Sometime in the not-too distant future...waaaaaay down in Deep Tartarus...Chronos and the Titans were making an evil scheme. For long ago, they were sealed away in Tartarus by the combined powers of the Greek and Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, and now, over 3,000 years later, they plan to enact their revenge and take over Earth once more.

Prometheus had just entered Chronos' throne room to tell his master of his plan to take over the surface world. The room was dark and depressing, with skeletons everywhere and an air of death about. "My lord.", said Prometheus as he bowed to the leader of the Titans, "I have just finished work on my latest creation." Chronos rose up from his throne of bones with an interested look on his face and said "Show me." At that moment, a large monster that resembled a twisted lizard in armor entered the room. "His name is Lizfalos, my liege.", Prometheus said with a grin on his fiery face, "And he will be the first of our new warriors we will use to conquer Earth again." Chronos was most pleased with his scientist's work, saying, "Very good. Send him at once, backed by a legion of dead warriors reborn!" Prometheus granted his master's request, and sent his new creation to the current cultural center of the world: Tokyo-To.
Meanwhile, Giichi Twinkieland wandered the streets of the Electric Town district. Colorful signs lined all of the buildings in a rainbow of hues, advertising any electronic consumer good known to mankind. Cameras, fuses, televisions, cables, and of course video games both new and retro. That last one was why he was here. He'd heard from a friend that the Super Spud shop had a special copy of Densha De D in stock, complete with a special controller. Giichi had the normal edition and loved it dearly, so he decided he was going to go right down and snatch it up before anyone else got it.

He elbowed his way through the crowds hustling and bustling in the narrow streets, as he tried to find the correct store. Young girls dressed in Lolita fashion called out advertisements for local bars and restaurants, as they tried to shove brochures into everyone's hands whether they wanted them or not. This was the only aspect of Electric Town he didn't really like, and he always kept his hands shoved into his pockets around here because of these girls.

[If anyone wants to participate, the Blue and Pink rangers are not taken Smile Red, yellow, and black are. Maybe we could have a special Sixth Ranger later.

Also Stormer, you should start a new paragraph every time a different character begins speaking.]
[Understood, Nail. Also, see if you can get the reference in the first sentence of my last post.]

Elsewhere, Stormer Aurion was walking around his usual hangout in the Arika district. The usual hustle and bustle of people moving all about was all too familiar to the fedora-wearing man in black. He rented a copy of volume 1 of one of his favorite shows, Masked Rider Century, to spend the weekend watching. He then picked up a cup of ramen to go and decided to head home with his new DVD. As he walked back to his apartment, he noticed that the sky was starting to get darker. "Hmm, that's odd. I don't seem to remember the forecast for today being rainy.", Stormer said as he walked down the street. He shrugged it off as just another lousy prediction by the weatherman and decided to continue on his way.
[Sorry, don't think I do.]

Giichi exited Super Spud, happy now that he was holding the precious Densha De D game in his hands. However, he too noticed that the sky appeared to be getting darker. It didn't bother him all that much though. Electric Town grew up around the Electric Town station. In fact, if you looked up above Super Spud, you'd see it was built directly beneath the bridge supports for the elevated train.

He moved as quickly as he could for the station, so that he could be sitting down and out of the rain after walking around for the past couple hours.
((I just saw your title.

...nope. Nopenopenopenopenope.))
[Nail came up with the title, not me. The reference was to Mystery Science Theater 3000, by the way.]

Stormer was not that far from his destination. But as he was just about to unlock his door to his apartment, he saw something quite out of the ordinary. A gang of strange creatures, resembling zombie-like Spartan warriors, were fighting a man in a red spandex suit in the park across the street. Stormer asked himself, "Have I been watching too many toku shows, or is that a real-life sentai battle?" The strange creatures looked to be getting the upper hand, as the warrior in red looked like he was nearly beaten. He pondered what this meant and decided to go see just what exactly was happening.
[Mind if I take control of Red?]

Meanwhile, Giichi's train rode on elevated tracks past the same park. A bunch of people started standing up and looking out the window. Frowning, Giichi decided to join them and see what was going on. His eyes widened in surprise, with a pleasant smile on his face.

Someone looked like they were filming the next toku show down there. They filmed toku all over Tokyo-to and it was really cool when you rounded a corner and just happened to run into a film crew doing their thing. However...as he looked around he realized he didn't see any film crew. And was it just him or did he see actual blood on the ranger's uniform? Surely not. Maybe they just came up with a way to better hide the cameras so they could film more dynamic fight scenes.

In any case, he decided he would get off at the next station and take a look at what all the fuss was about.

---

The red ranger took another hard blow in the gut, causing him to double over. He stumbled backwards, clutching to his wound as he bumped into a tree.

"Damn creatures! If only the other rangers were with me!"

He pushed back off of the tree, painfully settling into a stand. However, holding his body erect like this proved to be extremely hard to do. Groaning with every step, he staggered back towards the minions and tried to keep his head held high.
[I'm fine with you controlling Red. Since I have control over the villains as well, it only makes sense to let you handle Red.]

Stormer ran toward the park as fast as he could. But just as he reached the park, one of the creatures ran toward him and attacked. Stormer was caught off guard, took a blow to his left arm, and got knocked over to the tree near the red stranger. The red stranger was not looking to be in the best shape at all. His helmet's visor was cracked, he had bloody slashes all over his body, and he looked like he was ready to collapse from exhaustion. Stormer asked him, "Are you all right? And just what are these things?"
In spite of his injuries, the red ranger stood up and held his arms out to catch Stormer as he got flung over. The red ranger stumbled rather clumsily backwards into a tree, crying out as a fresh wave of pain flowed through his body from the impact. After he got over the injury, the ranger let out a few deep breaths.

"No, I'm not okay. And these...these are servants of Chronos."

He looked at the pouch clipped to his belt for a moment, away from Stormer. Was this the moment Master Rex was talking about? His master told him that while he'd lost his original comrades, new ones would come to him unexpectedly. Master Rex didn't mention what they would look like or anything. He only said that he would know the right time to give out the morphers. Was now that time? The ranger returned his visor to face Stormer.

"Can you fight, sir?"

Meanwhile, Giichi watched from behind some bushes on the edge of the clearing. He still couldn't see where any of the cameras were. Was this real, or wasn't it? In any case, his leg accidentally rustled the branches. That would make a loud enough noise to get the attention of nearby minions. Giichi's eyes widened at the noise, as he tried to hide from sight.
Stormer nodded yes and said, "I happen to know Martial Arts. Would that work?" He was understandably confused by this question. He thought to himself, "Man, this day is getting stranger by the minute."
