have ignited something among all the ammo and explosives...
*POW*
Whoa! What was that?
The sudden burst of heat warmed Kitty's back as she hastened her pace. More bursts followed as the first one ignited others. She wasn't sure what was going on back there, but she wasn't about to look back to find out.

[Time to get things moving. Big events happening and stuff!]
Before Rose could answer an urgent chime sounded from Robotniks datapad. "Eh..?" he grunted curiously as he glanced over the device. "An event? What's going on?" A video feed begins to play that's been transmitted by one of Robo's covert bots in the Capitol.
Several moments pass as he watches the video, and with every passing minute his expression grew angrier. At the end of the transmission Robotnik slowly stands up, took a deep long breath and grabbed a random piece of equipment in the room only to hurl it into a wall.
"This is MY world to conquer! And these fools think they can waltz in here and try to take it?! I don't FRACKIN think so!!" Robo punches up the comms to the swatbots on the station. "All swatbots, apprehend the intruder Kitty O'Brien and bring her to me immediately!"
In response all the swatbots that were guarding stations begin to move towards her location. The two already on her trail hasten their efforts to reach her as the fire suppression systems in the area release foam all over the area.
"This is just unbelieveable. This ruins my timetable. Now I have to cancel my plans." he states as he shakes his head. A few taps on the datapad bring up the status of the Egg Carrier. "It's almost complete. Good. Rose, Irridix, come with me. And bring that scrap pile, too." he orders as he heads to the elevator. Once everyone gets in the elevator he punches in a code. Destination: Egg Carrier.
[I'm just going to have to assume Rose follows and eventually Byrain.]

[I'm just gonna go ahead and post.]
Irridrix got in the elevator with the metal sonic. He looked at the Doctor. He seemed very angry.
"Doctor you seem angry. Don't be, I have a hunch that we will be able to defeat this wannabe Empire. I think it would be much easier to defeat them with mine and my brother's power combined. The only problem is that it would take months to repair his CPU and obedience system."
He looked at the Doctor to see his response

((Swatbots! What universe do you think you're in?))
Oh ----. I've got everyone on my trail now. Looks like there's only one thing to do now...
Kitty made a run for it, going as fast as she could, crisscrossing through the crowd of robots and looking for an exit. A ladder running up to the roof of the hangar caught her eye, and she jumped on it and made her way up it as quickly as possible.
This better be my way out. I'm sick of being the mouse instead of the cat.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Dec. 05 2007,17:44
[None of these damn things have a proper name yet, so for now I'm calling the security robots "Swatbots".]
The swatbots fire warning shots above Kitty's head. "Surrender now or we will be forced to subdue you!" one of the bots orders.
Back in the elevator Robotnik watches the video feed again. "I don't think we have that much time, Irridix. Besides, one robot will not make much difference at this moment. Sheer firepower and numbers are what we need."
A soft tone sounds the end of the elevators decent. The doors part to reveal a massive underground facility that bustles with activity; countless worker robots are busily working on a massive airship. The Egg Carrier!
Posted by Rose Fox on Dec. 05 2007,21:46
[ Sorry. This will not happen again.]
Rose, (who had been following silently) looked at the carrier with great awe. She watched as the robots moved to and fro, the place bustling with activity.
‘ Woah…I’ve never seen this many robots in just on concentrated area….‘
She thought to herself as she looked around. To think, that there were more robots was baffling. Hearing the number one million wasn’t the same as seeing one million. She thought she’d know what those numbers looked like, but now, she knew she was wrong. She wondered just how many robots were down there.

Dakoter A.
::
::
::

Posted by Nokame on Jun. 20 2007,16:33
Dakoter A.:
Dak read and reread the message, then promptly exclaimed: "Alright! VR station!"
...
He soon collected himself and made a mental note to erase the systems video and audio logs. he got to his feet and headed for the engine room to collect his sister, and possibly pick up a laser gun along the way.
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jun. 29 2007,09:01

Posted by The Great Robotnik on Jun. 29 2007,21:15
Powering into the docking bay, the ship powered down and locked into position. The air lock blasted the water out, and soon the green light came on, showing they could enter.
Leaving Rose where she was, Robotnik clicked his fingers. The droids all marched out in unison towards the largest chamber in the complex.
Posted by Rose Fox on Jun. 29 2007,21:18

^^ Night!]
Posted by Rose Fox on Jul. 28 2007,16:59
" May be so...but how would a couple of bar-none mercenaries be able to be of better help? No offense. As I see it, we could all be replaced by a robot.” Rose was now leaning against the wall, her arms folded ( as usual) as she ‘debated’ with the wolf.
Posted by Dakoter A. on Jul. 28 2007,22:33
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Aug. 07 2007,08:08

[ I almost forgot this topic! D:]

{ Transmission to Back to the Underwater Base }
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Oct. 07 2007,20:59

Posted by Kitty O'Brien on Oct. 13 2007,19:23
]Call it a slip in the logic circuits, a random glitch caused by a damaged circuit board or pure random luck but... one of the robots actually falls for Kitty's trick.

[Actually, Rose is a human.
][And Kitty, these are robots with sensor equiptment.

The elevator chimed as it reached the bottom and opened up for Irridrix to climb in. He pushed the button for the control room and set the metal corpse down on the floor

((It's been a week. I'm posting now, like it or not, because Byrain isn't.))

Good work."

As Byrain got up to one point, he saw what had happened. The cat tried to jolt from her hideing place and ended up makeing everything worse.
" Hmpf, real smart yo." Byrain muttered under his breath as he walked towards the contaner.
" Make sure to caputer her, yo! After all, we don't want her to go and kill herself by drowning."

((Quick reality check here, Byre... the whole scene with Kitty is taking place in the closed cargo bay of an aircraft. You don't have X-ray vision, do you?))

[Actually, Kitty, it's being held in the hangar bay of the Aquatic Base.]

((The aircraft IS in the hangar bay. Failure to communicate, or what?))

Hey, your the one who confused me. >> I knew it was in an aircraft till I saw this.

Through her peephole, Kitty could see the two robots pursuing her.

((I figured the robots had already entered the cargo bay. Isn't that a logical step to make?))

((It's been a whole damn week. Someone post, I'm getting bored.))

((Since no one's posting I will))
Irridrix looked at the Doctor and headed towards him. he placed Metallix's body on the floor as he stood next to the Doctor.
"I'd like to have him repaired but to have an obedience system like me Doctor. That way he will never turn on the Empire again. Besides, with my power and his speed we could definitely defeat Sonic and his friends."

[Just waiting on Rose since I am in the middle of a conversation with her.]
Posted by The Great Robotnik on Dec. 04 2007,15:48
