Also, do you have a character you want to roleplay as? You can do a fan character, or we have some official characters who aren't taken right now.

I found it on someone's signature on the Middle Ground. Stormer Aurion, in case you're curious, I couldn't sign up without providing a referral so I put his name down there as well.

I was thinking of playing a fan character. I roleplayed on Sonic forums many years ago and I still have a few characters who could fit the setting with some tweaking. Plus I like playing stranger anthro choices. As for cannon characters, mmm, if I was to play anyone it'd probably be someone from the Archie Comics.

I need to tell you though. Your account name needs to be the same as the character you play as. But I can change that on the admin panel, so no need for you to make another account if that becomes necessary.

Ah, I wasn't clear on that because of the character limit! As a minor aside I can't view profiles, even my own, is that an error or just something I'm not aware of?

I don't actually know Stormer I just clicked on the link in his signature. It turns out I do like Sonic and roleplaying. As far as anthros go I have a shark, had a phoenix, even a dinosaur at one point. I guess it's not too outlandish but I like to play things you don't see every day. Now that I'm older my characters have more backstory though so I'm less willing to create one-off characters who I'll never play again.

I guess we'll see what profile I make! If there's anything you guys are looking for at the moment I'll definitely keep it in mind?

When you say profiles, do you mean when you click on someone's username and it shows you their user profile? Or do you mean a character profile, where you submit your character?

You don't need to play any type of character in particular, as long as it can fit with the setting. Since this is a mashup of all the Sonic verses, we have a lot of flexibility here.

I have to warn you though. We move at a pretty slow pace around here, since we encourage people to deal with real life stuff before posting. But we can have a small roleplay outside of the main story in the games forum, if that helps to pass the time between posts in the main roleplay.

I understand completely about the pace, priorities and all that, but that's just fine by me. I'm a pretty relaxed player as well. I'd totally be down for something outside of the continuity though. Did you have something in mind?

Well, you are in the 'Awaiting Authorization' category right now. Once you put up a character profile and get that approved, I'll put you in the Members category and then you should be able to access the other forums.

As for side roleplays, we actually have a Power Rangers/Super Sentai one that we've started, although its stalled at the moment. Of course, I know a lot of people aren't big fans of Power Rangers like I am (I grew up with it in the early 90s), so I understand if you don't want to do that

Otherwise...I kind of feel like a Star Fox roleplay but I don't know if you're into that series either.

I'm open to suggestions too. We could make it Sonic-themed if you wanted.
