I found a channel on YouTube that I think some of you around here may find interesting:
https://www.youtube.com/user/SkallagrimNilsson
This guy goes by the name Skallagrim, and his channel mostly focuses around bladed weaponry like swords, axes, and the like. He discusses characteristics of various bladed weapons, and fighting techniques with said weapons. Most interestingly, he reviews fictional weapons (Link's Master Sword, Cloud's Buster Sword, Kingdom Heart's Keyblade, Skyrim weapons, etc.) and discusses how practical they would be in real life to use (the answer for most of them is...not at all).
Plus he discusses sword tactics from fiction (hanging your weapon on your back, or dual wielding) and how practical those tactics would be in real life (the answer for most of them is not very).
I just figured this would be an interesting channel to most of you, since we have a lot of characters around here that use things like swords, axes, spears, and so on. Give this channel a watch if you don't know a lot about combat with edged weapons. You will definitely learn a few things, and it may help improve your roleplaying as well.
