So I am officially in Job Corps., been there a few days now. It's a great place, I can tell this is going to be a good experience. Unfortunately, there is NO INTERNET. AT ALL.
I am going to petition the student government there to install a wifi box, but the prospects look bleak. There is a significant chance I will be out of internet for the next... well, year or so. Yeah, a year without regular internet access. Bollocks.
Right now I'm using the wifi at the grocery store down the road, but I can only be here for an hour before it boots me out. Not to mention I am going to be very busy and have a hard time finding time to sign out and walk up here.
I told you guys Job Corps. would take priority, even if it meant I couldn't post here anymore. Well, that's exactly what's happening. I can't keep walking up here every few days, not when I have work to do, and I doubt skipping up here every weekend is good enough for complete participation.
If you want to be patient with me, then I don't really have a problem popping my head in every Friday or Saturday if I can. Otherwise, we may already need to write me out. I started those dream diary chapters (which might as well be fanfiction) so if you want more of those then I can keep writing them. However, they kinda lose context without things going on in the present, and I was going to use them as a stage to set up my other two characters, so yeah.
I don't want to slow things down any more than they already are, so let me know what you want to do. Or something. I'll try to get back up tomorrow to check for messages, but I know you guys don't come in here that often, so if you don't read my post until after tomorrow, then consider this my resignation.
It was a pleasure working with you guys. It felt really good to dust off my old fan character and give him the back-story he so richly deserved. I'm moving on to bigger and better things, but odds are I'll be back. (I have this site saved in my bookmarks, so I'm sure I'll visit eventually.) The Middle Ground is still the place I call home, and so long as that site exists I'll always be around there.
Later.

It just seems like it's a recurring problem with our members not having reliable internet. I wonder why that is?
